How can I transfer a 18 minute video I recorded on my iPad camera app to email/youtube or vimeo? I keep getting the message the file is too long do want to send clips?
    Thanks

Youtube usually had an 8 minute length cap, which may be part of your issue. Also at 18 minutes that is probably a gig+ file size, which will also take a long time to upload and may be another part of the issue.
Edit it down as jim suggested. Or you may need to use something like dropbox, to get it off your ipad and onto a computer where might have more options to edit it down or size it down.
If it's just file size you can transcode it into a smaller file - a lower quality MP4 for example. If it's the length that's an issue for youtube, you'll need to break it up into a couple different files and upload part 1 and part 2

How can I transfer my pictures and videos from Zenfolio?

If you have a copy of the photos that are in zenfolio on your computer, then you can upload them from there to revel. If you do not have other copies, then you will need to download the files from zenfolio to your hard drive and then upload them to revel. There is not  an interface between zenfolio and revel to do this directly.
Here is information on uploading to revel:

  • How do I transfer my pictures and videos from my iPhone and IPad on the time capsule?

How do I transfer my pictures and videos from my Iphone and IPad onto my time capsule?

You cannot use Apple TV.. again the TC is not a media device and has no media extensions.
You can store video files on the TC.. but the ATV must work either via airplay so you run the video on an ipad for instance and send the screen view to the apple tv or you have itunes running on a computer.
BTW a WD live TV can play video files from a TC.. because it is a true media player.. the Apple TV is not a media player.. it is a streamer.

How can I transfer a book from my flash drive to my iPad 3

Via you computer - the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app on the iPad, it won't copy other content. Can you not copy it from the drive to your computer and then sync it to the iPad or email it to yourself ?

  • HT2729 how can i transfer hindi songs from laptop (window ultimate) to new ipad ? pl. help

how can i transfer hindi songs from laptop (window ultimate) to new ipad ? pl. help

If you haven't already done so then download and install iTunes : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Add the songs into your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library
Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Music - if you select that tab you can then select which of your iTunes music to sync to the iPad (it should sync to the Music app on the iPad).

  • How can I transfer music 8(or video) from my 5th Generation iPod to Itunes?

I have a 80GB iPod (Fifth Generation), and I have TONS AND TONES OF MUSIC!!! That I'd like to share with friends, or burn to use in other ocasions--- the thing is that it's not purchased MP3, most of it couldn't be at store... you know, exotic music, ok? And I don't get yet how th sync with iTunes works!!! I don't want to have 10 GB of music in my PC, that was the reason I bought iPod!!! SO if anyone can tell how can I transfer to iTunes from iPod, or sync them without erasing the contents from iPod

"I have TONS AND TONES OF MUSIC!!! That I'd like to share with friends"
There's a good reason why Apple did not make it possible to transfer music from iPods using iTunes (other than purchased music to an authorized computer).
The clue is in your post. : )

  • How can I transfer document ie word and exel files between my iPad and my laptop

How can I transfer files ie Word and Exel between my iPad and my laptop.

It depends on what app(s) that you are using on your iPad that you want to transfer the documents between - without and app the documents cannot be saved (apart from as email attachments), as unlike 'normal' computers the iPad doesn't have a file system and files/documents have to be stored/associated with an app. Once you've got an app then, depending on what it is, transfer might be done via the file sharing section at the bottom of the iPad's apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, via wifi, email attachments, Dropbox etc.
Documents To Go supports (http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/documents-to-go-office-suite/id317117961?mt=8) supports both Word and Excel files and how to transfer to/from it is described on this page http://support.dataviz.com/support.srch?docid=14497&pid=198

  • How can I transfer my photos and videos from the iphone to my computer?

I have had my iphone since fall 2010 and I have transferred photos to my computer from my iphone only once. Now I want to transfer my videos and photos but I can remember how I did the last time and I can remember where the instructions are or how I learned to do it. Any help out there? The iphone manual is useless. The Apple help site is useless.

Jim VanLeeuwen has already given you the answer, but (for your future reference), when I saw your comment -- on an RSS feed -- that "The Apple help site is useless" I went to the Support pages and in the search box at the top, entered, "transfer photos from iPhone to Mac".  The top result was the one Jim VanLeeuwen offers.

  • How can I transfer my photos and videos from Palm Treo 750 to iMac OS X 10.9.5?

My old Palm Treo 750 which does not have any service has very special photos and videos I would like to put on my iMac OS X 10.9.5. I plugged the phone into the USB adapter and the phone is not recognized. Can anyone give me direction?

Your phone is in recovery mode. You won't be able to get anything off of it until you get it out of recovery mode. Try this:
    http://jaxov.com/2010/05/recboot-iphone-recovery-mode/
If that doesn't work, you have no choice but to restore the phone. But, you'll lose all data on the phone going that route.

  • How can I transfer and store data from my PC on the ipad without using icloud

I am a new user having received the iPad air/2 from my family as an 80th birthday gift. (at my request).
At this stage my principal usage is to transfer photos for PC to show family when visiting. I tried iTunes but it caused many problems with my PC, so I un-installed it. I found an ap which did the job simply and easily via wi fi transfer.
My other main usage is to be able to play my music transferred from my PC to the ipad and held in it's memory so that it can be used even when off line.
In other words iCloud doesn't seem to be able to do this.
I sent myself a song via an email, downloaded it on to the ipad, listened to it, then closed the email.
I cannot now find where that song has got to to retrieve... ipad search says it can't find it.
Basically I want to transfer a folder of music into the ipad and play them back at will.
    Can anyone help me?
Sorry to be so longwinded.. cheers Ted
My PC runs Windows 7 64 bit.
iPad is IOS8 I believe with 64 GB memory.

You shouldn't be worrying about 'hackers'. Apple have good security & so long as you pick good passwords the data should be safe.
There are parts of using iOS & iTunes that requires an Apple ID & iCloud, however you can disable many of the feature you do not need, and avoid syncing any files into iCloud. It can be annoying, but a lot of the services help to make backups easy.
You may want to visit into an Apple store if you are near one, they may try to sell you on the benefits of iCloud (it's kind of their job), but they may also be able to help you get the iPad under control. See if you can get the PC setup with iTunes, that is probably where you need to start.
    Good luck with it

is it possible to upload films from my laptop to my ipad (via itunes) without having to buy/download them from the istore?

Just drag the videos into the iTunes window or choose File > Add to Library, locate a file or folder, and click Open.
The video has to be in a format that is compatiple with iTunes. If you wish to add it to your iPad it needs to be in an iPad compatible format also.
All mobile devices which iTunes can sync video to can play the following video formats:
    H.264

Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 kbits/sec, 48 Khz, stereo audio.
    iTunes:
Video content purchased from the iTunes Store.
QuickTime and MPEG-4 movie files that end in ".mov", ".m4v", or ".mp4" and are playable in QuickTime Player.
    Video podcasts.
    iTunes Digital Copies.
iTunes Store Movie Rentals (Requires iTunes 9 or later).
    Mobile Devices:
Video content purchased from the iTunes Store.
Videos that have been shared to iTunes using QuickTime Player (Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard).
Videos that have been re-encoded for iPod with QuickTime 7 Pro.
Videos that have been re-encoded for iPod with iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and others. Refer to Exporting a movie from iMovie HD to iPod for an iMovie HD tutorial.
Video Podcasts that have been created for mobile devices.
Video files after using the iTunes File > Create New Version > Create iPod or iPhone version option.
Video files after using the iTunes File > Create New Version > Create iPad or AppleTV version option (iPad and AppleTV only).
