How can i transfer my stuff from ipod to ipad without a computer

Is there anyway possible to transfer directly from ipod touch to ipad?  I don't have acces to a regular computer and have things I need to transfer over.

Hi dsteineke,
With iCloud you don't need to transfer many things because they are available to all devices set up under your iCloud account.
Here is a link that will give you an overview of all of the various content that you can share without syncing:

My new Windows 8 PC doesn't show my old Itunes library.  How can I transfer my songs from IPod 2nd Gen to new PC?

Right click on your device in the device list and choose "transfer purchses" to copy all music bought in iTunes to your new iTunes library.
For all other media you'll have to use 3rd party software, examples are mentioned in this thread:

  • How can I transfer my music from ipod nano to iphone?

    hi,
i'm seriously considering buying an iphone. but before i do, i just have a couple of questions:
    1. How can I transfer my music from ipod nano to iphone?
    2. Will there be an iphone with higher memory capacity than 16gb? If so, when will it be out. (If there will be memory sizes of ipod similar to ipod classic, then i think it's better if i wait a little longer considering that there's only little difference in the price).
    Thank you!!

I don't believe there will be an iPhone with storage capacity equivalent to the iPod Classic anytime soon - at least not within the next month, or even this year or the next.
The iPod Classic has a hard drive. The iPod Touch and iPhone have Flash storage. Flash storage is more expensive than the hard drive equivalent, but the cost for Flash storage is coming down - supply an demand is probably helping this. The iPod Touch has double the storage capacity of the largest iPhone storage capacity since the iPod Touch doesn't include a cell phone - the case has more room for two 16GB Flash drives. More than likely there will be a 32GB iPhone at some point, but I believe it will be a while before we see a 64GB iPhone or larger approaching the storage capacity that is available with an iPod Classic.

  • How can I transfer outlook data from Ipod to new hard drive?

My hard drive had to be replaced last week. Although my music was backed up by Norton 360, my Outlook contacts and calendar were not backed up. How can I transfer my data from my Ipod to my new hard drive? I am running Windowa XP, if that matters. Will a sync to Itunes destroy all my data on my Ipod?

You would need to enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the new computer, then when you first sync you should get the option to merge the data.

  • Old Computer crash. How can I transfer my music  from Ipod to new Computer?

Lightning struck my old computer, how can I transfer my music from the Ipod to the new computer (Windows XP) Itunes library?

You don't need to buy anything from the spammers that infect these forums. There are plenty of free options.
If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
For all other non purchased music (your own CDs etc) try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Enable your iPod for disk use.
    See: iPod Disk Use.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.

  • How can I transfer my itunes from my iPhone to my new computer without deleting my songs off of my iPhone?

I have a new computer with new songs I have purchased. But my iPhone has almost 2,000 songs on it and I have deleted it once before by trying to transfer my songs to a new computer before. Now I am a little bit scared to even try, so... How can I transfer my songs off my iPhone onto my new computer?  Thank you!

If these are songs you have purchased with iTunes, then you start up iTunes, log in with your Apple ID, connect the phone and transfer purchases. If this is not purchased music, iTunes is not set up to work that way. Sync of music is only one way, from iTunes to Phone. That is what the backup of your computer is for.
If by some chance you did not backup your comptuer, then you would need to look into 3rd party software. See this user hint about handling that. https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141

  • How can I transfer music back from iPod to MacBook and iMac after a MacBook

My MacBook Pro (2 years old) recently suffered a harddrive failure. I had all my music on this computer and of course on my iPod 80GB. Now I have a new drive in the MacBook with no music and all the music on the iPod. How can I transfer the music back from the iPod to the MacBook? I also have an iMac and would like to doubly back up my music on this unit (in case - or rather "when" there is another drive failure). Connecting the iPod doesn't work as it just asks me to erase and resync. There HAS to be some way around this, I couldn't possibly be the only person in the world with a drive failure!

1). Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod.
2). When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
3). Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. If you only want to copy your purchases to the computer that can be done using iTunes, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
For everything else (including purchases) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here (you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well):

A selection of iPod to iTunes utilities:
Senuti Mac Only (iPod Touch & iPhone compatible)
    PodView Mac Only

iPodDisk PPC Mac Only (experimental version available for Intel Macs)
TuneAid Mac only (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
    iPodRip Mac & Windows
    YamiPod Mac & Windows
iPod Music Liberator Mac & Windows
iGadget Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
    Floola Mac & Windows
Music Rescue Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
TouchCopy Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
4). Keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
5). I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

  • How can i transfer my songs from iPod to iPhone

how can i transfer my song library from ipod to my iphone 4?  the library on my computer from itunes is loaded with all my  kids songs so i'd just like to transfer the songs on my ipod.

You cannot copy content from your iPod directly to your iPhone.  It needs to be copied from your iPod to an iTunes library first and then synced the iPhone.
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
