How can I sync my contacts and calendars through iTunes again?

Since I upgraded to 2.0.1 I used to sync my iPhone over the air. Now that I'm going abroad I'd like to sync through iTunes again, to avoid high roaming costs. But I can't find a way to tell iTunes to sync calendars and contacts again. It tells me that these data are synced over the air and there is no checkbox or preference setting to change this...

Is this with a MobileMe account?
If so, you need to turn off syncing over the air for contact information, calendar events, and bookmarks via your MobileMe account settings on your iPhone.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select your MobileMe account.
Turn Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks Off.

I don't mean to sound silly, but after you checked to sync the info, did you do a sync?
you do have the option to sync between devices via iCloud. however you may wish to back up the info if you can because iCloud ate all my contacts.
Another more tedious way is to e-mail your contacts, one at a time, and open the e-mail on your iPad and computer and save it.

I recently added a macbook pro, ipad and imac to my work accounts and I'd like to be able to sync all of them together. I believe the POP server that my company is using (small start-up) does not support this. Basically, if I read email on the laptop, it does not show as read on the imac or my iphone. If I send a message from one, it does not show up on the other devices.
I figure there has to be a solution - it's driving me crazy basically having email in 3 different locations and none of it matches.

I have found that syncing my contacts then un-syncing them results in my current contacts retaining all the info and picture from Facebook. I just don't have the Facebook updates, which I'm happier about anyway.

How do I sync outlook contacts and calendar without deleting apps?

I have a second iPad. I wish to sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with my second iPad, however, upon doing so, I am prompted that I will be deleting the apps on the second iPad, which I suffered through yesterday (twice). Ideas on how to get around this? I am wondering how iTunes is not differentiating between the two iPads.

Can you tell us a little bit more about your configuration? Are you using Exchange? Are you currently run Outlook for Mac (Office 2011) on your MacBook Pro? Or are you looking to migrate data from a PC to Outlook for Mac on your MacBook Pro?

After disabeling and enabeling the option automatic sync iPods, iPhones and iPad in iTunes (settings > devices), my iPhone 4 is only syncing manually and not automatically as before the option change.
With manually sync I mean connecting the usb cable and pushing the synchronisation button in iTunes. I reinstalled Outlook (Office 2010 32bit) and iTunes but it did not solve the problem and it's still only manually syncing. I also renewed the Windows Profile. Is there an option I missed in iTunes or Outlook? In Outlook is the iTunes Outlook Addin present and enabled....
How can I solve this problem?

Do you have sync contacts and sync calendar events with Outlook selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
If not and your Outlook address book and calendar are empty, before selecting this and the first sync for this data, enter one contact and one calendar event in Outlook. This should provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select.

When I connect my ipod to my system I get the following. "No calendars are available on this computer. Calendars in iCloud cannot be aynced to this iPod."
I'm not trying to sync to iCloud, just my computer. Is there any way around this?

Ok.
Open System Preferences, Apple Logo icon in the menu bar and then System Preferences or the Sys Pref iocon in the Dock and go to the Internet Accounts area and look at your iCloud account. It should list what is and isn't synced by a checkmark next to each item.
Also in the Contacts app click on Contacts in the menu bar and select Preferences then accounts and make sure your iCloud account is listed. You can also do that from the Internet Accounts area in System Preferences.

Apparently Sync Manager is turned off for syncing my contacts and calendar to using Blackberry Desktop Software - how can I switch it ON?

I upgraded to Mac OS 10.9 a few months ago.
Up till then I was happily able to sync mac Contacts and Calendar to my Blackberry Curve 9320 via Blackberry's Desktop Manager (for Mac).
Since upgrading the software tells me to that Mac Sync Manager is turned off. I know it isn't because everything else is syncing.
When I hunt through your support I find that there are solutions for this problem for other Mac OS versions but not for Maverick, so please tell me how I can once again use my business phone happily as I did before upgrading!

How can I get missing contacts, notes, calendar dates and reminders that are just on my old iphone onto the iCloud for transfer to my new iPhone upgrade? Half of my contacts, notes, ect. were on my iCloud so have happily moved to my new iPhone but the rest are completely resistant. For example, on my iCloud I have 14 missing contacts starting with the letter A alone, however they are happily viewable on my old iPhone 4S and won't budge over into the iCloud.
There are also 3 notes missing yet still acessible on my onld iPhone 4S, the list goes on.
Your help would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.
