How can I sync my calendar with outlook

This question has a couple parts to it.

First, I am self employed and use Outlook as my primary calendar. With my BB7 device this syncing issue was easy but I find it so hard with my new Z30.

My email is a rogers.com email. I have 2 email accounts on my device (personal and business which are both rogers.com emails.

How can I sync my calendar with outlook and allow changes made in both outlook or the device appear updated on both outlook and my device?

When I make a calendar entry in my phone it prompts me to use either my groups, my work email, my personal email and then I see BLINK with the name of my office computer.

What should I be using as my default calendar? The one that says BBlink-Computer name or my business email address?

Secondly is there a way to sync all my calendar entries with outlook to avoid personal and business conflicts? That is my BBM group calendar entries, personal email calendar entries and my business calendar entries?

I'm really baffled by all this. I keep being told I need to set up an outlook.com email address. Do I really need to do this? I prefer not to.

Essentially, how can I make all my calendar entries show on my office outlook calendar so I can see everything to avoid scheduling conflicts and not need to check my device before booking an appointment in my desktop outlook?

Lastly I have my outlook set to show me Canadian Holidays. How can I get these to appear in my device calendar?

Please...
This has been baffling me since I for my device about a month ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the latest link software on my PC and have the latest OS on my phone.

Thank you in advance to all that reply.

Regards,
Dan

I think (and I'll double check) only the BBLink events will sync on a wired USB sync. I'm fairly certain of that.
You'll need to use your calendar syncing via an EAS email account (outlook.com, for instance, is free) to sync wirelessly. It works great. I use it and was a former tied to the USB sync guy as well... and I thought I was gonna die a painful death without it. I found more freedom this way.
This explains the process. But I don't think you'll get BBM Groups to sync.

• How can I sync two calendars with Outlook?

My iPhone is set to Spanish and so it uses a calendar automatically named "Calendario." All my data is on there.
I would like to add the US holidays to my calendar.
When I tried to do this on Outlook, it added the holidays to its own default calendar called "Calendar" (which is otherwise empty). Nothing was added to "Calendario." There was no obvious way to bypass "Calendar" in favor of "Calendario" when adding the holidays.
So I have two calendars, one with all my data, the other with just the holidays. The two sets can merge (overlay) just fine on Outlook, but I can't figure out whether this is possible on the iPhone. It seems I can only set one default calendar on the device. It would be helpful to just be able to delete "Calendar" altogether, but Outlook doesn't let me do this.
Is there a way to merge these two calendars so I can see them together on my iPhone, or to delete "Calendar" and just put all the holidays on "Calendario"? Thanks.

• How can i sync my calendar in Outlook 2007 with iTunes 11.1.3.8 WITHOUT using iCloud?

How can i sync my calendar in Outlook 2007 with iTunes 11.1.3.8 WITHOUT using iCloud?

your link shows how to sync, i know how to do that.
i specifically wanted to sync my outlook calendar with my phone, not my outlook calendar with icloud calendar.
apparently you have to go into setup on phone and tell phone not to sync calendars with icloud so you can get choice to sync phone via itunes.
thanks anyways for trying.

One option is to share your iCloud calendars if all your devices are connected to iCloud and you are syncing your calendars with iCloud (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2690). (You would need to be running OS X Lion on your iMac to sync with iCloud.)

• How can I sync my calendar in outlook with newest version of iTunes?

I sync my iPhone with iCloud (iCal) for my mac at home, but my work calendar is in Outlook. In the older version of iTunes I could synch with Outlook manually. The newest version does not list that as an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi, try switching off icloud calendar and contact tabs in settings>mail, calendars on the iphone, make sure you are connected to itunes it will then let you tick syc with outlook were previously it showed (outlook will syc over air)
Hope this helps

• How can I sync Google Calendar with my E75?

This is driving me insane. I've searched and searched and searched the web for a way to sync my E75 unlocked phone with Google Calendar. 90% of the threads and comments Google digs up simply say, "It doesn't work." Some people seem to have manged to get it to work with some very minor variations on the following directions:
1. On the E75, press the Menu key.
2. Select Email.
3. Remove the Mail for Exchange mailbox (if it currently exists).
4. Select New from the home screen of the Email application.
5. Press Start.
6. Enter a fictitious email addres that you know does not exist.
7. Press OK.
8. Enter a fictitious password for the fictitious email address.
9. Press OK.
10. Select Mail for Exchange.
11. Type in your Gmail username/email address.
12. Press OK.
13. Leave the Domain blank.
14. Press OK.
15. Type: m.google.com
16. Press OK twice.
17. Type in your Gmail password.
18. Press Log in.
19. Go to the home screen of the Email application.
20. Select Settings.
21. Select Personal information management.
22. Select Applications.
23. Select Calendar.
24. Select Calendar sync (this will enable calendar).
25. Go to the home screen of the Email application.
26. Select Settings.
27. Select Mail for Exchange.
28. Select What to sync.
29. Select Sync email (this will disable email).
30. Select Back three times.
31. Press Options.
32. Select Synchronize.
My problem is that my E75 Mail app doesn't have the Mail for Exchange option described in step 10. The rest of the procedure just goes down the tube at that point. After a great deal of research, I'm left with the impression that either something is wrong with my phone or these directions are out of date. Has anyone had recent experience configuring the E75 to work with Google Calendar either through MfE or through another (free) app?

