How can i transfer my ipod to my new itunes without losing all music

my computer crashed and now all i have is my cousins and i need to know how to convert my music onto her new itunes, hopefully without losing all my music. if thats possible, so there is no way i can go back to my old itunes, her computer is the only itunes i will be able to use. how can i transferr my ipod touch to her computer without losing all data???

Welcome to the discussion,
Create a new user in windows to keep your iTunes library separate and log in. Make sure your new computer is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your phone. Only if you back up your phone manually before syncing, you can restore your phone from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Set up your iTunes account, disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your phone without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.

A few years ago I bought an ipod classic and I downloaded some really great pictures. The ipod was synced with my old desktop which crashed and stopped working completely so I threw it away. I really want to download my new music onto my classic because it has so much free GB but I cant afford to lose my pictures. Is there any way I can copy them onto my PC?

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. The easiest way is to copy the iTunes folder from your old PC to your MB (put it in the Music folder as a subfolder), along with the other valuable data on the old PC. Or restore it from a backup of your old PC. Then authorize iTunes on the MB to the same account you had on the PC. When you sync it will warn you that your content will be deleted, but it will be replaced with the same content from the MB. Before syncing you should also make sure there is at least one entry in iCal and Address book on the MB (assuming you sync to Outlook or equivalent on the PC) to assure that your contacts and calendar entries will move over correctly.
Al alternative that is less effective is to connect the iPhone to the MB without syncing, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes File menu. This willl copy purchases music, videos and apps, but not ripped tracks from the iPhone to the MB.

If the answer to the above question is "yes", FIRST, set up a backup of your new computer before you do anything else so the next time your computer breaks you will not be in the same situation. If you have purchases on your iPod Shuffle that you want to sync back to iTunes, but are under the Apple ID you no longer have access to, you'll need to reset that account information. You can use this link to reset your password.

If that doesn' work or help, you'll need to contact iTunes support and have them walk you through the process of resetting the older account information. Once you know the email and password again, you can authorize your new computer and transfer any purchases from this account back to iTunes.

I just got a brand new laptop and when I connected my ipod and iphone 4 it prompts to syns a delete everything. How can I avoid that. I tried using the manual setting, but once I press apply it asks again to sync and delete all my music. Is there any other way to accomplish this?

That's exactly the way it is designed to work.
When you attempt to sync your iDevice with a new computer/library, iTunes will wipe the contents of the device and replace it with the contents from the library on the new computer.
To avoid losing content, first copy or move the media from your old computer to your new computer. Once this is done, the iDevice can be synced without worrying about iTunes removing the content as it can be synced back.

so here's my story:
I share a computer with another family member (computer 1) and we each have our own iphones with different apple ID's on computer 1. I recently got a new computer though and downloaded itunes onto it (computer 2). I've already started adding music to computer 2 and now I want to move my iphone to computer 2. How can I do that so that I do not lose all my apps? I guess it would be okay to lose the pictures and music because I already have a way to recover those. But I wouldn't mind if anyone has a way to salvage everything. Also, it should be noted that I do not prefer to keep computer 1's library.
Second question: If I were to copy computer 1's library to computer 2, would I be able to keep the existing music from computer 2, or would it just replace the whole library with the copy of computer 1's?
Third question: Computer 2 claims that there is now a backup of my iphone on it, but still won't let me sync the phone. If I were to go ahead and say, "yes, sync the phone and erase the content," would computer 2 allow me to restore the phone or not? (because it's still synced to computer 1)

Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.
