How can I use my apps if I can't update
I have an iPod touch 3rd gen. My sister sent me a link saying come play HayDay with me it's brill.... She is addicted. I went to download it and it said you need iOS 4.3. I thought fine no problem and plugged my iPod into my computer. My iTunes has informed me that there is no update available fir it. Because of this I'm unable to use hayday and a couple of other apps that have recently been updated. Could anyone tell me why and how to sort this out as I can't afford to buy myself a new iPod and apart from this there is nothing wrong with mine. Thanks.
You have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1. As you found out many apps have been updates so that the version available in the Apple are no longer compatible with your iPod.
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Your only choice then is to live without the app or get a newer model iPod.

You can't, all content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it, so only that account will be able to download updates to its apps.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported, and likely has caused the problems you are experiencing.

To update your phone requires using the latest version of iTunes, on your computer, as well as Internet access. The update to iOS 5.0 or higher is an erase/restore deal, so you not only have to make sure all of the content, currently on your phone, is on your computer and accessible, you need to update iTunes first, have Internet access, then update your phone. There is no way around this fact. You could go to an Apple store or use another computer, but you run the risk of losing all of your data it you do that.

With iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC. You should then be able to sleect the Apps section of your library on that left-hand sidebar, click the 'Check For Updates' button at the bottom of it and download any available updates. Then connect your phone and select it on the sidebar, select its Apps tab on the right-hand side of iTunes, and click the Sync button at the bottom of it - that should copy any app updates over to it

Hi, I have a new Iphone and I wanted to add some applications from apple store.
Unfortunately, I had a message saying that I was using app store on a new device (true) and they needed to check some security thing from my visa card. Unfortunately, I had a new card and do not have the previous one anylonger (the previous one expires in 1 year but had to be cancelled).
Therefore I am blocked and cannot get into my account.
How can I update my bank account and get into the apple store again ?

How Can I update my app new version to the registered devices
Well, we have developed an in-house app using the Unity3d Game Engine. I'm using a Developer Enterprise account, and have already created the proper certificates, registered the devices (7 ipads) and generated the provisioning Profile. I have already clicked in the 'build an run', and the Unity Engine builds the app, that after is opened at the Xcode. I havel already fixed the bugs, and the app is working properly at the ipads.
The problem is, I will need to Update the app, and I need to Update them without have to get them and build them at my own Mac, since they do not stay with me. I've been strugling with that for a while. I have downloaded the provisioning profile and sent by e-mail to one of the ipads, the one I'm using to test, and instaled it, but the version of my app have not been updated.
I checked on my app icloud capabilities. The page about the Update of in-house apps is not very clear(http://help.apple.com/iosdeployment-apps/mac/1.1/#app43ad802c), and I'm new in the development for IOS.
How can update my app at this Ipads? Is there any step-by-step to follow, more eplanatory that the link above?I didn't explained it correctly, I mean without getting the ipads, not the source code. I mean, at every time I need to launch a new version of the app, how can I update it through the internet, because I have installed my app running it at the ipads with the xcode, by usb. I'm using the enterprise program, so, as far as I know, the update is not through apple store.

What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. How do you use an app that you down loaded on your computer. I am having trouble because I can download the app just fin but when I actually want to use that app I have no idea what to do. I tried to look for any open buttons but there are none. I downloaded the app on my phone origionaly and I then I downloaded it on my laptop. the app is called arkvpn.

You cannot use someone else's apps without violating the license agreement. The apps are tied to the owner (via Apple ID). The right thing to do would be to update and start fresh.

If someone else's Apple ID comes up when trying to update an app it means that that app was downloaded or purchased under that Apple ID and not yours. Apps are always associated with the ID used to download or purchase them the first time.
To avoid this from happening in the future delete that apps purchased under the other ID and download or purchase them with your ID. -
