How Can I Unbrick My 1.1.4 iPhone?

I live in the UK and I bought my iPhone off eBay. It was unlocked and jailbroken on 1.1.4 software, so i used my own pay as you go simcard. My Iphone started to freeze all the time last week, and i found out that restoring the iPhone could help. I researched if this was safe and everything seemed ok. When i restored it to 1.1.4, the iPhone became bricked. Now my iphone only tells me to connect it to iTunes and when i do, iTunes says "the sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported". Unfortunately I havent a clue about what to do! have just lost £400?! Please help! Thanks.

Essentially you purchased an iPhone without an authorized unlock. It had been modified by the previous owner in a way that is not supported by Apple. Had it been an authorized unlock, such as an iPhone sold through Orange in France for which Orange had officially unlocked it, your restore would have gone through without an issue.
I would recommend contacting the seller to see if they are willing to support a product for which they voided the normal support for.

An icloud account is designed to be used by one user to keep his/her devices in sync.
If you have muitiple family members or friends using the same account as yours, then have them get their own Apple IDs and icloud accounts.
If you mean you want to stop the sharing between all your devices, then on any one device, go to Settings>icloud and turn off the services you don't want that device to share/sync. Or turn off icloud altogether if that's what you want.

The short answer: because Home Sharing isn't designed for sharing apps, and apps aren't designed to be shared.
The longer answer: Think of it like this...
You download some music in iTunes. With Home Sharing, another user can listen to it by streaming it over the network. But the data itself is on your computer. If you turn off the computer or take it off the network, the other user can't access it.
But if you send another user the app, they aren't just streaming the data- they installed it on their iOS device. Because they weren't the one that purchased it, such a transfer could easily be considered "piracy" or "stealing," and nobody likes that (least of all, Apple).
When iTunes sees this app, it obviously recognized it, as if saying, "Hey, how did you get this app on your device, if I have no record of you purchasing/downloading it from the iTunes store?"

Since you say you cant see the back up in iTunes you should be able to see it when following the last step where it says for iTunes 10.7 or earlier. Dont worry as this step also works for iTunes 11.

In order to function with AirPrint, a printer must connect to the network wirelessly.
Even if you have an AirPrint compatible printer, iOS devices will not be able to print to the printer when it is connected via USB.
So, you have two options:
1) Reconfigure the printer to connect to the network using wireless only and the iOS devices should be able to print that way....assuming that you have up to date drivers for the printer installed.
2) Leave the printer connected via USB and then use a third party App like Printopia installed on your Mac as a "workaround" to (hopefully) allow the iOS to device to be able to print. If you want to give this a try, there is a free trial for Printopia, so you will know if it will work before you buy. You must have a Mac running on the network in order for Printopia to function correctly.

Unfortunately you need an airprint enabled printer to print from an iOS device. There are some work arounds but they are very complicated and aren't proven to work 100%. From what I understand through rumors they are working on allowing all wireless printers to work with iOS but at the moment that's a pipedream. I don't know how important it is but if you really need to print from iPhone you can find some great AirPrint printers on Ebay for decent prices. Good Luck!

For iTunes purchases only..
Connect the iPhone to your Mac, launch iTunes.
If you haven't done this yet, go to the iTunes menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer
Now from the iTunes menu bar again, click File / Transfer Purchases From...

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

The process is just like deleting an unwanted email in your inbox. Simply find the track(s) you don’t want on your iOS 5 device anymore, slide your finger over the track listing to the left or the right to reveal a hidden “delete” button, and then select “delete” and the track is gone. Unfortunately there’s no mass delete option, so those Backstreet Boys songs are gonna have to be deleted one at a time.

For that kind of connectivity you need to be using an email account configured either as IMAP or Exchange.
IMAP & Exchange accounts will maintain a sync across all your devices, so if you read / delete a message on your phone, it will disappear from the server as well. This cannot happen in POP email accounts.

Alternatively, if its anything other than Google, you will need to contact your email providor or IT department (if your email address resides with an enterprise environment) to get the correct settings.
