How can I update Aperture? I'm asked for an ID I cannot remember.

I'm told to download update with ID I used to purchase it. Apparently the Apple techs can't deal with this issue.
What I'd really like to do is consolidate IDs into one.

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click General.
Open the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences
2. Select “Require password...NEVER after sleep or screen saver begins.” You can adjust the amount of delay before a password is required in the pop-up menu.
From what I am aware, you cannot turn off the keychain.

Can't update apps. Ipad asking for password to old email address

I I'd updated my email address several months ago. The App Store app worked fine. Now all of a sudden it's asking me to log in using the old email address and wants the old password. In settings for both the App Store and iTunes are correct. I can sign out and sign in from the settings menu but cannot update my apps through the App Store app itself. This just started today. How do I fix this?

IIf you got the app with your old email you can not change it, you need to update it with your old one. If you get any app with one email you can only use one email. Even if you log into your new email from itunes( scroll under and click on the email and sign out and log in with new email) it still won't let you do it with your other email. Sorry. You can not use different emails for some things. You can go to settings-iTunes and AppStore- update apps( it means it will automatically update apps) it does work, but uses a lot of battery usage. I hve had it on for a long time but I don't mind. hope this helped.

How on earth can I make my iMac quit asking me for passwords? I've tried a few attempts at resetting Keychain passwords. Nothing I do seems to change any behaviors. I'm also complete noob to Mac so go easy with the jargon. I've even had a session an apple support person and fixed it temporarily.

How can view another macs screen without asking for permission

I just recently upgraded all 4 of our macbook pros to mountain lion. So far no problems until I wanted to look at my sons screen to make sure he was doing homework and not playing minecraft. I went to "Network", chose his computer on our network, then chose Share screen. I get two choices "ask for Permission" or "Log in". I have screen sharing enabled on his computer and I have myself as a registered user. I have tried turning on and off the Back to my Mac setting in iCloud on both computers. I want to be able to see his screen without it asking for his permission. Kind of defeats my purpose for screen sharing if it gives him time to quit minecraft before he answers my request.
The other choice "Log In" is beyond useless. I have not idea what the purpose would be to be logged in on someones computer and only be able to see your own screen.
Before I upgraded to Mtn. Lion, I was able to screen share and see any computer without it asking for permission because I was a registered user on their computer. I home school my kids and need to be able to see/control their screens from another room.
Any ideas on how to get this to work?

I've paid for Adobe Creative cloud photographers package under a monthly subscription but i'm currently only getting access to the free trial as I can't seem to license the software, when I go to license it as instructed by Adobe I'm still asked for a serial number? When I check my Adobe account it shows no sign of any pain subscription yet they seem to be taking money from my account? Although your profile says you're running iOS 5.1.1 it sounds like you're running iOS 7 (otherwise you would not need your password to delete the old account). Assuming that's true, and your iCloud ID has changed but you need to delete the old account in order to change to your new one, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I use aperture 3.0.2 on a Mac OS X 10.5.8.
When I download the update from the official apple site and try to install, the system says that the update needs ProKit Version 5.1 or newer and that I shoud run the Apple software-update. But when I doo that, the system says, my software is up to date.

I have updated vendor master record with a new fax number. But the problem is, I am still getting the old fax number in Purchase order, output message.
Is there any other change I need to make the correct new fax number in PO out put message?
Earlier I was able to send PO correctly to the old fax number.
What are the steps to update vendor fax number so it can correctly populate in PO output message medium detrmination and sent out to correct fax number?

Hope you have created the PO document after making the changes in the vendor master.
Also check your output condition records for the application EF in t.code - NACE, whether you have maintained the old fax number, since this will have precedence over the vendor master record data.

How can I update programs that were purchased for me?

I received a laptop that was preloaded with Final Cut Pro and Motion. I have updated the OS to 10.9.1 and when I try to install upates for FCP and Motion I get the Apple ID for the person who installed the original programs and no way to change it to my ID. Is there an easy way to transfer them to my ID so I can continue with the updates?

How can I get Aperture 3.6? For Real!

My IMac hard drive with Maverick crashed 3rd time in 5 years 2 days ago, Apple replaced it, along with Yosemite. Like everyone else I have no iPhoto or Aperture. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am an Artist/Photographer, I have to use both. My website runs off iWeb which runs off iPhoto. I edit photos with Aperture. Aside from losing 4 months of data because of Apple, now they screw me on software I paid for and want to use. I read all the tricks, but my icon is "x'd" out and will not move from the applications folder to the trash bin in order to try to reinstall. I don't believe that would work anyway...The App Store says unavailable in US Store. There has got to be a way to get a copy of this 3.6 since some people have gotten it to run on Yosemite? I am Livid and Desperate, Please Help!

Are you signed in from an account with Administrator privileges?
You should be seeing a prompt to enter your admin password when you try to move Aperture to the Trash. Just enter your admin password.
Or try to do this from a new account with Administrator privileges. You can create a new account from the System Preferences > Users&Groups panel.

How can I download Firefox without being asked for "permision to allow Firefox to make changes to my computer"?

I've downloaded Firefox on several computers and have never had a problem in the past. You click the most recent version and the download process is just as described. However, this time around (maybe b/c I'm using Windows7?) I would click download, Run, and then it would ask if I would give Firefox permission to make changes to my computer. This sounds really weird, and I don't think I was asked that before. If I say no, the download remains incomplete. Why does this happen? And every time I click on the download link, the file name for where it's "From" differs. Why is that?

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected.
You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
