How can I verify that an email was sent?

I was an Adobe SendNow Outlook user until early this morning, when I had to send an important document for a meeting this morning. SendNow for Outlook informed me that it  just retired, and so I was directed to this Adobe Send cloud version.   I was able to go in and send my document. And later I found the new Adobe Send Outlook plug-in.
But in the meantime, my recipient has not yet retrieved the document (according to the status). I'm wondering how I can verify/see the email I sent through Send. I don't see anything in the Adobe Send Cloud interface that allows me to see either the recipient email address or the text of the email. This seems to be an important component missing. Or am I missing something?
Keith
p.s. My recipient did finally view the document and I received my email verification, but I still can't seem to find the original text of the email!

  • How can I verify that I properly "SIM-unlocked" my IPhone 4?

As part of my service plan with Bouygues (France), I got an IPhone 4 which is "SIM-locked" and can not be used with another telephone operator.
After 3 months it is possible to organise the "SIM-unlocking" of the phone, free of charge.
I did so by contacting the customer support and performing the appropriate procedure with ITunes. Everything seems to have gone right, the IPhone 4 is as great a phone as it was before,
my question is simple, how can I verify that the phone is actually unlocked? a menu in the phone for example?

Just put a sim from a different carrier in and try it.

How can I verify that my App data is actually stored in the iCloud. I can see and access my notebook, contacts etc. on the iCloud website, and I can see my photos in a folder on my Windows-based desktop compter (iCloud/Photostream). But no app data.
With Dropbox, I can actually see all of my stored files. With iCloud, it seems, I'm supposed to just trust that Apple has my back. Short of deliberately trashing my app data and then attempting a restore, is there no way to check the data?

You can't access them on Windows (unless you have iCloud enabled Windows programs) and I don't think any are, yet.
iCloud data is accessed via Apps/Programs, the Windows programs vendors will have to step up (just to make it worse Microsoft have not yet enabled their Mac programs, such as Office yet) I doubt that iCloud access is much of a priority for them, complain to MS, when enough Windows users complain maybe they'll do something.

Talk to someone who knows something about networking and/or firewalls on an appropriate forum.
Configuring your network and/or firewall is beyond the scope of this forum, which is devoted to issues using the iPhone.

How can we verify that charges from iTunes are authentic when there is no record of them otherwise?

If you purchased something, the charges are authentic.

  • How can I verify that backup media is workable?

    Dear Experts,
I do backup SQL backup on Hard Disk everyday, then use NT BACKUP to external TAPE DRIVE, report is showing no any error and completed backup, questions, how can I verify that backup media is workable?
    Best and Regards,
    wilson

    Hi Wilson,
In SQL Enterprise manager , there is an option to verify your backup .
You need to enable this verification by checkting the box. If this option is enabled , after taking the backup , it will go for the verification and give you the result .
If it is verified successful, it means, the backup has been written fine in the Tape/HDD , and it will be
    restored fine.
Even if this verify option is done, SAP reccomends to perform a test restoration of the backup to a test
system in order to make sure everything working fine .

  • How can I verify an odd Email came from Verizon?

Today an email arrived apparently from Verizon, with the following message:

PS: Incidently, trying to "post" this very message containing that "copied/pasted" email content here resulted in this error message:
" Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."
That makes it even MORE suspect.

Most email clients allow you to view the embedded header information.  This should show the path of the message from the sender to you.  It may give you insight as to where the message came from.
P.S. the posting error is a bug in this forum's software (Lithium).  I've seen it myself more times than I can count sadly.
You will get this message when copying/pasting unless you use the word editor in the text editor toolbar.
Copying/pasting into the word editor will strip the invalid HTML and post your text without any error messages.
KaLin, I get the posting error all the time and I NEVER paste anything into the message like you suggest as being the issue.  I get it when I simply quote a message that I am replying to.  In fact, I just now got the error when I was trying to post this reply.  This is a well documented issue that was discussed in the Community Leader's forum and dropped by Verizon/Lithium.
I truly apologize to this thread's OP, but I really had to respond to KaLin's assumption of what was happening when they knew not about which they replied.  (Other words come to mind in response KaLin's comment but my parents taught me not to use them.)

  • HT5622 How can I verify if an email is truly coming from Apple?

I'm receiving various emails which I think are not from Apple but they look like....the sender is: Apple@appleES_account.js.com and they ask to verify my account icloud because someone has tried to connect with another ip address... there is a link to a page in which I should insert my username, pwd, credit car number, etc..
Then I enter in icloud and I do not see anything strange, not alerts, nor invites to verify...
The look and feel of the email I'm receiving is quite strange...
How can I verify id Apple is really sending me the messages?
    Thanks,

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    The email is not genuine.
DO NOT ENTER ANY DETAILS ANYWHERE in the page you have accessed.

