  • How can we validate a XML against his external schema XSD

    Hi;
    I use the XML library for create my XML file, I’m extracting the data
    from R3 and building the XML document.
    I wish to validate this document against his schema XSD built by third party (government organization) before i transfer this data (xml file)

    In my abap program:
    ¿How can i reach this validation level and if any
    error exists then how can i get or trap the detail information?
    this is a sample file XML with the external schema reference, as you can see in this part of the code.

    Hi, Alejandro
    Did you found something on SAP side in order to generated this XML.
    Currently I´m trying to find out some on SAP but nothing at this moment.
    The company that I´m working needs to implement "Factura Electonica" also.
    Probably we will use external broker to do this for us, and we will send just Idoc to the broker.
    Please, let me know your progress on SAP side.

  • TS3999 How can I restore deleted items to my iMac which are still in the calendar in my iCloud?

    All the events in the Calendar on my Imac have disappeared but are still shown on the Calendar in Icloud. How can I restore the data to my Imac?

    Hello there,
    It sounds like you have verified that your canlendar data is stored in http://www.icloud.com and would like to get that info back into your calendar application on your computer. I would start by using the troubleshooting in the following article named:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3999
    Make sure that your account was successfully created in Calendar (or iCal) on your Mac. After upgrading to iCloud Calendar, you may need to quit and reopen Calendar (or iCal). To confirm that your account is configured correctly in Calendar (or iCal):
    Open Calendar (or iCal).
    Open Calendar (or iCal) Preferences.
    Click Accounts. You should see an account with your iCloud member name in the Apple ID field.
    Turn iCloud Calendars off and back on:
    Quit Calendar (or iCal).
    Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then select iCloud.
    Deselect the checkbox next to Calendars (or Calendars & Reminders in Mountain Lion and Lion).
    Close System Preferences and wait about a minute.
    Open System Preferences and select iCloud.
    Replace the checkmark next to Calendars (or Calendars & Reminders in Mountain Lion and Lion).
    Close System Preferences.
    Open Calendar (or iCal) and test to see if the issue is resolved.
    Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it reinitializes your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • How can I get a birthday reminder from items which are in the read-only cal

    I am looking for a solution to get a reminder message for birtdays which are within the read-only calender imported/updated from he address book. I so far have not found the option where to turn on the reminder and I do not want to duplicate items (ie creating another birthday calender inside iCal).
    Thanks for comments.

    Hi ontour,
    This limitation is one of the many reasons I wrote Dates to iCal. It is a replacement for the Birthdays calendar in iCal, so you would need to turn the Birthdays calendar off in iCal's preferences.

    please give comments the way I implement it. Here's the code:

    The method to set the DTD is setDoctype().
    Stub code follows:
    // Test using InputSource
    parser = new DOMParser();
    parser.setErrorStream(System.out);
    parser.showWarnings(true);
    FileReader r = new FileReader(args[0]);
    InputSource inSource = new InputSource(r);
    inSource.setSystemId(createURL(args[0]).toString());
    parser.parseDTD(inSource, args[1]);
    dtd = (DTD)parser.getDoctype();
    r = new FileReader(args[2]);
    inSource = new InputSource(r);
    inSource.setSystemId(createURL(args[2]).toString());
    parser.setDoctype(dtd);
    parser.setValidationMode(true);
    parser.parse(inSource);
    doc = (XMLDocument)parser.getDocument();
    doc.print(new PrintWriter(System.out));

  • How can I validate my XSD programatically ?

    Hi,
    I know how to validate XML against an XSD. But how can I validate an XSD itself? i.e Programatically press the "validate" button in XML Spy.
    I have tried validating it against http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema.xsd . But this does not work for imports. i,e MySchema.xsd imports CommonSchema.xsd and uses CommonSchemas element definitions.
    When I validate against XMLSchema.xsd it does not check the imports.. i.e i can delete an import statement and its still valid - and in this case it obviously shouldnt be.
    Anyone any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Alan

    Hi Caffaine,
    sounds like a difficult problem... I tried to do something similar to this a few years ago under Java 1.3, and I can tell you that you'll have a couple of problems.
    1) ResourceBundles are a type of cache, so the one you load first is the one you are stuck with for the remainder of the program execution. The only ways around that AFAIK is to either author your own non-static ResourceBundle, or to have the user re-execute the client every time they want to change locales (neither of which is particularly appealing). Not sure if anything in Tiger has rectified this, but I don't think it has.
    This also means that your server will be stuck in a certain locale. Probably the best thing to do would be to write your clients so that all information heading back to the server heads there in Unicode, so that you're dealing with a common encoding on the server side. This means no bytes or chars. Strings would be the thing to use.
    2) AFAIK, Java has no way of programatically changing the Windows input locale. Though if I am wrong, someone please correct me!
    Hope that helps!

  • How can i register my xml file when i have no xsd ?

    For given xml data.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <!DOCTYPE metadata SYSTEM "http://www.fgdc.gov/metadata/fgdc-std-001-1998.dtd">

    <origin>MRF</origin>
    <pubdate>20040512</pubdate>
    file is large this is a sample.
    I am inserting using xmltype without registering schema.
    using this method,it is working fine.
    CREATE TABLE xml_table OF XMLType;
    INSERT INTO xml_table
    VALUES (XMLType(bfilename('XMLDIR','Test_xml.xml'),
    nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')));
    Can you suggest a way to register above xml using below mentioned method given in samples?
    BEGIN
    DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.registerschema('http://www.oracle.com/person.xsd',
    '<schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"' ||
    ' xmlns:per="http://www.oracle.com/person.xsd"'
    etc. and
    CREATE TABLE foo OF XMLType
    XMLSCHEMA "http://www.oracle.com/person.xsd" ELEMENT "person";
    Can I register schema for my xml file which does not have xsd format this way, if yes how??
    Please suggest.

