How can I watch 1080p on IPad Air?

I just bought an IPad Air last week. Unfortunately I am not able to get the option of playing 1080p videos on YouTube. The max resolution I can watch is only 720p. The same video has 1080p when watching on PC. How can I solve this issue ?

Hi Tobz_tjv,
If you are interested in more info on 1080p compatibility, you may find the following article helpful:
Currently 1080p content is compatible with iPad (3rd generation), Apple TV (3rd generation), and a Mac or PC.

How can I print from my ipad air without buying a new "air print" compatable printer? I currently have a HP Photosmart plus B210. Can I make that work?

Although you have posted in a Mavericks forum, implying that you have a Mac computer, your profile doesn't say that you have one. Printer Pro requires the printer to be connected to a Mac.

  • How can I download iTunes for iPad Air?

Any idea about how I can download iTunes for my iPad Air? If it it is to be downloaded from the App Store, what is the name of the App?
Plus, how do I sync it to my iTunes library on my Windows PC?

The iTunes App on an iDevice is not the same as the iTunes Application for a computer.

  • How Can I Tell if My iPad Air Replacement is New or Refurbished

I'm getting a replacement iPad Air because mine had a problem with it, there were loose magnets in it. I've heard that people have another person's data on apps they have just downloaded and that makes me really uncomfortable.
How can I tell if my replacement is brand new or just refurbished? Is there info in the serial/model number?
    Thanks.

You might hear a lot of things on the Internet but that doesn't make them true.
If you got a refurbished iPad from Apple it would be completely empty.
Refurbished iPads are identified on the packaging.
You can see the model number in Settings > Genera l> About > Model. The model number has a two-letter code, a number and some more letters. The last part stands for the country/region. The first letter can be "F" (refurbished), "M" (normal retail), or "P" (personalized / engraved).

  • How can I export photos from iPad Air to PC?

I purchased the iPad especially for a 3 month holiday to Europe rather than carry about a heavier and more valuable laptop PC. I used the iPad to store my 25000 plus photos (taken on a Nikon camera and imported via an SD card reader) from the holiday (in fact ran out of storage on the iPad). I paid for iCloud storage space to add security against loosing my photos through damage or theft of the iPad. This too maxed out early when at 55Gb I learned that I could not get any more iCloud storage. So that back-up method was inadequate. Now I've arrived home with half of my photos backed up on the iCloud, which I am yet to be able to see on the iCloud and the bulk of my photos are on the iPad, which I can see yet can't work out a way of exporting them. All in all I'm feeling like I made a serious mistake getting an Apple product. These are my photos and I just want to copy them across to my PC yet they seem to be imprisoned within the Apple world. I'd appreciate advice as to how to retrieve my photos back to a more user friendly place.
    Thanks, Greg.

FYI - If you go on another trip.
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.

  • How can i watch video on IPAD screen with Apple TV?

i have apple tv and itune libary on the same network.
i am wondering if i can watch movies stored in the libary on the ipad screen without turning on the tv or the computer. i have no problem watch the movies on TV thru apple tv. thanks.

If your computer is turned off, the iTunes library is no longer available to the iPad or the Apple TV. You can connect the iPad to the computer and use iTunes to sync your library to the iPad; this copies your music and movies to the iPad, and you can play them whenever and wherever you wish.
If your iPad does not have enough memory to store all your movies, use the "Selected movies only" option and check off the movies you want to copy; the rest will not be copied.

  • How can I get my new iPad Air to steam Netflix in HD?

When I turn on movie titled "example short 23.976" on Netflix app, it shows that it streams in about 500 kps. But when I stream the same film on my older iPad 3, it shows that it streams 4300 kps. I have comcast internet.
Do you know a fix for this issue?

Tom, thanks for your quick reply. I'm a commerical photographer using Canon 5D mk2's mostly and have in the past just downloaded images to a mac book for backup. I really liked the compact size of the Ipad and just got the retina model with the camera connection kit and seem to be hearing that CF readers can't be used with it b/c they draw too much power. Seems like I remember reading I could use a cord that might have come with my cameras to download directly to the Ipad. I haven't tried it yet as I can't find the connection but then you just said it can't be done?
I'm COMPLETLY lost as to your "first pluging in a flash drive to my computer, advice. Do you mean Ipad when you say computer?  "then put your movie/photo files into the folder." HOW????????
Then plug it into the Ipad??????     TOTALLY lost.
Also your saying just "do a google search for a reader doesn't work b/c NONE are able to work with the newer Ipads b/c they use TOO much power or so everyone says everyone that have tried.
Hope you can help a little more b/c I'm really getting frustrated with all the conflicting advice!
    Thanks, Dennis  [email protected]

  • How can I watch on my iPad a movie I purchased on Apple TV

I bought a TV series fron iTunes while on my Apple TV, and I don't see it in my videos on my iPad...The reverse is possible of course, I usually buy movies etc. from iTunes on my IPad, and then I can find it and watch it on my Apple TV...Any suggestions to fix this, please?

On your iPad verify that you have the automatic downloads selected.
Settings, iTunes and App Store, turn them all on (except use cellular data unless you are ok with using cell data)

  • How can I backup my new iPad Air to my old PowerMac G5

I'd like to backup my new iPad to my PowerMac G5 running under Leopard.
However, the latest iTunes version compatible with Leopard is iTunes 10.6.3 which seems not to recognize the iPad: No device shows in the Devices pane of iTunes Preferences window ...
I've read here and there that the minimum Mac requirements are Snow Leopard / Intel and iTune 11.
Is there a 3rd party app that could help and that would not relie on iTunes.
    Thanks

Use iCloud to backup the iPad. Many users don't use their iPads with iTunes at all anymore. Personally, I would never rely only on iCloud, but I would guess that millions of iOS users are now using only iCloud and not backing up with iTunes at all.

  • How can I locate my stolen ipad air

Hi as you can see from the subject box I have had my Ipad stolen in a house burglary, I did not activate the "find my Ipad" as I had only had it a couple of weeks! I have all the relevant numbers to my Ipad. Is there any way that I can find out where it may be at any given time ? Can Apple see if the machine is actually working at any given time ? What are the chances of me getting it back ?
Your thoughts and comments will be very much appreciated.

In addition to Kappy's excellent suggestions, I would like to include getting any credit card you may have reissued and changing all of your passwords.
