How can I use the Messages app to "text" another user's iPad?
Both iPads are iPad II and are 3G enabled. I know I read something about an iPad having a phone number if it's 3G, but that most users dont know what it is or how to find it. I don't want to use an outside app if it's avoidable.... They're buggy, slow, and largely unreliable from my experience.
It may or may not be the other users apple id, but it will be usable with whatever 'receive at' E mail address the other person used when they set up I message settings on their pad. But if they have i message turned on, and you know their receive at address, I message will work fine.

You will need to create a new Apple ID for your wife. This may require a new email address too. As for Game Center, there is a sign out dialogue on the main page if you tapon your ID.

Since Google has not added watch support to the gmail app, you don't. You should be able to get notifications, but at this time, there is no gmail app for the watch.

There's no way to mask or hide an IP address on an iPad that I am aware of. As to using Netflix from outside of your country, ask Netflix about that.

Most hotels tend to require a login to the network via browser, which the ATV doesn't have. You won't be able to access the network for any functions if that's the case.
You may want to contact someone at the hotel to clarify. -

I had gotten this iPad 2 from one of my relatives who had already purchased some apps using her Apple ID, after I got the iPad, I downloaded some apps from iTunes on PC through my own Apple ID, when I try to sync them to my iPad, they tell me to authorize my computer, but I've already done that. So, how can I sync my apps to my iPad? (By the way, I don't know anything about the Apple ID of my relative).
delete/uninstall the apps that your relative downloaded on you iPad. to do that tap and hold on and icon til it shakes, once its shaking downloaded apps will havee (X) mark on them on a red bubble, tap on it to delete

Messages on an iPad will use the iMessage servicve from apple. So your recipients qwill need to have an Apple Devce, and have configured iMessages. And you must have the address they set up messages with to message them.

How Can I use the Apple time capsule on another network?
I have just swapped out Virgin Broadband for BT broadband (BT infinity - BT HOMEHUB 3 wireless device)
I would like to reconfigure my Time capsule so that I can use it as part of my new wireless network (as a wireless back-up device).. but not use the router part of it.
I believe this is possible? Am currently using 10.7.5 of OS X.

SimonYou cannot use the extend option with another brand router.. so the above will not work with the BThub. And WDS btw is now not used on the TC or apple routers.. haven't ever since N wireless came out.. the above article is for G wireless routers of yesteryear.
The best way to do it is bridge the TC.. that is router bridge not wireless bridge.. and simply plug it by ethernet into the BT hub.
You can then setup wireless however you want.. it can reinforce the existing wireless. Simply use the same name (SSID) and security setting.. (should be WPA2 Personal ie AES).. and passkey.. but if you want to make it sure, then lock the wireless channels. This is called a roaming network. -

If you are looking for apps to run on your Mac, you need to download them through the Mac App Store, not through iTunes. -
