Hello guys plz i need ur help
my cosuin have sent me an iphone 5 he lives in sweden
he bought it from a guy there. so when i startes up my phone its shows that the phone is locked
and its linked to the apple ID of that guy. Well now my iphone is useless
we couldnt contact with that guy cause we dont know him :/
any help plz

There is no way to activate it without his password. It's not a good idea to purchase from someone unless you have a way to contact them and they are trustworthy. Sorry, but you can't use that iPhone at all.

The normal process is to request the unlock with the carrier. They process it and pass it on to Apple to be applied to the Apple's iPhone database. The carrier would then inform you when Apple has provisioned the unlock, and you would restore your iPhone as a new device in iTunes to apply the unlock (you would get a message at the end of that restore as new in iTunes indicating the unlock was successfully applied). You could then restore your iPhone from backup to get everything back as it was.
However, for some carriers, you seem to beed to complete the iTunes restore from within the country where they provide service. Regardless, have you tried restoring as new in iTunes to see if it processes any provisioned unlock request? Just be sure to backup the iPhone first, before restoring as new.

If you are referring to a lock to a specific cell carrier, so you can use the iPhone with a different carrier, only the cell carrier to whom the phone is locked can authorize unlocking. You will need to contact the carrier.

I have bought an iphone 5s from Japan and it worked fine until i went to my service provider to check why my 3G wasnt working. My service provider then told me that my sim card wasnt being read by the phone anymore after she reset my network settings. My phone is apparently locked to NTT Docomo and Vodafone told me to email them, but all i get when i email them is an automated msg giving me a referance number which is practically useless because they never followed through and its been 2 weeks now. Even this morning i emailed them with the referance number they gave me and all i get is the same email they had sent me in the very beginning saying..

I have already spent a lot on this phone and all these sites offering to unlock my phone for a price which is not guranteed makes me wonder if its safe or not.

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

Can you tell me a little more about your situation? I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish. You authorize your computer to sync or download iTunes; you associate your iPhone with your Apple ID, not with iTunes.

Take it to an authorized service center or Apple Store in the country where the phone originated. Apple does not sell iPhones in Pakistan, nor will they ship them to Pakistan.

First you'd have to establish service with Verizon. Once a paying customer in good standing, you can then request the GSM portion be unlocked. Obviously, you can't do any of that stuff while you're out of the US. They will not unlock the CDMA side.

it's not just an apple thing htc, samsung and nokia also don't offer to sim unlock phones
the whole point of sim lock is that the user pay less then the phone cost because the carrier pay the rest
if it's not in your contact or the laws of the country you live in then the carrier is not forced to unlock it ever
and if the phone producers started to sim unlock phones they would face a HUUUGE lawsuit
and other carriers would start to stop carrying that brand
