Could you help me?. I need to number a book with Indesing CS5.
I mean, I have differents documents und I want to mix in a book. With the previus I can number all the book and that's ok, but with the new version CS5 I can't.
I 've been following the manual's instructions but there's not result. The pages don't change the number und they are individually numbered.
I think thay maybe that's is a problem with the version. Has anyonte the same difficulty?

Finally, we found the issue. It was a probleme with the install, because we kept the "prioritys" ("preferencias" in Spanish, I don't know the real name in informatic language) of the previous version. We deleyed the application's "prioritys" and that's ok.

I do not know the iWire adapter, but I use an inexpensive ($3) DVI to HDMI adapter from Monoprice, along with a regular HDMI cable:

Be aware that this will only transfer video. You Macbook Pro cannot combine audio through DVI to HDMI. You will need to listen to the audio through the Mac speakers, or attach speakers or a sound system to the Mac earphone jack, or determine if your TV has the ability to accept external sound from the Mac while showing video through HDMI (few can).

Adobe Reader on the iPhone is a PDF reading app. It's not a creation app.
You need to get an app like Pages which is intended for page layout. It can place pictures from the phone and export PDF.

How can I export speech analysis text with imbedded timecodes for the creation of subtitle files?

I found a script that allows you to export all your text layers with time codes as a .srt subtitle file. However, instead of multiple text layers, I have only one: essentially the meta data from Premiere speech analysis that with the aid of a different script, is being used at a "subtitle layer". Essentially, I'm trying to use this data to create a .srt file so I can create actual subtitles, not this hybrid animation/text layer.

As I am only using one text layer, it shows me only one continious subtitle in the .srt file. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I should add that I myself am not particularly familiar with scripts or scripting, I'm merely trying all possible solutions to my problem and this seems to be a good approach. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would like to allow guests in my home to use the credit in my iTunes account to purchase movies and TV shows on the Apple TV in my guest room.
Unfortunately, it seems that in order to make a purchase they will need my credit card security code. If they have this, then they could purchase an arbitrary number of movies, but I would like to limit purchases to the credit in the account.
Is there any solution here? How can I give my guests an Apple TV "allowance" (not a monthly allowance, a one-time allowance) and not give them my credit card security code?

Not sure what you are looking for. The iOS address book, Contacts, is used with all comunications apps such as Messages, Mail, FaceTime and the Phone app on an iPhone. Enter your contacts into Contacts including all known info including phone numbers, email addresses, Twitter and Facebook IDs as well as more info.
When you create a new message you can either start typing the address or tap on the button to bring up Contacts. Be aware you can only FaceTime and send Messages to other iOS devices. Other third party apps can expand on the messaging capabilities.

I have just moved from a Windows platform to Imac. On Windows, in Word, I was able to select where the paper was feeding (automatically select, rear tray, etc.) but now I can't select rear tray. I've already tried the "Quality & Media" under presets but was not given an option to change where the paper comes from. Can anybody help?

You need to turn on Printer Sharing on both the PC and OS X. I can't help you on Vista but in OS X it's System Preferences - Sharing - check the Printer Sharing box.

How can I manage 1 iTunes library with 2 computers (not on same network)?

I have 1 very large iTunes library in which I am always adding/deleting/editing songs and 2 computers (1 home, 1 laptop). I would like to be able to manage my library with my laptop when I am away from home but also be able to see any changes I made next time I open iTunes on my home computer. I tried home sharing but this seems to be more for computers on the same network. My library is much too big for iCloud. Someone suggested I hold shift when I open iTunes to select a library but even though I can select the library file I want, it doesn't populate iTunes with my changes (or any music for that matter). This describes a work/home scenario. For home/away use, edit the library directly on the portable backup when away, then sync libraries on your return.

Although it isn't possible to sync an Apple device with two different libraries it is possible to sync with the same logical library from multiple computers. Each library has an internal ID and when iTunes connects to your iPod/iPad/iPhone it compares the local ID with the one the device normally syncs with. If they are the same you can go ahead and sync...
I have my library cloned to a small 1Tb USB drive which I can take between home & work. At either location I use SyncToy 2.1 to update the local copy with the external drive. Mac users should be able to find similar tools. I can open either of the local libraries or the one on the external drive and update the media content of my iPhone. The slight exception is Photos which normally connects to a specific folder on a specific machine, although that can easily be remapped to the current library if you create a "Photos" folder inside the iTunes Media folder so that syncing the iTunes folders keeps this up to date as well. I periodically sweep my library for new files & orphans with iTunes Folder Watch just in case I make changes at one location but then overwrite the library with a newer copy from the other. Again Mac users should be able to find similar tools.
As long as your media is organized within an iTunes Music or Tunes Media folder, in turn held inside the main iTunes folder that has your library files (whether or not you let iTunes keep the media folder organized) each library can access items at the same relative path from the library folder so the library can be at different drives/paths on different machines. This solution ensures I always have adequate backups of my library and I can update my devices whenever I can connect to the same build of iTunes.
When working with an iPhone earlier builds of iTunes would remove any file not physically present in the local library, even if there was an entry for it, making manual management practically redundant on the iPhone. This behavior has been changed but it will still only permit manual management with a library that has the correct internal ID. If you don't want to sync your library between machines on a regular basis just copy the iTunes Library.itl file from the current "home" machine to any other you want to use, then clean out the library entries and import the local content you have on that box.

How can I share my music library with 2 users on the same PC??

I have a home PC with 2 usernames on it. I have had an ipod for a while and have a fairly large library. My wife has just got an ipod and installed itunes under her username, but I can't seem to find a way of sharing my library between the 2. The 2 usernames both have access to exactly the same hard drive. The only way round it I've found is for my wife to login under my username. Can anyone help?!?

You are most of the way there. Each user having access to hard drive is the key. If users are limited in file privileges this is harder.
Any files you add to your library and any files she adds to her library are available to the other. Just not automatically. Each user must add the files to their own library using the add file or add folder option from menu bar.
What I have done is set library location to a location outside of My Documents\My Music. On my network storage I have a folder names s:\itunes. Both accounts iTunes are set to use this location for the library.
