How can I sync music on my Iphone with a Mac that previously had an different Itunes account.
Im having trouble syncing my playlist to a previously owned Mac. It keeps telling me that my Iphone is already synced to a device and will be erased in order to sync with the previously owned Macs library. Im not concerned about keeping the music already on the previously owned Mac, and would like to keep the $2000 worth of music on my Iphone, I need to be able to back it up though so if anyone could help.
Yup. You have to update itunes first. heres what I did and I had no problems.
1 Download newest version of iTunes.
2 Back up phone to PC.
3 Hook pc up in a safe place with good wifi and power supply.
4 Start iTunes.
5 Hook up phone via usb cable to pc.
6 click on update button in iTunes.
7 Let the phone and iTunes do the rest. dont touch your phone until it restarts itself and goes back to the mini tutorial when you first turn it on.

You can't transfer music from iphone to mac, its only a one way sync itune to iphone.
Do you still have a copy of your itunes media library? YOu'll need that to copy to your new mac.

My old Iphone is from 2011 and I recently damaged it. I filed an insurance claim and got a new Iphone. When I backed up my old Iphone, Itunes would only take the music I purchased on Itunes. How do I get the music that I didnt purchase on Itunes over to my new Iphone? Mind you, these music files are very old and were uploaded from computers I no longer have. There has to be a way. Please tell me how. I have over 750 songs I didnt purchase through Itunes and I have to erase my old Iphone and send it back to the insurance company. Please help!!!

How can I remove music from my iPhone that's not on a playlist, or checked off in the Sync window in any of the possible categories (Playlist, genre, artist, etc)? HELP! It's taking up SO much space on my phone but I cannot see a way to remove any of it
If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple. -

Need help?Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

If you do not have a back up of the crashed hard drive you can download an app to copy from the iPhone to iTunes on the new hard drive.
I have used Pod2Mac. There is also Pod2PC.

Purchased iTunes content can be re-downloaded for free, directly to the device, as long as you use the samme Apple ID that was used to originally purchase the content. Either that, or you sync it to the phone using iTunes. You can also use iTunes Match.

How can i sync music from different computer without losing pictures??
my phone randomly "deleted" all of my music. It all shows up in itunes when I plug it into a computer. The only problem is MY compuer is currently out of commision and wont be fixed for at least a month. What Im trying to do is plug it into my friends computer and get music from her iTunes but when i go to move over specific songs a little window pops up that says my iphone can only be synced with 1 itunes at a time and that the current content will be erased if i do this. Im just not sure if this means all of the music content or all of the content including apps, pictures, etc.
all i need to know is how can i put music onto my iphone from someone elses itunes without losing my pictures or affecting any other content on my phone?Did they change that or is it just that way for iphone? because I know when i had an Ipod classic.. or whatever theyre called.. I could definitely get music from mulitple computers. I had music from at least 4 different itunes accounts when I had that ipod.
