How can I update the thumbnails in the slide panel when a slide has been changed?
When the text in a slide has been changed, how can you update the thumbnail in the slide panel to reflect this change?
We translated slides, but the slides in the slide panel are still in English.

the slides should update automatically as you type
are you using a theme you created yourself, or one you have added for this show?
when you play the show, does the slides show correctly? If they are OK you could still show the presentation.
also what Mac are you using and what graphic crd is installed?

How do I update apps that I purchased with an itunes ID that has been changed?
I had to change my itunes id because of a change in my domainname. But when I try to update apps from the Apps Store the Apps Store keep using my old itunes login and is asking for the password. I saw a post which said that the app is tied to the itunes id that you used to purchase it and you must use that id/password to update the App but when I enter the old password (to match the itunes id that the App Store is using) I get an itunes login failure.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to get my Apps to update?
Thanks.ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another. Sounds to me like you're entering an incorrect password. You'll have to "Manage your Apple ID" to straighten that out.

With iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC. You should then be able to sleect the Apps section of your library on that left-hand sidebar, click the 'Check For Updates' button at the bottom of it and download any available updates. Then connect your phone and select it on the sidebar, select its Apps tab on the right-hand side of iTunes, and click the Sync button at the bottom of it - that should copy any app updates over to it

You have to delete the old account, provide the password for the ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos that are not in your camera roll, save them to your camera roll before deleting the account (open your my photo stream album, tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll). -

When I click on the iTunes ikon I get a box pop up which reads Problem with shortcut. The item iTunes.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.
My computer which is a packard bell vista operating system, recently stopped working as the power supply overheated and blew up and it has recently been sent back to the Know How team at PC world and it seems to be since it came back I now cannot open iTunes. I have also tried to search for iTunes in the search bar, I can see several files, but can't seem to open any of these either. I think that quicktime isn't working, either.
I have over 4000 songs in iTunes that I had recorded from my collectiong of CD's am going to loose all these now? Can anyone help, with very easy instructions as I really don't know what I am doing??
ThanksI would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

I just downloaded the latest itunes update 11.1 for windows 7 and now when I try to open itunes with the shortcut on my desktop I get this error message: "The item 'itunes.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly." I can't open itunes at all. Is there anything I can do or is there a problem with the new update?

Does that shortcut work?
If so, delete the current shortcut that is in the Quick Start tray and drag the one that is in Start > Programs down there. -

If it talks about your password it is probably a scam.
Take a look in your purchase history and see if there has really been a purchase.

I tried going into the control panel/programs /itunes and selected repair which didn't fix it. Any suggestions on restoring the broken shortcut without removing and re-installing the program?

Thank youI think it is some sort of permissions issue preventing the installer from updating the shortcuts. Is your account an administrator of the machine? If it is and you still have the problem then you may need to explicitly use the "Administrator" account for the install.
