How can I sync my iphone notes to my ipad?

I purchased a ipad because I enjoyed my iphone so much and wanted something just like it only bigger. How ever when I tryed to sync the ipad to the iphone through itunes my notes were not synced. I would really like to be able to sync the two becouse the phone is with me all the time and I do make notes on it but in meetings I like to have the ipad for easer reading. How can I get the two to sync. Keep in mind I am an idiot.

I highly recommend Evernote for situations like this. its a free universal(works on all iOS devices) app in the App Store and is free to sign up for. it then will wirelessly sync any notes you enter into Evernote to all iOS devices that you have Evernote. so
1. download Evernote on both the iPad and iPhone
2. create Evernote account
3. login to Evernote on both iPad and iPhone
4. on iPhone, copy your notes into Evernote
5. check Evernote on iPad and all your notes should have synced

Notes in your iPhone "Notes" app? Do you have the same iCloud account signed onto both devices? If so, go to Settings>iCloud and turn on the "Notes" option.

James, I do have an iCloud account and everything is checked. So I did what Winston Churchill suggested and unchecked and rechecked the notes setting and made sure it is set up to go into the iCloud. Seems to be working. Thank you both.

I noticed the other day that my iphone notes had been synced to my work email, which I do not want. I want my notes to sync to my ipad, but not to my email accounts. How do I turn off the notes sync only for Outlook?

Hello again and sorry to bother you. I was hoping you could help me with iTunes 10.5. This update has been a pain. When I first installed it, my entire library was gone. Luckily, I saved the "iTunes Library" file before updating and copied it in place and my library appeared. But now the problem I'm having is that the iTunes can't find any of the "original" files, even though my iTunes Media file location has not changed (it's on an external network drive". When I click on the "Do you want to find the original file" I can find it in the appropriate folder. I checked the "Preferences" and under "Advanced" I re-mapped it to the appropriate location and already had the 2 boxes for iTunes organizing files checked. Then went to "File" and "Organize Library" and clicked the first check box and then got the "Copying Files" bar. When this was completed, I thought it would be able to find the original files. But I'm still getting the same error message about not being able to find the "original" files. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks again for your help.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.