  • New Apple Mail - When replying to an email, it doesn't maintain the same account that the email was sent to

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion. I have 5 different pop accounts in Apple Mail. It used to be that when I replied to a message that was sent to account 4, it would default the reply-from to be account 4. Now, whenever I hit reply, the default sender is account 1... the one that is chosen in preferences under Composing > Send new messages from:...
How do I get it to always reply from the account to which the email was sent?

At time I am not going to try to answer for two reasons.  The latest version of Mountain Lion is 10.8.2 and that will update your Apple Mail to Version 6.1 (1498). I hope this is very helpful for you?

  • How can I verify that Adobe AE CC has properly updated to v12.2

Adobe Updater keeps saying I have the latest version, but I'm not so sure.
    Here's why.
The About box still shows AE version 12.0.0.404
The file date for AfterFX.exe remains 5/23/2013 and also shows as version 12.0.0.404
Features that are advertised as new in version 12.1 do not appear:
(including: command for moving anchor point to center of content)
       4. Features that are advertised as new in version 12.2 also do not appear:
(including: command for converting a parametric shape layer path to a Bezier path)
That said, both AE and CC panel both show After Effects as being the most current (although they do not mention a version #)
I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, and then using CC to reinstall, no change.
I have also manually downloaded and installed the update to 12.2... no change.
    Any suggestions?
    TIA.

    //answering my own post below
Last night I was notified by CC that AE had yet another update. Cool, maybe this one would be the one that would take. Nope.
After applying the update, AE was still hung on version 12.0.0.404. Further frustrating was the contradictory assurance from the CC proggie that AE was indeed up to the most current version.
How can this be? I wish I could say it was a stroke of genius on my part that solved the riddle, but it was really just dumb luck.
While exploring the updates that I had previously downloaded, I noticed a subfolder in my download folder called "Adobe After Effects CC". Now this is on a completely separate drive than the one that hosts my working copy of AECC which was installed at, and is run from, the default location on my C drive. I peered inside the errant folder and saw what looks to be a viable install of AECC?! I verified the version numbers were correct on AfterFX.exe. For some reason that remains a mystery, Adobe CC had installed, without user initiative or notification, a second copy of AECC on a different drive and in a subfolder of my downloads folder.
To fix the problem, I replaced the old files with the new ones, deleted a few plugins that have changed due to the updates, reentered my serials for a few plugins, and everything works as it should....... that is, until the next update
    Woohoo!
TLDR; During a reinstall and/or update process, AECC may install to non-default location. If your updates have not applied, search your drives for an errant copy of AE.

  • How can I verify that my Apple Express is "absolutely" extending my Apple Extreme?

    Greetings,
I purchased an Apple Express to extend my Apple Extreme due to intermittent Wi-Fi signal in part of my home.
I connected it and it automatically configured the Express to extend my Apple Extreme.
My question is how exactly can I verify absolutely that my devices (laptops, iPad's, etc.) are connecting through the Express and NOT the Extreme as they were before. (the Express is closer to all devices than the Extreme).
There has to be a way to verify this, however, I can't find it through searching the web.
To note, signal bars on devices have not and do not change.  Meaning they have 3 bars with, and 3 bars without, regardless.
    Thank you in advance.

For Windows-based computers, try entering the following at the Command Prompt: netsh wlan show networks mode=Bssid|findstr "BSSID"  You can also try: netsh wlan show all
This should provide you with a list of all Wireless Access Points that is detected by your PC.
For the iPad, I am not aware of any built-in apps that will show this. However, apps, like Net Analyzer should do the trick. There's also a Net Analyzer Lite version for free.

  • How can I verify that Firefox Add-0n is safe if author not verified?

I would love some Add-ons from Mozilla.com but when I click on download it says author not verified. How can I be sure it is safe and doesn't contain malware?

When you call DIG_Block_Out, NI-DAQ first downloads your data into the 6534 memory. Only after the download is done (which should happen at about 80 MB/s) it starts outputting data and DIG_Block_Out returns. So it is safe for you to reuse your PC memory buffer as soon as DIG_Block_Out returns.
This is assuming your entire buffer fits in memory. If it doesn't, NI-DAQ will download all the data that fits and start the transfer, and as more 6534 memory becomes available the DMA channel will fill it up.
The 6534 has a 16 sample FIFO and an additional 32 MB of memory for each handshaking group. So for 32-bit transfers you can fit 8 MSamples, for 16-bit transfers you can fit 16 MSamples (per group), and for 8-bit transfers you can fit 32 MSamples (per group) in the 6534
    memory.
