If you use a text editor on a web page then you need to look in the toolbar above that text editor's input text area to see if there is a button to apply styles to selected text, like the B and I on this forum.

How can I stop Firefox from blocking sites that do not supply ownership information?

I am trying to access a website and I get a 400 Bad Request message. Further "research" leads to the "This website does not supply ownership information" message. I have cleared history and cookies, reloaded the page and followed all the answers given in relevant support pages but nothing works. All other browsers allow me to see the page, but I do not want to keep switching to chrome or IE. There must be a security setting somewhere that must be switched off. I find it extremely annoying to be saddled with settings I have not asked for, have no information on have no way to control. This is what Microsoft does and why I use Mozilla.

It would help if you could provide the address for an example of such a site so others may check it. Give as an example something publicly accessible and not needing registration.

Have you tried clearing site cookies, reloading using Ctrl+F5 and maybe clearing the Firefox cache.

How do I make Firefox Google Search text that is not a website when drag and dropped to a new tab or existing one

Exactly what the title says. Firefox did this before updating to 5 if I'm not mistaking. I want Firefox to Google search text when I drag it to the tabs bar (when an arrow pointing in between tabs appears). From there a new tab with the Google search should appear normally.

Title and description may be clear to you it is certainly not clear to me.
If I drag "title and description" which is not a url and try to create a new tab with it nothing will happen. I can drag that text to the the search bar and do a search.
If I grabbed a url which was text not shown as a link I can drag to the location bar, the new tab button, to a tab, between two tabs and that is all legitimate.

I cant see that you have lost what it sounds like you had because I don't think you would have generated a search in that manner. You can certainly drag something like a sentence to the search bar, so even if you were the only one that could do start a search by dragging text you can still drag it to the search bar.

How can I install Firefox on a server that does not have an internet connection?

I run Firefox on a server to display graphs for a program. I was able to save, upload and install Firefox version 21 on my server because it used the executable installation program. Versions 22 and 23 use a stub program that goes to the internet and installs the program. My server does not have an internet connection, so the stub program does not work. Can I get a copy of the executable program that installs the program without having an internet connection?

Were you using either of these add-ons that let you set a default zoom level for all sites? If so, check to see whether it was disabled during the upgrade. Or if this is a completely new installation, you might want to grab the add-on again.

How can I control in a short text that the value entered is Email type

I would like to add an Email in the Account object. In the OCOD standard, there is no Email field. I created a short text field to manage my need. I would like to add a validation rule to control that the value entered is an Email.
Is it possible to do it?

I assume you just need to make sure the email address entered is well formed and not that you are trying to make sure that the email address actually exists on the Web.
I've had a similar issue in the past and the first finding was that there is not one single standard for email address syntax. For instance, some systems would accept the underscore character, others wouldn't.
As a result, development languages and systems don't have a built-in function for this purpose. You'll have to write your own checking test, considering the following rules:
- there must be one and only one @ character
- the @ must not be leading or trailing
- there must be one and only one dot after the @, but not right after
- other characters should only be basic letters (a..z), digits (0..9) and dash. This one is the loosest rule, where you'll find exceptions to manage (such as the underscore character)
Not much easy to program in a workflow rule, I admit!

ok, I hope that my description of this problem does not come out in such a disorganized fashion that it makes the description difficult to follow. here goes: every 30 seconds to 1 minute (or thereabouts, I'm estimating) my mobile phone's browser (whether Firefox or any other) loses the data signal, so that tje next time that. I click on something, I get an error message that the "data connection timed out, retry" or "network unavailable" or "check that you are connected to that internet", etc. etc. etc. I have downloaded many apps that are supposed to boost data connectivity and/or improve internet speed, blah, blah, blah, till I discovered that was a problem with the server being able to keep up with staying locked onto my browser. in one of these apps diagnostic screens, I found a notation that therr was something wrong with my cell's relative position. well, how could that be, I wondered, since I had "GPS tracking" "GPS reporting" and "location sharing" all enabled? but, then I noticed, on the image of my cell's location as represented by this particular app, that every half minute, or so, the blue dot which represented my cell's location would slip to the left about one quarter of an inch, or so, and in the longitude and latitude part of this app's diagnostic screen I saw that the numerical designations of my cell's longitude and latitude were zero and zero. it suddenly occurred to me that the server had lost sight of my cell because my cell had moved too far out of the range of that server's sight due to the rotation of the earth. well, blow me down, what am I supposed to do to fix that? how can I tell my cell phone's OS to send out some kind of identifying info on a constant basis, so that the server could keep track of it (and I would not lose the signal)? or, conversely, how could I get my cell phone's browser to grab onto the signal and not let go of it until I was done with that internet session, at which time I would then manually release the signal myself? I'm afraid I don't think there is going to be much we can do to help you here. The description sounds like an issue with the phone rather than with Firefox specifically.
I don't think the problem can be caused by you moving out of range of the cell, due to the rotation of the earth. The cell towers (that provide phone signal) are sitting on the earth, just like you, and so move at the same speed as you. This might be a concern with satellite phones using Low Earth Obit satellites but this isn't the case here.
I think the best thing to do would be to get in touch with your Phone Operator or Device Manufacturer for support. If you are out of the support period or can't get support from them for some other reason then a standard 'cure-all' for mobile phones is to do a Factory Reset. This will return your phone to its default factory settings and wipe all of your data / modifications off the phone. This tends to solve most problems and is probably what the official support team would tell you to do. I can't guarantee that it will help but it has a good chance.
