How can I Use the iCloud Control Panel to pick a new folder
I apparently moved or deleted my iCloud folder and keep getting this message Use the iCloud Control Panel to pick a new folder. How do I do this?
I have/had the same problem, just started this morning. I tried a system restore to a known good date. I still had the problem so I rolled restored the system to the latest.
Thinking that it might have something to do with priviliges, I reviewed my user account and noticed it was set to "Administrator". On a whim, I switched my user account from administrator to "standard user" and I'll be... the issue dissapeared. I have no idea why. But I thought I'd pass it along.

I can't get the iCloud Contacts and Calendar folders to appear in Outlook 2010 using the iCloud Control Panel. Also the datafile share which ends in .aplzod is not created in Outlook. The Contacts and Calendar are sent to iCloud (verified on iCloud.com) but the iCloud folders are not created in Outlook in the Contacts and Calendar navigation panes. How can i use the same front panel graph in more than one events in an event structure?
i want to display the signals from my sensorDAQ in a graph.but i have more than one event in the event structure to acquire the signal and display it in the graph.the first event is to acquire the threshold signals and its displayed in the graph as a feedback.after the first event is executed, i will call the second event,where the further signals are acuired and compared with the threshold signals from the event 1.my question is how can i use the same front panel control in more than two events in the event structure?please answer me i'm stuck.

I can not install the icloud control panel on a neww windows 7 pc with outlook 2010. When i try I get "you can't inssign in because of a server error"
I have :
turned of the windows fire wall and antivirus protection
stop and started the bonjour service
done the "netsh winsock reset"
updated all the drivers
I can login to icloud.com with no problem and view my calendar.
Apple chat also provide me with a test id and password to try to install the icloud panel, I got the same error message???
Anyone have a fix?

I apologize for semi-hijacking the topic of this thread from "Multiple iCould IDs with single AppleID. Possible?"
Perhaps my reasoning for doing this was flawed, but here it is. That thread was started back in June when the real details of iCloud were somewhat conjecture. It is now about 14 pages long. There are some recent posts to the thread, but for the life of me I can't tease a solution to my question above out of them. I just may not be reading carefully enough. If so, I apologize.
What I am looking for is more of a STEP BY STEP guide to setting up iOS 5 and OS 10.7.2 for a family in my situation with my needs. I think I do represent a fair segment of users.
If the monitors of this forum think my thread should be tack on to the end of the above mentioned forum...by all means do so.
Honestly, If Steve were alive today I think he would not be happy with this situation faced by Apple customers. Steve always said his guiding mantra for his products was..."It just works." Recently I lost my passcode and I had to reset my iPhone. Some of my data is on iCloud but I don't know how to use my camera roll again in my Photos. All I want is to know how can I store my pictures and videos from iCloud to my Photos.
Your camera roll is included in your device backup by default, unless you excluded it in settings. However, you can't view the photos and videos (or anything else) in the backup; you can only restore it to your device. Later this fall, iCloud Photo Library will be introduced along with iOS 8. At that time, you can start storing and accessing your photos and videos in iCloud (see https://www.apple.com/icloud/preview/).
If you want to store your camera roll, import it to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer. -

In the Finder use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears when you do this.
Navigate to Containers/com.apple.soagent/Data/Library/Preferences
You will notice that many of the items are Aliases (to the Originals in ~/Library/Preferences).
But there are exceptions.
Delete (Drag to Trash) the com.apple.soagent.plist and com.apple.messageshelper.AccountInfoController.plist
Restart the Mac (I have not worked out is SOAgent launches when the Mac does).
Restart Messages.
If this does not work navigate to ~/Library/Preferences
In here find and Delete com.apple.ids.service.com.apple.madrid.plist
This will need a Restart of the app.
You will be asked Again for your Apple ID

I don't know what that size column shows for folders, but it's certainly not the size of the contents of the folder. How can I display this list, but with the sizes of the entire contents of each folder, including all of its subfolders?
Basically, I need the Terminal equivalent of opening my Home folder in Finder, Clicking Show View Options, clicking Calculate All Sizes, and then sorting the Size column descending.
