How Can I Use Both Drives in DUAL DVD Writer Setup In G4 Mirror

I just installed 2 LG 20X DVD Writers in a G4 Mirror. I can operate each individually fine from Toast 8 and Finder. But what I am wondering, is there a way to write simultaneously to both drives? i.e. I load a disc image, and copy it to both drives at the same time.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of Toast are you using? I am using v8 and when I start the burn on the first disc ALL menu options are grayed out. Also, Toast totally freezes up: sits on "Writing "<dvd name>" and never does anything. I have to KILL Toast and restart the Mac to kill the burn. When I check the DVD, it is still usable so it was not even initialized.
BTW - Both drives Master and Slave are seen by Toast and can be selected from the popup by the burn button.
However, Finder has no problem at all in burning a DVD - it defaults to the Master for the first disc and slave for the second disc. All I have to do is create a Burn folder for each drive and launch Burn Disc one a time! Works create!!
Any thoughts?

But yes, you should be able to connect to your home WiFi network with multiple computers and devices. In my house my wife, my daughter and I will all be using the WiFi Internet connection at the same time with our Laptops and I will also be using my iPad, my daughter uses her iPhone, and we have no issues at all.

You can use Parallels desktop or VM Fusion to run both operating systems at the same time. Both programs work well, but I personally perfer VM Fusion.

I see you are stilll unsuccessful installing the drivers as you get the blue screen.

If the graphic card fails, here is a link to the HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide. Please note page 9 or chapter 1 page 9 for a list of recommended replacement graphic cards.
If the graphic card passes you may wish to consider doing a restore back to a known good time or a full recovery back to factory.

You can use some USB flashdrives with the iPad's camera connection kit, but a lot of them require more power than is supplied to the kit, and you can only photos and videos to the iPad's Photos app with it - you can't copy other content, nor copy content off the iPad with it. Depending upon what you want to use it for you might be better off with syncing, Dropbox, emailing content, copying via your wifi network etc (depending upon the item type and what the app that you want to copy to/from supports)

Adobe Drive software doesn't store images; it enables integration of a DAM system with Creative Suite and now Creative Cloud desktop apps.
Adobe Drive 3 is the first version of the software to support integration with Adobe's DAM. This version was designed to work with CS5 and CS5.5 apps.
We do not have a version of Drive that supports integration with CQ 5.4 DAM and CS4 apps.

I found a way to pull the music files off the shuffle (haven't tried the video one yet..has another problem that needs to be fixed) How can I get the shuffle and ipod video to run off the new computer normally?

You just need to make sure that the new computer has all the music on it, and all the software needed...

Know that you can use the iPod with video with multiple computers, but you cannot use the iPod shuffle with multiple computers. All your music for the shuffle will need to be on the new computer

I'm editing a load of video, some of it was shot in 16:9 high-def and some in 4:3 regular-def. Id really hate to see the 4:3 footage go to waste. What can I tack on to the black sidebars on either end of this footage to fill in the gaps? I've also seen on TV where the sidebars on old 4:3 footage is blurred out by video from that particular frame. How can I do this?

Just duplicate the footage and superimpose.
Stretch the underlaying footage to fill the screen and add a blur.

For the audio you most likely need to use Audio MIDI Setup (in your Utilities folder) and create an "Aggregate Device". This doc might help.
I don't have an answer for the camera question.

How can I use both Lion and Leopard on the same computer?

I have installed Lion and can't recover documents created by Canvas 9, a PPC app. Can I create a partition to run Leopard, so that I can use PPC apps?

My mid-2010 iMac 27" i3 came with Snow Leopard. My internal hard drive is partitoned into 3 parts - one boot volume for Snow Leopard (10.6.7); one boot volume for Lion; another boot volume for Lion. The two Lion partitions were added to the internal drive without erasing the initial install of Snow Leopard.
I also have an external firewire drive which is partitioned into three volumes: one with a clone of the primary's Snow Leopard 10.6.7; one with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 (built on another clone of the primary); and one used for GP file storage.
That gives me three bootable volumes for Snow Leopard (two of 10.6.7, and one of 10.6.8) and two bootable volumes for Lion. All of those are, in fact bootable - they have all been tested for that by booting to them.
Booting to a different valid OS on a different volume is as easy as going to System Preferences > Startup Disk and then selecting the OS/volume one would like to use on the next restart. Then just restart.
The choice can also be made at booting - as soon as the startup chimes sound, hold down the Option key to bring up Startup Manager. In that screen select the boot volume of choice.
