How can I transfer music I have downloaded myself from my iPad to my iTunes library on my laptop. I cannot access my library and had to start anew one which does not contain non purchased music
I was locked out of my user account on my laptop due to a registry problem. I had another administrator account on the laptop so I am using that now. I could get to the files in the old account and copied them over...... All except the iTunes library. I have a new iTunes library in the new user account but it only contains my purchases, none of the music I downloaded from my own CD,s. Also all my playlists have disappeared. Fortunately, I still have all my library on my iPad and old iPod, but I can't find out how to transfer the music from them to the laptop. I can't back them up onto my laptop either, otherwise everything would be erased from them. I don't know what else has not been transferred over. I think all my apps are there, but none of the audiobooks.

Thanks.What you would have to do is Restore the new iPad mini using the backup for the iPad 2 whether it is on iCloud or stored in iTunes. If you created a new Apple ID for your daughter you will have to change the Store and iCloud logins after in the Settings. The mini can then be customized to it's own settings and apps and will create it's own backup.
Should work, but I have not test this myself but is worth a try. -

How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

The ONLY thing that matters is whether "Find My iPhone" was enabled on the missing device before it was lost/stolen. If it was not enabled, there is nothing that can be done. -

Iif the photos were synced to the iPad they can only be removed by connecting to iTunes on your computer, unselecting the photos folder that you synced to the iPad and then follow that with a sync.
IF the photos are in the camera roll, open the camera roll album, tap the as select button in the upper right corner, tap on each photo that you want to delete in order to select them and then tap the trash can icon. -

The verification lists my card data and address etc. correctly but I need to keep entering the card security number.

Seems to be something to do with a new security check they have put in the system that does not work correctly and support is totally incapable of helping me out.
wth am i gonna do im feed up and on top i have no one to help me been calling itunes for days now im ****** off to the maxxxI've been jumping through the hoops with Apple Support on this issue....first time I called they said I should try updating from IOS 4.0 to 4.1....tried that and the issue still persisted...then I called back to update the ticket and get the next steps...they said that the Bank is rejecting the request for verification and that is why it keeps prompting (which doesn't make sense since the confirmation seems to go through successfully). The rep also contacted the iTunes dept and had them run the verify manually and said the bank rejected it. The next hoop they want me to jump through is calling the bank to verify that the account is in good standing and inquire about the rejected requests. I'm fairly certain the bank account is in good standing....will verify of course....but I find it hard to believe that all the people who have posted here, plus countless others that are experiencing the same issue but haven't, are ALL having banking issues in the last 24hrs...I'm more convinced there is a disconnect on the back end between iTunes and Financial institutions...
I'm not sure I buy in to everything I was told...he also told me he has had several calls on this issue and they were all told to check with their banks. He could not verify that any of his past calls were resolved. Needless to say I'm not 100% believing everything he told me....weak response from Apple support on this issue so far. -

How can I download CS5 to a computer which does not contain an optical drive?
I am considering purchasing a 8GB Ultrabook (Sony or Dell) and was wanting to install Adobe CS5 onto it. I purchased Adobe CS5 suite last year via disc and have only realised Ultrabooks do not have a DVD drive. Is there a way I can install my purchased copy via an Internet download using my registration/security key or do I need to purchase an external DVD RW drive to install the software?

Follow the specific steps to transfer voice memos from iPhone to Mac:
Launch iTunes on your Mac.
Connect your iPhone to a USB port on the Mac using the iPhone's included USB cable. The icon of your iPhone will appear in the left pane of the iTunes window.
Click the "Music" tab at the top of the iTunes window.
Click the "Sync Music" check box to select it.
Click the "Include Voice Memos" check box to select it.
Click "Apply." The voice memos you recorded on your iPhone will transfer to your Mac. They will appear in the "Voice Memos" playlist in iTunes. The voice memos will remain on your iPhone until you delete them using the iPhone. If you delete a voice memo in the iTunes Voice Memos playlist, it will not be deleted from your iPhone.
