How can i use my phone if i forgot the apple id and password to activate my phone

i reset my iPhone 4s because it has been disabled and once i go in its feeling me i have to activate it but i can't remember what apple id and password i used. i need help!

How many Apple IDs do you have? The prompt should show you a few letters from the email address to remind you. You can always reset your password using this page:
https://appleid.apple.com/
Resetting the password will require that you have access to the email address associated with the AppleID or that you remember your security questions.
If you cannot reset the password , take it to an Apple Store with your proof of purchase and they may help you.

You cannot get around Activation Lock without the oringinal owner disassociating the iPad from their account.

You can only "locate" your iPhone using Find My iPhone. It must be enabled, and you must have iCloud....

I have an IPhone 4 that I want to pass to my son because I have a new one. I took it off my ATT plan...but now in order for him to use it I have to know the apple id and password to remove it from the account. I got the phone so long ago we no longer have that email address and I've tried every password I've ever used and it doesn't work. Sooo...I was able to get into the old email account by webmail...I changed the password and the email address. Now it still says its hooked to that old email address except now...that old email address is no long an apple ID. HELLLPPP!

There is nothing you can do about but ask the seller for your money back. Without the previous owners applid password, you cannot activate and use that device - there is no way around that. iOS 7's Activation Lock needs to be disabled by the previous owner in order for you to use it - if they cannot (or willnot) produce the password to disable it, you have no options.
They can disable it remotely for you - see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5661 but not if they do not remember their own password.

Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

You will need to obtain the original Apple id ,that is the only way to unlock it
Speak to the original owner .If you cannot it is likely the iPhone was stolen and the activation lock is preventing use by a third party that is you

As the linked articl says, place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

you have to restore to ios 6 and then sign in with your own apple id,
any apps etc on the iphone now, will not be able to be backed up and used in the future as they are not linked to your apple ID. and if you plan on using the previous owners ID then you need there [*** which I assume you dont have.
simply just restore using itunes then setup as new with all your details and your done, you can go to the appstore and start getting your own apps
