How can I sync specific photos from folders instead of syncing the whole folder to my iPad?(1 gen)

So I recently synced a few folders from my PC to my iPad 1 and there was a few photos I did not want on my iPad, so when I tapped the photo, the trash button wasn't there. I looked up why that was happening and discovered it was because synced photos can't be deleted from the photo library. So I ask my question, how can I sync specific photos from folders instead of the whole folder? from iTunes to my iPad. If there is not a way for me to sync specific photos from folders, how can I delete the photos I don't want from my iPad?

As King_Penguin has already explained, this isn't possible with the stock Photos app.
As far as photo syncing is concerned, I also recommend PhotoSync, which is an excellent photo (and video!) synchronization tool, should you want to stick with the stock Photos app on the iPad. Should you want something better (Photos is a pretty limited app without sorting, EXIF displaying etc. capabilities and with HUGE storage usage), you'll need to take a look at third-party apps. I too recommend Photo Manager Pro, it's IMHO the best tool. This workflow may do what you want:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new library.
2 - connect the iPad to your Mac with the new library open.
3 - import all of the photos from the iPad into the new library.
4 - select the option to delete all of the photos from the iPad.
5 - disconnect the iPad and delete the new library.
6 - launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and select your original library.
7 - assemble the photos destined for the iPad so you can easily identify them by album or event which you alread have done.
8 - launch iTunes and connect the iPad to your Mac.
9 - go to the photos section for you iPad and synce those particular albums or Events with the iPad.
That will get those specific iPad photos back into the iPad.

ADF: how can client pick up photos from cache instead of calling servlet

I have a jspx whose page definition has a viewobject exposing photo ids. I want to display those photos using af:panelForm. The panelForm has navigation buttons, first, previous, next and last. In the panelForm, i use af:objectImage component whose source attribute gets its value from an image rendering servlet to whom we pass viewobject's ImageId bound attribute. Given the passed in ImageId, servlet would then fetch the photo blob from database and streams it back to requesting client.
As I press navigation buttons to view photos, I notice photos are being cached in the client browser. However, if I keep navigating between same previously viewed photos, I was expecting the cached photos to be picked from browser cache instead of calling the servlet over and over to display the same previously viewed photos. However, cached photos dont seem to be taken advantage of and they are not picked and the servlet is always getting called. I want to not have the servlet called for previously viewed photos and instead cached photos to be used so images can be displayed faster and faster otherwise servlet will always go to database and fetch same blobs and render them which is expensive.
After lots of investigation, it seems that pressing any of the navigation buttons results in a submit of the form and on submit of the form, cached photos don't get picked. what should i do with those buttons so they don't perform submit and so that cached photos get picked without bothering the servlet ?
Please help.

there is no API available to read from the browser cache. The way the browser cache works is that it retrieves the content itself if a image is referenced by a known URL. If the servlet streams an image then cache usage is not an option at all. If the servlet returns an image URL to a static image then it should do

You can't. iCloud is not for general file backup from a Mac. It's for backup up and syncing data between mobile devices and and Macs and The following is from this Apple document: iCloud: Backup and restore overview.

Do you mean you want to import a photo to the organizer? It's easier if you put the photo where you want to keep it before importing, but just go to File>Get Photos>From Files and Folders and import it. If you move it after importing you must move it in folder view in the origanizer.
If you just want to edit the photo, there's no need to import it. Just go to File>Open in the editor.

You cannot, unless they were there at last backup. You can try restoring from backup, losing anything done since the last sync.
