  • HT1430 my daughter's ipod has been disabled after too many wrong password attempts. The ipod was not synced to a computer. How can we get it started?

My daughter's ipod touch has been disabled after too many wrong password attempts.
The ipod was never synced to the computer so can't connect to itunes.
How else can we enable the ipod touch again?

Restore, if iTunes will let you.  Everything except the password will be restored.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  In your case, choose any computer with iTunes software.  Be forewarned that it takes a long time.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:

You need to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes.  You may need to place it in recovery mode. For that see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
You can restore from backup and get you app data back till the time the backup was made.  That is the way it works.  It is a security feature.

  • My ipod out of no where, disabled its self for more then 41 years, how do i get it disabled?

I got my ipod taken away a couple weeks ago, and when i finally got it back it was disabled for 21,800,802 mintutes. as a teenager i cant live without my ipod, how do i get this fixed asap?!!

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore it via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter it, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod.  For recovery mode see:

my children enters wrong password several times on problem  my ipad ..., the was it is indicated that it was disabled ... how can i access my ipad thanks please help ... thank you

If it's reached the point where you can't try re-entering the code then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.
You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
