Hi, does anyone out there know how to view a clip in final cut pro frame by frame. I don't really want to use the jogging function as you cannot see each individual frame just all the frames snapped together. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

How can i reset elapsed time VI

I am using the elapsed time express VI along with an "in range" comparison VI as the exit control for a torque test. If the voltage signal from the torque transducer is within the specified range for the target time, the loop exits. If the voltage signal is out of range, the elapsed time resets to zero.
My problem arises when i exit the loop prematurely due to excessive torque. Like if torque reaches the transducer limit, I want to exit the loop to prevent damage. When i exit the loop like this, the elapsed time VI continues counting even though the loop has been stopped. The next time the program enters the state, it exits immediately (because torque is initially zero, and the timer has passed the set time). After that iteration the program behaves as i expect it to, because the VI has reinitialized I assume. I have been stuck on this problem for several days, and I'm going to start breaking company computers if i can't fix it.
So my question(s)... is there a way to reset the elapsed time VI upon entering the while loop? is there a way to reset the VI from the 'torque limit' state immediately following the exit? I also use a 'resume test' button so the user can restart the test after checking the unit,hardware,etc. can i wire something to that button press to restart the elapsed time VI?
My 7.1 vi is attached, the elapsed time problem being in the 'exercise' state. immediately following an 'exercise' torque limit, it goes to the 'torque limit' state, which i thought could be used to reinitialize the elapsed time somehow.

I have a similar problem ,
I use a elapsed tiem function ,with a target of 1s time.
i want to caluclate mean of samples in this 1 second
but what i see i get 8-9 mean values in 1 second
i also wired my i of while loop to auto reset with case structure,but even then i see so many average sample values in a second
to be more precise i want data like this:
when my DAQ board gives some 1000 samples per second. i need mean of these 1000 samples,but not all 1000 sanmples.
for this i included a elapsed time vi with taget of 1s. (didnt forget to reset after 1s).
but what i see is it gives values like this
12:12:01     d1 d2 d3
12:12:01     d1 d2 d3
but i expect like
12:12:01   d1 d2 d3
12:12:02   d1:d2:d3
did i go any where wrong in my Vi.

How can i decrease the fuzziness of my video clip in imovie?

I have imported video clips into imovie and when i crop out the background so the person is closer, it becomes fuzzy ... so i uncropped the clip and now i have exported the video using quick time and chose the 1920 x 1080 HD size which made it a little better although still kind of fuzzy ... when the screen is small, it is clear ... just want to know if there is something else i can look at ... thanks everyone!!

So you have done the Copy to iTunes button in iMovie on iOS? You have to plug in to iTunes, under your device, Apps > File Sharing, and find it there. Then click Save to... and save it to your desktop. This is still in the format for iMovie MOBILE, so in iMovie on the computer, you will need to do Command + I to import, then choose iMovie for iOS project.

Not to sounds rude, but this issue has been covered so much in the media that I find it hard to believe that people still don't know. However all iOS devices, never and will never support flash natively. Google "apple adobe flash war". There are some alternatives, try skyfire browser in the app store. Not perfect but might help. None the less, most sites these days support html5 video which runs on iPad. I am actually having hard time running across a site which doesn't support iPad. however that is my personal experience based on my personal interests.

you ceated an archive - that doesn't mean, you imported them in iM, which is not only for editing, but for achiving too. nor into the iLife suite of apps, esp. iTunes, which is the 'media centre' on MacOS.
choose Import from Archive. in a preview window you see each 'take'. choose All or select which to import. on import, iM will create so-called Events=groups of clips defined by day of recording.
After import, iM allows to preview each clip or Event, edit them in Projects, share them to iTunes for playback on your Mac, iPad, iPod, AppleTV, YouTube, VImeo .........

If you want to see what is in a file that is backed up by time machine then you have to restore the entire file. Having said that I have had good experience with Time Machine and individual files... if the file is there then all of it's components are almost for sure there. A way to get around this in Aperture would be to use referenced images. The images then still exist as individual files and can be backed up and restored individually. You would have to do so on a file by file basis though and your album information would still only be saved within the Aperture library.

I assumed that you are using Time Machine to make backups to your new Time Capsule (TC) ... correct? If so, then you would normally use the Time Machine interface to locate files that have been already backed up.
For example, let's say that you had a document in your \Documents folder. For some reason you deleted this file, and then, decided that you still needed it. The "normal" process to retrieve it would be to open the \Documents folder in a Finder window on your Desktop ... then open the Time Machine interface. Once opened, you will be presented with not only that folder, but as many versions of that folder as the number of times Time Machine backed it up. Using the forward/backwards (in time) arrows, you would move to a folder that has the recently deleted file. From there you can easily retrieve the file.

I figured they would load when I turned on my cellular data, but only my text messages loaded. I would like to see the iMessages I missed because I believe some of them were fairly important.

As far as I understand with this, iMessage works the same as regular txts.The iMessages are held on the messaging server for 72hrs if it's not picked up by then it expires. So those that you didn't get you will never get. Sorry.

Is the backup software Time Machine??
You can open the TM backup as long as you haven't used profiles to backup. Or encypted it in latest Mountain Lion.

What do you mean by "time capsule pic"
Do you mean pictures stored on the TC?
The ipad has no ability to access files.. so you need a file app.. there are plenty of them available.. filebrowser is one. What application you use to view files will depend on the format of the files.. google for that.
The TC has no media server ability whatsoever.. it is a dumb as a board hard disk in a router. And should be treated as such.. especially to remember they die.. rather badly and suddenly.. and are difficult to backup should they do so.. it is design as a backup target for TM.. but TM cannot backup a TC or any other network drive.
