Every time I try to sync, my computer restarts with a WDF_VIOLATION. I read something about reinstalling with Windows 7 compatability. I need step by step instructions. Thanks.

The only iPod that can access iCloud is iPod touch (because it's an iOS device like iPhone and iPad).

There is no supported way to transfer library content synced to an iDevice to another iDevice. You also cannot sync library content from an iDevice to a different iTunes library. Content transfer is from the itunes library on the computer to the iDevice.
The one exception is purchased content (from the iTunes store), which can be transferred to the computer by selecting the "Transfer Purchases" menu option with hte device connected to the computer.
The only resolution I could offer, is that you "Could" (assuming you still have the original computer with the content) transfer the music via homesharing or another method listed in the following KB article:

Right click on your device in the device list and choose "transfer purchses" to copy all music bought in iTunes to your new iTunes library.

I think the dock on my 5th generation ipod nano is broken. Is there a way that i could fix this?

Every time I try to connect my 5th generation ipod Nano to my computer I get a message that says that the device is unrecognizable. I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling itunes and I have tried most everything else the Apple Support says to do. I checked my devices on my computer when I had the ipod connected and it said that there was some type of problem with the USB dock on my ipod. other than this I have not had any other problems with this ipod. Is there any way I can fix this without having to get anew ipod?
