How can I use the USRP to record a signal using its two RX port simultaneously?

Hi.
I am trying to record a signal using two horn antenna. The reason I need two antenna is to cover the wide frequency range (DC-6GHz). one antenna is covering DC-300MHz and the other one covers 300MHz-6GHz. So I need to use two RX port of USRP at the same time to record the signal. I have two questions:
1. Does any USRP in the market capable of covering this range of frequency?
2. Is it possible to use both RX port at the same time to record signals as I described? If not, how can make that happen?
P.S. I have two NI2920 USRPs and two N210 USRPs in my lab.

Hi Sam,
To answer your first question the USRPs that you have cannot reach the frequency range that you want. There is not a USRP, to my knowledge, that can reach this range in one device.
Also note that you cannot use two RX sessions for two different ports at the same time using LabVIEW and the USRP driver. If you want to use both RX lines you will have to run one session with one line, end the session, and then start a different session for your second RX line.

Reading your question a bit more in detail, I doubt whether you are using Win32 API GetDiskFreeSpace function (for which my previous post is the solution) of Programmer's Toolbox GetDiskSpace function.
With reference to the second one, it works even with disks larger than 2GB but you need to use the proper formatting code to display the returned value. I updated my example to show total free space in the debug output window and added a comparison with 3GB value using UInt64TypeCompareUInt from the Programmer's Toolbox.

How can I define the intermittency factor of a signal?

Hi everyone,
I want to ask how can I determine the intermittency factor of any signal.
The intermittency factor is a ratio of the time of high frequency distortion in the signal to the total time of the signal. So, Intermittency=time_turbulent / time_total.
I have attached an image file and original vi with source vis to show the high distortion time in blue lines. I want to determine the total time of these distortion in the blue lines. Then I will divide this total time corresponding the high level distortions in the blue lines by the total time of the signal to calculate the intermittency.
How can I achieve this? Could you please help me? Regards,

It is not clear to me whether your problem is (1) how to measure the time or (2) how to determine the presence of the high frequency distortion. The counters to which Paul B. referred are related to (1). I cannot look at your VI from home, so I do not know what you have tried.
You generally get better help on this Forum if you ask very specific questions. Asking someone to do the whole job for you, especially when you have not provided all the specifications, is much less likely to get you the help you want.

If you want to make the itunes tab so you can see the dock
you press the
esc
button if your in full screen mode
if you want to get into full screen mode you press the arrows facing away from eachother in the top right corner
there is another way to get to the normal tab if your in full screen
make the curser go right up to the top of the screen and it will show the apple tab
it will have two arrows facing together highlited in blue
if u tap that it will take you to the normal tab

There is one thing You might miss in iDVD - So do I - the ability to re-arrange in the DVD map (block diagram)
The order things will be pplayed or addrssed is same as the order each item is introduced into iDVD.
To my knowledge ther is no way around this.

I am developing an ecard app that has a create greeting page, a preview page with edit and send buttons and an edit page.
I got he insert working, and on the preview page I created a master record page (displays all records), and delete all unecessary designs. Doing it this way also gives me the 'edit' button, so people are able to edit their page.
How do I get only the last record displayed though? At the moment it loops through all records and displays them in sets of 10. I found the variable that holds the totla count of records ('$totalRows_rs7417_content1'), but how do I (re-)write the script so it ONLY diplays the last record?
I need to get the ID of this record as I am writing this into the PARAMs of the object and embed tags of my message .swf (this picks up the ID and based on that sucks the greetings text out of the database via another php script.
Also, from this page, how can I send an email to the sender (ie creator of the message) as well as the recipient? Both email addresses are in the databse so should be part of the erecord returned.

OK, So how do I recreate what I got in a non-ADDT list?
well, when you´re just about to display one certain record, the term "list" is somewhat inappropriate anyway.
What you´d simply need to do IMHO, is using DW´s native functions to create the basic "SELECT * FROM table_name ORDEr BY ID DESC" query, add "LIMIT 1" manually, and display the desired "dynamic text" placeholders in 1 table cell -- don´t think there were any need for all the fancy stuff
(sorting, filtering etc) provided by ADDT´s list, as it´s just 1 record.
It also occurred to me just now that finding the last record that has been added *may-* notbe enough if the site gets used a lot by our executives (I am thinking of a situation where 2 or three peolpe create greetings at the same time and press submit and then getting each others messges rather than their own).
in this case you might want to additionally store the respective executive´s "kt_login_id" session variable -- because it´s this unique "identifier" which should be used to show the last inserted record of the person who actually inserted it, means adding a "WHERE submitter_id" equals the session variable kt_login_id - clause to the query.
When creating a non-ADDT list that´s at some point based on detecting a user session, you´ll BTW need to insert at line 1
I can't seemt o insert it on the page as it is looking for a insert, update or delete bahaviour on the page which of course I don't have
please search these forums for several posts I made which explain my "use dummy table" approach that´s made for cases when you actually don´t have anything to insert/update/delete, but need "something" for ADDT´s send email behaviours.

I just recently purchased a Lenovo T61 from a guy on ebay. I’m trying to figure out how to increase the resolution of the monitor, but can’t seem to figure it out. Here are the technical specs of the machine:

I’m running Windows 7. I don’t think there is an inherent/native resolution higher than 1280x800. Is this right? Can I download a driver to allow me to get to a higher resolution? I’m using 1400x1050 on my older T42; this resolution is very nice. I’d like to see this on my T61. How can I do this?

Hello ryguy7272,
it seems your tft has got a primary monitor resolution: of 1280x800 only.
There´s no way to power that up, except at an external monitor.
Maybe that´s why the machine was a lot cheaper than others.
