How can I teach my server that a specific email address is not spam?

I have 2 clients that are located in China. Their emails periodically get tagged as SPAM although I repeatedly redirect them to [email protected]
Is there way to just tell this beast to trust anything coming from these two addresses?

Mmmm. Sounds like an odd error to get. What log is this? Works OK in 10.4.7. Are you 10.4 or earlier? Anybody know if things are different in 10.3?

The command "spamassassin --lint" will run a check on the local.cf file and flag up any errors. There are (I think) 5 ignorable issues it has with the default file but it will actually list the lines so you can easily see if it has an issue with specific entries. You can run --lint without restarting mail services so the file will not yet be 'live' and can be re-edited without interupting the mail services.
Just-in-case, stop & start mail services using "serveradmin stop/start mail" command (when you want to make changes live) rather than via the Admin button. I think it was Pterobyte that noted that this is safer (due to GUI caches or something).

Even though I have it correctly set in Preferences , i.e. "Use Smart Addresses" is unchecked, the addressee automatically changes to the person's name rather than the email address. I am unable to find a way to display the actual email address option on iMail (Yosemite) I do not want nicknames/short names but want the actual email address to display on my address line. My icloud is linked to my husband's icloud. How can I change it so that my itunes email address shows up and not my husband's? All my apps also go to his phone. None of my pics, or apps were saved on my phone. I think because it has his itunes info.

My husband and I traded phones a week ago. Now I have my phone back. So when I got my # back I tried to recall all my stored data via icloud but nothing except contacts was retrieved. At ATT they said they could tell that I have over 200 photos but we couldn't recover any of them. They said all I had to do was recall them from icloud. But it didn't work. Now my husband says every time I download a new app it also gets it. We share the same itunes account but different icloud accounts. So what can I do? I made an appointment with the genious bar at the Apple Store but I am anxious to try to fix it before my appointment time in 2 more days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
It appears you want to remove his ID from iCloud on your device and add your own back, you can do this at settings > iCloud > Delete account and then sign in again using your Apple ID. By doing this your data should be added back to your device, unless your husband has deleted it when using your ID. Photo stream is a little different.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.
You should also decide whether you want to share your iTunes content with each other. If you do share, you can stop the apps and music etc., that he buys on his device downloading to yours by turning off automatic downloads on your device at settings > iTunes & App Stores.

Thank you for your time Woody. Recently the Mac seems to freeze a lot, seemingly due to a problem with the airport, especially if the computer is inactive for anything more than a few minutes. Then yesterday I suddenly couldn't send or receive messages so I got in touch with my server and they reconfigured the mail account. I can now receive messages but can't send them, always getting a timed out message when I try to send an email. I phoned the server again and they said it must be a problem with Mail as we tried sending a message online from the server's webpage and it worked fine, so they suggested I reinstall Mail. So hence my original question. Sorry for the rambling! I'm not very computer minded.

This is not a hacked account issue. It seems that this a common issue for many... Apple Mail Engineers, Please Do Something!!! With each iteration of Apple's cloud services, the domain changed. i.e., @mac.com, @me.com and now @icloud.com. It seems Apple's original plan or thought was to let you own the account name across all domains. So, [email protected] will also have the option use the newer @me.com and @icloud.com accounts at the same time (why?). With millions of devices being activated around the world, it seems some already established accounts like [email protected] were allowed to be activated as new accounts under [email protected] or [email protected] by other new iCloud users. I'm having the same problem with my email account and my son's email account. In both cases, the second user is based in Europe (we are in the USA). I've set all my devices to strictly use the [email protected] account. In iCloud settings, I see the option to also use the @me.com and @icloud.com addresses. From time to time, I get emails sent to the [email protected] This is very nerve racking because you don't want to get caught with your pants down or feel that someone other than the NSA is watching your email traffic. We can only hope Apple knows about this and has a way to differentiate accounts via another authentication key assigned to each of your devices. Good luck guys.

For your repeating even, I'm assuming this is your Yahoo calendar? that isn't a Firefox issue, I suggest you try to contact yahoo.

You can't access it directly. But your applet can make net connections to the server, and the server can provide that kind of functionality. Generally this is easiest by making HTTP connections and having the server provide the functionality via the web server. (So in your case, JSPs or servlets on the server would list/deliver/create/modify/delete files, and the applets would invoke those JSPs and servlets.

i have often logged and didn't noticed that i have encoded my password as well in the username. now, it keeps remembering that wrong username with that password.

In one of the help pages for managing your Apple ID (http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40), it shows two separate sections, one for Apple ID and one for Primary Email address. When I go to manage my Apple ID, I see only a single section for both. Can the two be 'separated', especially when you face the situation of having to discontinue your email address for some reason?
I also noticed that when navigating to Apple ID Support Communities, it shows my nickname 'dishdy'. How and when did I insert this? In the current sequence for creating an Apple ID I don't see this. In my current profile I don't see this.
In any case, I have freed myself from my previous Apple ID (@artemis.it) on my iPhone.

Unfortunately, you can not do that. The family account and oppotunity to covert an alias to a new separate account were features of MobileMe. Since iCloud launched, there is no family account anymore and you can not convert an email alias to become a new iCloud account.
If you want to create a new account for your wife, then follow these steps:
Mac (Lion + Mountain Lion): System Preferences > Mali, Contacts, Calandars > + to add a new account > iCloud
iPhone/iPad (iOS 5): Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account... > iCloud

Is it possible to create a distribution list that allows you to select all possible email addresses for each contact within a group? I am running into the problem that I can only select one email address for each contact, but need multiple. How can this email list be generated using the Contacts app and Mail?

You can't with the way it currently works.
I've never tried, but you might try multiple groups, each with a different email selected.
I think I created an Applescript that would grab every address of every selected person and address an email. It is probably buried in the bowels of these forums.
