How can I sync email on iPhone and iPad but NOT PC laptop?
It's a COX POP email and I keep more on my laptop and in folders than I want on my phone or iPad.
POP mail is not synced. POP mail is picked up individually by each email client. If you want to pick up less on one device than the other, set the one device you want to master the account with to delete mail from the server after you pick it up. That way, it would not be available to the other mail clients. Otherwise, you would need to delete whatever mail you do not want on the individual devices. You can also keep in on whatever devices you want and it will not affect the other devices.

ThanksThe inkjet spam email is the same one that is causing my iPad's issue! I'm having the exact same problem as you're having --touching the email or having the email at the top of the screen freezes/shuts down ipad. I've been to two Apple stores and no one seems to know what's going on, plus, they claim they haven't heard of this problem i suggested they go to the Apple Commnity to get a feel for what's going on.

Csoud1 is correct. But if you still want to keep your iTunes Match subscribed and did not want to sync with your iOS devices, do the following:
On you iOS devices, just go to Setting > Music > disable iTunes Match -

Hi guys, maybe someone can help me out wit this this problem.
I have the iPhone 4s, Ipad3 and a PC, iCloud was working operfectly bewteen all devices. I recentlky bought the new Macbook air and when I turned iCloud on all my contacts cam in automaticaly.
My surprise came later when I realized that not all contacts where in my Mac. I checked my iPhone and Ipad and all where there. I then checked iCloud.com and not all my contacts where there. So this is very strange. I cloud transferred the contacs bewteen my iphone and Ipad but not into iCloud.com and to my Mac.
I did a test with one of the contacts and deleted and create it again and then this was transferred to iCloud and to my Mac, but I really do not want to do this with all my contacts.
Anyone can help me out with this???

I don't know how you have your sync set up configured but ....
Connect your iPad to the PC and launch iTunes if it doesn't start on it's own.
If you auto sync, let the sync process complete but do not disconnect the iPad when it's done syncing.
Click on your iPad name on the left sidebar under the Devices heading
Click on the Info Tab at the top on the right side of the iTunes window
Click on Sync ... Calendars.
Click on All Calendars or choose the ones that you want to sync.
Click Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes Window.

No luck reset the Extreme to factory and redo the setup.. this time use all short names, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Bonus for names <10 characters.
Use passwords with the same rules.. only can be 8-20 characters.. mixed case and numbers.
Try again with the Macbook..
No luck give explicit details of the setup of the whole network. -

Unfortunately Firefox 29 has a new version of Sync that isn't backwards compatible, so Bookmarks on the Go will need to be updated to work with the new Sync version.
I think the major problem between Apple iOS and Mozilla is Apple's "walled garden" approach to software running on their devices and Mozilla's open source approach to software. -
ICloud syncing iPhones and iPad but not to iCloud nor my Mac
I have two iPhones, an iPad and two MacBooks. iCloud is used for syncing the content. This all works ok, except for the Address book. Address book content is synced only between the iDevices but neither to the iCloud Web-Portal nor to my Macs. This is very puzzling because I thought all the synchronization is done through iCloud, so how can the iCloud Portal and my Macs be left out. Especially given the fact, that the calendar sync works perfectly.
Here's what I did to verify:
- create a new address record named "test iPhone" on my iPhone. The record shows up on my iPad, but not in the web and not on my Macs
- create a new address record named "test iPad" on my iPad. The record show up on my iPhone, but not on the web and not on my Macs.
- create a new address record named "test Mac" on my Mac. The record shows up in the web and on my iDevices
- create a new address record named "test Web" via iCloud web interface. The record shows up on my Macs, but not on the iDevices
any ideas?You can have each individual service turned on or off, so while you may not be using 2 iCloud accounts, it is perfectly possible to use 2 accounts and get exactly the results you are getting.
Why don't you look to see if you are using 2 accounts, you could check settings > mail, contacts and calendars on your phone and iPad or just look at the contacts app. -

Why won't my iPhone 4S and iPad 2 sync with iTunes 11? My iPod Classic syncs fine, but iTunes 11 does not even recognize my iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Both are visible in My Computer so I know it's not a USB or connection problem.

Finally tried to update driver and it said I had the latest driver for Windows 7. I then disabled it, hard reset on iPad (original iPad) and when it was back on it installed the driver on my computer. Enabled driver and GLORY! It finally works normal.

I can't access my itune store through my PC. I have tried removing and reinstalling Itunes,but to no avail. I also tried accessing trough I cloud on my pc but it say apple ID not correct but my Apple ID works on all my other devices such as Iphone 4s and Ipad 2. If I go to Icloud.com I can access my account but can't get to Itune store.

On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference... -
ICal duplicated on iphone and itunes but not on laptop... (not using Mobileme)
I recently got a new laptop and exported my calendars from my old laptop to new.
I then synced my iphone via itunes which resulted in all calendars being duplicated!
The calendars on my laptop are not duplicated.
The calendars on my itunes sync and iphone are duplicated.
I do not use Mobileme or Entourage.
I can't seem to get them to sync, but I can clear them off the iphone (by replacing info on phone during sync). However they still remain on the itunes sync.
Can anyone help? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.weird. after not working for almost 24 hours they all just came through
