Not to sounds rude, but this issue has been covered so much in the media that I find it hard to believe that people still don't know. However all iOS devices, never and will never support flash natively. Google "apple adobe flash war". There are some alternatives, try skyfire browser in the app store. Not perfect but might help. None the less, most sites these days support html5 video which runs on iPad. I am actually having hard time running across a site which doesn't support iPad. however that is my personal experience based on my personal interests.

In the Mac side of things, backups usually come in two flavors: clones or incrementals.
A bootable clone is a bit-for-bit copy of all essential files in the startup volume. If using the Lions, clones can be made using CarbonCopyCloner or just plain old Disk Utility. These backups represent the safest protection of your info, but take the longest to do. Recovery is an inverse process: you copy the clone back into the internal drive.
Incremental backups start with a complete backup of the startup volume and only copy whatever changed from the previous run. OS X includes the fully integrated Time Machine backup utility to do this. It is extremely easy to do and takes the least amount of time. Recovery is another matter altogether since you have to start with a freshly installed instance of the OS and have to apply all intervening backups to bring the result to the latest saved version.
As for where the backup takes place, the recommended media is an external dedicated drive or drives connected via the fastest interface available on your Mac: Thunderbolt, USB3, Firewire, or USB2. Network-based backups, wired or wireless, are attractive but may not offer the same performance and hence take longer. Also important to note that the entire drive need not be completely dedicated to a single backup. The Mac's EFI firmware infrastructure allows for an unlimited number of partitions on a hard drive and each can be used for either type of backups.

If you clicked "Never" then you have created an exception that you need to remove.

I have request with pivot table which is once displayed as bars and once (duplicate view) displayed as pie.
I used view selector to let the user select which view he desire to watch.
Suddenly, after it already works fine, when I changed the view selecotr from the (default) bars view to the pie view, I get the following error message:
'View pivotTableView!1 is either missing or doesn't support this format'
When running from Answers design view of the same request, it runs fine.
There is no issue regarding the data, since the bars view is displayed ok.
Does anyone know the meaning of this phenomena?

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

I have partially downloaded the new version of adobe flash player on mozilla through the plugin option. it wont let me open it or watch any videos until i download it completely. how can i fix this?

Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

The warning is safe to ignore. We have some people working on Thunderbird with a very German view of security and privacy. It works out well for making Thunderbird secure and safeguarding privacy. Not so well for warnings people do not understand.
In this case the warning is telling you your user name and password as well as all your mail is going to and from the server as plain text, so if someone wanted to they would have no trouble sniffing the traffic to read your mail or get your login credentials. ISPs did it this way in the past as a matter of course, as it reduces support calls and they claim the traffic is only internal to their network. Not a good argument given that Google and Yahoo as well as Microsoft are all taking steps to ensure all internal traffic is encrypted.
But knowing the risk, ignoring the warning is not really an issue. Most mail after all is the most boring read to anyone else. However if your a Doctor or a scientist doing secret research then plain text email is not really going to cut it anyway.

How Do I Backup A Site That Has Check In/Out Enabled?

for the client to access via Contribute. The problem that has arose
is that I am unable to copy my local version of the root directory
due to the fact that all (or most) of the files are no locked. Is
there a quick and easy way to backup my local files without having
to unlock the individual HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc. files one by

Also, does anyone know of a Extension that would automate the
backup of a remote site? I have seen this feature when using a
certain web host and was curious if I could do this from within
Dreamweaver. Honestly, I would like that feature built into the
Dreamweaver software because everyone should want a backup of their
files and folders, right?

If this is your first website you might want to consider switching to an application that is currently being supported by the developers (iWeb has been discontinued for 2 years now) and has the modern features that most come to expect in such an application.
If you search this forum for "iweb alternative" you'll find many topics discussing alterantive apps. The one that is most iWeb like is Everweb and has been reviewed favorable in this forum.
Everweb has a demo version that you can use to try to duplicate what you have in iWeb before you purchase it.

Now, If I search the site from MySite, I can find the site, click on the elipsis and click on Follow, so, if the site has this feature disable, why can I follow the site?

According to your description, my understanding is that after you disable Following Content feature for a site, and you could also follow the site via Hover Panel Follow button in search result.
As your description, I could reproduce this issue.
And also I found that :
I searched some documents in the site that I have diabled Following Content feature, the Follow button in the hover panel also displayed. If I clicked it, nothing happened.
Go to Search Center, disable the Following Content feature. Then seach another site that I enabled the feature, the Follow button in hover panel also displayed. If I clicked it, nothing happened.
It seems that the Following Content feature work for the current site Follow button. If the feature is enabled, the button can work normally. If the feature is disabled, the button in search result hover panel will have no response.
So, if you don’t want users to follow sites in seach center, please disable the Following Content feature in the Search Center.
