How can i turn the genius on in itunes

even if i select the correct email as apple id , a message saying please complete form appears...
really wierd...it should be simple after i select turn on genius but it just does not work...uff...
i'd like playlist to be created automatically and really need a way for genius to work...
pls pls help me!!!

Figured this out. I had to change my Nano to manually manage music and then when you plug in your nano and after it is mounted go to the music tab and select synch music. The GENIUS lists will appear in the playlists options and you can check which lists you want to be snyched from your laptop/desktop.
To me this is just apple not being clear about the difference between letting iTunes "FILL" your device with your music vs actually creating a Genius list on your laptop/desktop and then moving that playlist over to your NANO.
So in essence you can let itunes fill the device and then play things on random for batch of your most often to listened music or you can actually manually select to synch certain genius lists as "PLAYLISTS"
Hope this makes sense.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

If you want to make the itunes tab so you can see the dock
you press the
esc
button if your in full screen mode
if you want to get into full screen mode you press the arrows facing away from eachother in the top right corner
there is another way to get to the normal tab if your in full screen
make the curser go right up to the top of the screen and it will show the apple tab
it will have two arrows facing together highlited in blue
if u tap that it will take you to the normal tab

Song files are just files. You can copy them the way you copy any other files, like photos or documents.

If you want to script iTunes so that you visually see the search take place in iTunes you'll need to use the method shown in the script I've posted below.
