All of your apps should be on your computer.
Just sync them to the new device.
You can also redownload
Download past purchases - Apple Support
Not all apps are compatible with both iphone/ipod and ipad.  Some are universal.

If you want app data to transfer you have to restore the iPod from the backup of the iPod. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup. Also see:

  • How can I transfer apps from one iTunes library to another?

How can I transfer apps from one iTunes library to another? My daughter has an iTouch, and I was managing it through my library. I have created an iTunes account for her, with a new iTouch, and would like to move the apps over. I tried to sync the old iTouch to the new library and it said it was already set up to sync with a different library. What is the best way to do this?

You can transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
To make the new computer the syncing computer you have to:
    - Transfer iTunes purchases lIke I described above
    - Make a backup of the iPod on that computer by connecting the iPod and then right-clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.
    - Restore the iPOd from that backup
She will have to continue to use your iTunes ID to update the apps prchased with your account. To use her account she will have to log into the computer with her account (iTunes>Store) and change the sign in on the iPod by going to Settings>Store.

how can we transfer games from ipod 4 to a different ipod 4??

Follow the instructions here or here; using the first set of instructions then requires syncing the second device with the iTunes library containing the content. If you want to transfer the game data as well, perform a backup and restore.

Sync them via iTunes. All your apps should be backed up in your iTunes Library anyway.

How can I transfer music from my old iPad to my new MacBook ?
My old MacBook was stolen and now I have all my music still on my IPad but like to get it back in my ITunes as well, is this possible ?

If the music was purchased from the iTunes Store, simply sign into your iTunes Store account on iTunes. From there, go to the main page of the store. Then, on the right, there should be a purchased button. Tap there, and walla! You can download all of your past purchases. If it wasn't from the iTunes Store, use a third party Mac app.

You select the photos in iTunes and sync them to the iPad. Do have any idea how to sync the iPad? If not, you can read this.
    iOS: Syncing with iTunes.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1386
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Select the iPad from the sidebar on the left side under Devices. Click on the photos tab in iTunes at the top. Click on the Sync Photos heading. Select the folder from which you want to sync your photos, select the subfolders, events, albums, etc. that you want to sync, click Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.

  • How can i transfer apps from one account to another.?

now i had bought apps with my old account. but when i sync them into my phone i cant update them using my account, i need the old itunes i had. How can i transfer all bought apps onto my new account?

    You can't.
All 3rd party apps - all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account used to purchase/download the apps. DRM cannot be transferred from one account to another.
Why did you get a new iTunes account? Changing your email address alone does not require doing so.

  • Can't transfer apps from iPod touch to iTunes on Pc

I can't seem to be able to copy my ipod apps into my iTunes account. I have made the purchases from my ipod, but I would also like to manage them from iTunes. Also, I have a problem with creating a new gamecenter account. It says i should select the country and 'tap next'. There is not 'next' button, tab or anything else to 'tap'. Any suggestion would be appreciated as long as it doesn't make me lose the apps i paid for. Thanks.

if worst comes to worse, you can always re-download purchased apps (free of charge) in iTunes. see _*How to redownload purchased apps from the App Store*_.
as for game centre, try if [this_|http://www.maclife.com/article/feature/complete_guide_game_centerios] helps.

  • How can I transfer music from iPod to iTunes?

All of the music on my iPod nano is in my ex-husband's iTunes on a Mac. Now have a Windows PC and want to transfer music from iPod to iTunes. Computer says 'Need to Format disk in Drive E'. Will this lose everything? Not sure what the best way is to do everything but haven't got any way of backing up my iPod at present. Thank you!

any itunes purchased music can be transferred from phone to pc via hitting the "transfer purchases" option when u right click on the phone under devices in itunes on the computer when it is plugged in. any non-itunes purchased music is stuck on the phone and cannot be transferred to the computer. u will have to load it onto the computer from the original source or from the old computer.

  • How can I transfer apps from iTunes library from one computer to another?

I have been unsuccessful in transferring my music over to my new MacBook from my PC Windows Vista. I even subscribed to MobileMe, but it wouldn't work! So, I have decided to take the time to copy all my music to CDs & do it that way, but how am I going to transfer my apps? If I sync my iPhone with my iTunes library on my MacBook once I have transferred the songs, won't the apps be erased on my phone? Is there a way using MobileMe I could do so? Please please please help.

Do you have access to an external hard drive that you were using for your computer's backup with your PC which has enough storage capacity for your entire iTunes library?
If so, using the external hard drive would be a good way to do this. You would transfer your iTunes named folder in your My Music folder on your PC followed by transferring the iTunes named folder from the external hard drive to the Music folder on your Mac - with iTunes quit when doing so. This will transfer all music, videos, 3rd party apps, playlists, etc. from your PC to your Mac.
If most of your iTunes library includes music purchased from the iTunes store, iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased from the iTunes store from an iPod or iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize your new MacBook with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so.
With your iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
If all 3rd party apps do not transfer from your iPhone to your iTunes library on your Mac, you can re-download purchased apps with iTunes on your MacBook and you won't be charged again as long as you use the same iTunes account that was used to purchase the 3rd party apps.

  • How can I transfer apps from my iPhone to my iPad?

    How can I tad
my apps from my iPhone to my iPad

Download then again in the App Store on the iPad. You will not have to pay for them again as long as you use the same Apple ID.
Bear in mind that unless your iPhone apps are Universal apps, they will appear in their native iPhone size (half size) on the iPad. You will be able to enlarge them to fill the screen but that will double the size of the pixels which reduces resolution, however, they will still work.
You could also transfer them into iTunes and sync them to the iPad, but if you synced with iTunes on a regular basis, I assume that would be something that you would or should already know.
