I have searched the data base for answers, but none provided a workable solution. What I am having an issue with is having data pushed (through iCloud) between one device over to the other. From iPhone to iPad and vice versa. In particular, when I take a photo or video I am looking for it to appear on the "other" device. I followed all the instructions and all my settings are correct. I even followed recommendations from this forum about resetting the devices, but I still have no result. What anI doing wrong? Is my apple ID bad? If yest how can I check it? I a mable to sign into iCloud with my OD so I suspect it is correct.
Not sure what to do. Thanks for all the help.

I don't use iCloud for other stuff, but I do use photo stream and it works quite well. Take a photo on my iPad and as soon as my Touch is on wifi, the photo will show up.
never tried it with videos but the same premise should apply

- The iTunes backup that iTunes makes included photos in the camera roll. If yo go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices what is the date of the backup? Is it when the photos were on the iPod? You have to restore from that backup.
- What may have happened is that you backup the iPod after you restored the iPod but before restoring from backup. iTunes only keeps one backup and overwrites the previous backup with the changes.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

To sync with iPhone's calendar (also called iCalendar) you need to use a cloud-based calendar. If you already have lightning, install the Google Provider addon and setup Google Calendar. If you have already done that, go to settings on your iPhone. In the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars area, add your Google account, and turn on Calendar. Make sure you have the same iCloud account set up on your mac and your iPhone.

If it is actually an exchange calendar, and it's not linked to a specific user, it should be possible to simply add the exchange account to each device in question and have that exchange account only sync the calendar. Then every user has access to the same calendar and can add/edit entries to the calendar as needed.
The same would apply if it were a Google calendar added via Exchange.
If the calendar is not actually on Exchange, but rather added from an outside source, it will depend on that outside source where the calendar originates.

When you add the account to the pad it should work just fine. You are doing somethjing subtly wrong with the password as you are setting the account up.
Try again, and pay real close attention to not only the password, but the other entries as you set up the account.
If you get frustrated, simply go to google, and reset your passwoird to something new that you will easily remember, then use that password. You will need to change the pword in your other devices as well to match the new one.

I upgraded to lion and now i get an error message saying could not sync photos with Ipad as they can not be viewed on the ipad.