Hi there,
didn't read your complete rant, it's clear you've disappointed by substandard product and/or mismatching expectations, I on the other hand have had a exceptional good experience with my N95. It's reaching old age now, so I can't wait for the N900. However I do see Nokia has a challenge to overcome, well two actually. Yes you're right they're trying too hard to create some Nokia-bounded platforms, instead of facillitating the connectivity between platforms. Recently saw some intresting concepts in the beta apps, but they require a similar nokia app on the other side. Well I'm very sorry Nokia, nowadays I don't even know the number of the person I'll be calling, do you really believe I know (or want you to tell me = $$?) who of my contacts has this app enabled? With some good will and some fantasy I could say it's a part of brandpositioning and solidifing (or some other fancy BS ;-) ). Nokia however also seems to have an issue with postdevelopment integration and streamlining of their apps. Developing apps as more or less seperate entities might seem a sensible develment strategy and it probably is when combined with good (read efficient and thus "cheap") projectmanagement. If a contact has a birthday mentioned in contacts, don't you think I would want to see that in my calendar? If I try to be smart, I give the input myself, but then what happens? When syncing I get 2 birthdays is my outlook calendar ;-( Similar ennoying feat happens with GPS locations, I´m using serach address, use contactlist. Have a guess where I´d like the coordinates to go to when saved....no it´s not a new and seperate entry in favourites which in turn is read by the address book, these things should have seamless integration. User experience and ultimately satisfaction cannot be achieved by solely developing series of new and improved functionalities, cause to us, the consumer it´s not primarily a functionality. It´s actually a person, either in direct communication or otherwise stored for future communication. As a producer of these communication devices Nokia should show they understand this, preferably through their products. Regarding your issue syncing with Google Calendar, I'm assuming you're already using the calendar. Why not download the Google apps app? Or if you only want the calendar, take the standalone calendar app, Basically you'll have a mobilized calendar view with most of the functionalities there. Can't be online indefinetly? Just save the page locally, nothing you can't handle ;-) The solutions with either MfE reconfig or syncing with outllook/windows calendar in the middle are feasible too, however you do need to be carefull when setting direction and/or dominance of the sync relation. Multipoint syncing can become a severe headache if you haven't set it up proparly..... I've also included a google info mail, they send me some time ago. Loads of info&links, I'm sure there's a solution there which will fit your needs

• I can't sync 515 calendar with Outlook

The Nokia 515 is one of the simplest phones on the market, but the most complex to use.
I would like to be able to see my Calendar on my iPad, 515 and Laptop. Vodaphoe support told me that I could only synchronise the phone with a Microsoft Exchange account and I didn't have they suggested I set up an Outlook.com account.
This kind of worked at first. Items added to my calendar on Outlook.com would appear on the phone, but not vice versa. After a bit of fiddling I could see calendar entries in.
The present situation is that some entries created in Outlook 2013 appear in Outlook.com. The other entries I created today only appear on Outlook 2013 and at the bottom of the screen it says that ALL FOLDERS ARE UP TO DATE (Outllook's capitals, not mine). No they aren't!
Does anyone know how to force Outlook 2013 and Outlook.com to synchronise? I'm fed up with entering every calendar entry twice.

Since I downloaded Mavericks on my Mac I can't sync calendars with iphone. How can I sync iphone calendars with Mac calendar?

Mavericks syncs Calendar via iCloud.
Make sure you have the same iCloud account set up on your mac and your iPhone.
In System Preferences > iCloud, make sure the Calendars checkbox is checked.
In System Preferences > Internet Accounts, iCloud should be an account in the box on the left, and Calendars should be checked in the box on the right. If you have other calendars, for example, from work, make sure those are enabled too.
Check the same settings on your iPhone: in Settings > iCloud, make sure the same iCloud account info is present and that the Calendars slider is on. in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, make sure the iCloud account is present, and that the Calendars slider is on.

• How do I sync iphone 4 with outlook 2013 ?

How do I sync iphone 4s with outlook 2013?

Synchronization of calendars between Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 and your Apple iPhone or iPod touch requires Apple iTunes. You can configure which items are synchronized during a one-time set up process. Good luck with your Mac!
After the initial setup, each time that you connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, the changes made on your computer or device are synchronized.
Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer using the cable provided with your device or by placing the iPhone or iPod touch in the Apple Universal Dock.
iTunes opens automatically when connected to your computer.
