How can I take folder pictures off my mother's iPad?
My mother has an iPad 2 and I sent her up with folders on my Dad's computer so we could file grandkids' pictures and then sync them to the iPad. Everything was fine until my Dad deleted the folder of pictures from his computer (don't ask!). Now, when I sync the iPad, the pictures don't sync back to the computer. When I open the iPad as a hard drive and look in the photo file, there is nothing there but Camera Roll photos. What can I do to retrieve my Mom's pictures? She's ready to divorce my Dad over this!
I'm assuming there is no backup of the computer files. Is the computer a Mac or PC? The photo files are still on the computer's hard drive, but since they were deleted the Finder can't find them. You need to use a file recovery program like DataRescue http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10259/data-rescue
Another important point. You need to quit using the computer until you run the file recovery program, since if you save new files the area of the hard drive where the photos are will be overwritten. The photos are gone unless you use a file recovery program. There are companies that do data recovery, but it's usually expensive.

Taking better pictures on an HX9v isn't something you can just 'do'. It takes learning and creativity.
Understanding how the camera works, and having a good imagination to use it.
Look at phone cameras for example, amazing photos.
If you're talking about image quality, that is, less noise, crisp sharp photos, etc, compact cameras in general just won't match the DSLR.
If you're talking about photos that look stunning, again, learn how to use the camera, and be imaginative (creative)

One thing I'm definitely lacking on there is composition, and that's something you can learn on YouTube - compositions in a photo is very important when you're first starting out.
Put your 9v onto M (manual) mode, and try out the different things - learn how the camera works, think about what you want to shoot, and then do it.

Pictures on an iPod are stored in a special format, optimized for the iPod's small lower resolution screen, to save storage space. iTunes puts them into that format when syncing. There is setting in iTunes, on the iPod's Photos screen (where you set up syncing of photos) for Include full resolution photos. If that checkbox was checked when you synced the photos to the iPod, THEN you can Enable disk use and find those photo files on the iPod in the Photos folder.
Otherwise, you cannot get your photos back, using iTunes. There may be third-party utilities that can extract individual photos from the iPod, but they will still be lower-resolution versions of the original photo. -

#Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box).
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
This will retain your bookmarks, customizations etc., so that if you reinstall Firefox at a later date, these will become available to you again. If you don't want to retain that data, checkmark the box mentioned in step #1 -

Have them delete the iCloud account (your email address) on their devices then let them create their own iCloud account -> http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4436. If all of you are syncing contacts and calendars on the same iCloud account, they have to re-organise those stuffs once they have their own iCloud account. When you delete an iCloud account, it normally asks what would you do for the synced information - keep it on the iOS device or delete. If they choose to keep the synced information (e.g. Contacts and Calendars), they have to delete those thare aren't theirs or they can start from scratch by deleting the synced information from the iOS device. SHIFT COMMAND 3 captures the entire screen
SHIFT COMMAND 4 brings up a cropping cursor to let you select a portion of the screen

I Recently went to a cave while on vacation in Germany and was bumped into which caused my iPhone 4S to fall out of my hands. When it fell it fail over the railing and slid down a little bit of the cave floor. when I retrieved it my camera app (which had been open when the phone was dropped) was Like bleeding down my screen in a way it was just like showing the bottom part where you click to take the picture over and over again. My phone screen no longer works but I CAN still hear the sound when I take a screenshot. Other than that my phone does nothing. i currently have it in a bag of rice because it is a possibility it got a little wet but not likely. My phone does have a password on it. I really only have an interest in saving my pictures if I can save my phone that would be great but if not then oh well. I have an iPhone 4S

OK...I just figured out!
When I dragged the icon down to my dock, I actually used the one from the volume instead of the one from my applications folder. Therefore it always wanted to open the .dmg file instead of the actual program. I THINK I said that all correctly! Thanks for the help though, you gave me the idea to try something different than I was and I found the solution. -
Ok so my computer crashed and i had to restore my computer to factory settings so i took all my pictures off my computer and put them on my phone well i fixed my computer so now i wanna put the pictures back on my computer is there a way i can do it without having to email each pictures to myself?
The picture sync is ONE-WAY - computer to iphone. Iphone is not a storage device or a backup device.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put the pics back.
When you sync pics from your computer to your iphone they are reduced in resolution. They will never be of the original resolution, but you can e-mail them to yourself. -

You can transfer purchases from your iPhone and iPod touch to your computer and it will put all music, apps, books, and other purchases or downloads made in iTunes onto your computer. Or you can sign into the iTunes Store in iTunes on your computer and go to Purchases > Not on This Computer > Download all for each tab across the top.
If you have any music that was imported from CDs to your Dad's computer, you'll need to import those to your laptop. When you sync your iPhone, it will erase all the music on your iPhone and replace it with the music in your Music Library. If you have all of the music that's on your iPhone on your computer already (by importing CDs and transferring purchases) you won't lose anything.
