How can i upload an HD video longer than 15 minutes via imovie 11

I movie will not allow me to upload a video longer than 15 minutes in HD, which i am a youtube partner and have not limits of lengh on video upload, is there a way to override this?
I know i can just export it as an .mov and then upload to youtube, but i prefer direct upload from imovie. I'm using imovie 11.

In all honestly, i don't remember, since i no longer use imovie, i switch NLE, but i do recall it used to take a very, very long time. I don't think as long as 23 hours, but maybe 3 or so.

I've edited a video in Final Cut Express & divided it into small parts. The first lasts 5 minutes & upon conversion to QuickTime is 6GB. I've tried using "Android File Transfer" but this only works for videos under 4GB. The idea is that the tablet would be present for a newly-married couple and would contain their wedding video.
As there are 11 parts to this project is it feasable (or indeed possible) to upload them all onto a 16GB Nexus 7? Is it better to compress them and if so how do I do it? Having said that would I lose some of the quality in compression? Would it be better to simply upload them to Youtube?
Could someone advise me on the best option, please?

You do not want to upload an uncompressed video to Nexus, YouTube, or anywhere else.
Use >File>Export>Using Quicktime Conversion ... , not >File>Export>Quicktime .
To set the parameters, check either Vimeo or YouTube for compression settings appropriate for your videos.
With these as a guide, you will not lose a noticeable amount of quality for phone or web playback.

Autoplay is not universally supported by all devices. Many smatphone data plans can't handle the burden of preloaded and auto playing media. There's nothing you can do to change this b/c mobile devices simply ignore the parameter.   All that said, why are you still using player plugins? You don't need them with HTML5 video.

It should be around 7 and a half gigs. In iTunes, across the bottom there should be a bar that show how much storage is being used and by what. (music, movies, apps, etc.) To make music take up less room, you can check the box to make it convert the music to 128kbps AAC. This lowers the quality, but with most earbuds and speakers, you can't even tell the difference.
The iPod touch has parental controls built in. You'll find them in Settings. I think they only work for enabling/disabling Safari, Mail, YouTube, and App Store. Here's an app that does more: http://www.mobicip.com/online_safety/ipod_touch

download the new you tube apps in i tunes, in os6 just pick a video in the photos apps and select share, the old you tube app icon will appear

I can't upload videos longer than 15 minutes

When I go to Share > YouTube I get an error that it can't publish because the file is longer than 15 minutes.
There are YouTube accounts that allow videos longer than 15 minutes, including mine. It would be great if I could get QuickTime to let me choose Share > YouTube without getting this error.

So QuickTime has the following options for sharing in Yosemite: Mail, Messages, Airdrop, Vimeo. Facebook, Flickr. You can choose any of these. I haven't given Apple any credentials to any of the external services (not that I would know where to do that, plus I don't have a Facebook account).
Here are the "Share" options I get under Yosemite:
As far as why QuickTime is checking my account, it isn't. Like I mentioned earlier, when I choose YouTube from the sharing option, it immediately returns an error that videos longer than 15 minutes can't be uploaded to YouTube.
Your system must log in with YouTube before it can upload a file. Here is what I see when I select the "YouTube" Share Menu option under Yosemite:
If you told your system previously to "remember" your YouTube log-in info, then it shouldn't ask again. If you have never stored the log-in info, then I would normally expect a different error message here. That is what seems "fishy" here.
I'm also not seeing a PLIST file for Quicktime. Or is there a specific file I should delete?

thank you for your help.
Actually i have tried to search for a tutorial and i found that one that was very helpful and gave me the half solution. the part i found and it worked with me is the part of the next and previous buttons and moving from an image to another.
SO the part i still need is the list so when i click on a category i get the pictures of the chosen category, I had the idea of create a flash for each category alone and maybe i will be able to add them all together.
But i guess it's too much work and there must be a way where i can make it all in one flash file.
If you have any idea let me know please, thank you again for your help and i'm trying to search for the AS3 image gallery as you told me.