    The main purposes of registering a schema, depending upon how you register it, are to create objects within Oracle to have the XML stored in and to use to validate XML against.
    If you are trying to validate the XML, then you need to register the DTD from http://www.fgdc.gov/metadata/fgdc-std-001-1998.dtd. (If possible, I would suggest to convert the DTD to an XSD before registering it given that DTDs are outdated now)
    You can find examples of registering schemas in the FAQ at the {forum:id=34} forum. Assuming your DB version meets the requirements, any registration questions should be posted in that forum. You can also search that forum for registerschema and find many examples as well.

    I took the time to test and revise. This is code that will validate a date entry (format MM/DD/YYYY). • How can I get the XML structure from a flat structure?

    Hi all,
    in my XI SP 12 I use a JMS adapter to read information using the WebSphereMQ transport protocol.
    The structure that I receive have this format:
    <Name_A.KeyFieldValue><Name_A.fieldName_A1_Value>...<Name_A.fieldName_AN_Value>
    <NumberRecordType_B><NumberRecordType_c>
    <Name_B.KeyFieldValue><Name_B.fieldName_B1_Value>...<Name_B.fieldName_BN_Value>
    <Name_B.KeyFieldValue><Name_B.fieldName_B1_Value>...<Name_B.fieldName_BN_Value>
    <Name_C.KeyFieldValue><Name_C.fieldName_C1_Value>...<Name_C.fieldName_CN_Value>
    <Name_C.KeyFieldValue><Name_C.fieldName_C1_Value>...<Name_C.fieldName_CN_Value>
    the problem is that in this structure each line is not separated by a carriage return or a comma, I have all the information in a single line:
    <Name_A.KeyFieldValue><Name_A.fieldName_A1_Value>...<Name_A.fieldName_AN_Value><NumberRecordType_B><NumberRecordType_c><Name_B.KeyFieldValue><Name_B.fieldName_B1_Value>...<Name_B.fieldName_BN_Value>...<Name_B.KeyFieldValue><Name_B.fieldName_B1_Value>...<Name_B.fieldName_BN_Value><Name_C.KeyFieldValue><Name_C.fieldName_C1_Value>...<Name_C.fieldName_CN_Value>...<Name_C.KeyFieldValue><Name_C.fieldName_C1_Value>...<Name_C.fieldName_CN_Value>
    and the customer don't want to insert a line separator.
    Then, the question is:
    How can I get the XML structure from this structure?
    If possible, I don't want to develop new Module and add it in the JMS Module Sequence.
    PS I have already read the article "How to Use the Content Conversion Module with the XI 3 J2EE JMS Adapter.pdf" and it doesn't seem to help me.
    Best Regards,
    Paolo

    To get context parameters from your web.xml file you can simply get the ActionServlet object from an implementing action object class. In the perform (or execute) method make the following call.
    ServletContext context = getServlet().getServletContext();
    String tempContextVar =
    context.getInitParameter("<your context param >");

  • How can i print specific pages against searched word or name (in one print command) from 1000 pages

    how can i print specific pages against searched word or name (in one print command) from 1000 pages

    Thanks, Alex!
    ok, I try first approach in print4.vi, but Labview return an error (view jpg); if I cut From, To controls, the VI print all pages. The same things happen also if I trasform I32 in Variant.
    I don't try second approach, because at this time I have only one report
    I try also with VB macro: this is better (print3.vi) but.....if I use:
    Sub Print_Pages_From_To()
    ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.PrintOut Range:=wdPrintFromTo, From:="2", To:="3"
    End Sub
    is ok; print the pages selected; if I use:
    Sub PrintPages()
    ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.PrintOut  Pages:="2-3"
    End Sub
    printer print all pages.
    what do you think?

    END;
    tell me the error: ORA: 01031, insufficient privileges!!!!, what’s wrong??,

    Hi,
    To register schema, you require XDBADMIN system privilege granted to the user.
    Please verify this and retry.

  • How can I define an XML schema for this kind of XML

    Hi, There:
    I want to generate an XML file like:
    <customer>
    </customer>
    <transaction>
    </transaction>
    <customer>
    </customer>
    which have multiple customer elements and multiple transactions as well, and they can happen in mixed sequence. Can any one give me some idea about how can I create an XML schema for this kind of xml? (<xsd:complextype> <xsd:sequence> ) seems not work)
    Thanks in advance
    David

    Use a group then make it a choice, like this;
    <xs:element name="Parent">
    <xs:complexType>
    <xs:group ref="Group" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="unbounded" />
    </xs:complexType>
    </xs:element>
    <xs:group name="Group">
    <xs:choice>
    <xs:element ref="OptionOne" type="xs:string" />
    <xs:element ref="OptionTwo" />
    </xs:choice>
    </xs:group>
    <xs:element name="OptionOne">
    <xs:complexType>
    <xs:attribute name="name" type="xs:string" />
    <xs:attribute name="Type" type="xs:string" />
    </xs:complexType>
    </xs:element>
    <xs:element name="OptionTwo">
    <xs:complexType>
    <xs:attribute name="name" type="xs:string" />
    <xs:attribute name="Type" type="xs:string" />
    </xs:complexType>
    </xs:element>
    This allows XML like this
    <Parent>
    <OptionTwo ........ />
    <OptionOne ........ />
    <OptionTwo ........ />
    <OptionOne ........ />
    <OptionOne ........ />
    </Parent>
