When you type a letter you can see that letter for a second and then it changes to the dot. That's how it works. I suggest writing the password down first.

Foxsportsgo.com has said they will be streaming and will not required verification of an eligable paid cable/satalite subscription to watch the Super Bowl only. So crossing fingers that it works cause I don't get regular antenna signal where I live, nor do I pay for cable/satalite services.

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

How can I change the User Password expiry date

User password expires on 12th May 2007. I want to extend to 12th Jun 2007. Is there any option in Oracle.

You should modify the user's profile, and set a timeframe:
ALTER PROFILE DEFAULT LIMIT
PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME = num_of_days;
This way your password will be valid from the last time it was changed and for the time frame previously defined.

1)you need to give the function code to that save in the Function Keys of that screen from the GUI Status.
2) while filling the field catalog of that field you need to put the
wa_fieldcat_edit-edit = c_x.
i.e use the edit and append to that field catalog internal table.

I just bought a used computer and i am currently updating this computer to Mavericks upgrade for free. How can I wipe it clean, and also how can I reset the password from the sellers password?
You really have to start with the MBP as it came out of the box. Read these directions;

I've got some apps on my I-phone 4 such as MTS TV, iPLANETA ONLINE, IPROSTO TV that contains some interesting tv programs that you can see live, but using Airplay I only can listen to what they're saying but I cannot see the images... And how can I watch all my other apps present on my iphone??

Make sure all your software is up to date, video airplay was enabled in a later update than audio airplay.
Not all apps and websites support video airplay. Developers may simply not gotten around to enabling video airplay in their apps/websites or they may not actually want to. -
How can I watch the video on the ABC news website?
You guys have talked about this issue before, but just in case there has been any changes or ideas I was wondering...
Is there a way for us Mac people to watch video on the ABC news web site? I used to be able to when ABC was using Real Media. But they went in house and I couldn't watch their archived stuff. Like World News Tonight programs.
Oddly, there is video on the site that I can watch. Like shorter stories.
Also, on MSNBC, I can watch the daily news broadcast, but can't watch other video on the MSNBC site.
I'm not really computer savy, but I do understand this has something to do with "the platform" ABC news is using.
Any ideas or good results?

But here's the deal, some of the videos do and always have played on the ABC website for me. But not all. The free stuff on the first page all plays. The other videos on other pages do not. Not now, and not before when I had a paid subscription. It's the archived material or whole World News Tonight and Nightline shows that are not playing for me.
But again, the individual stories on the front page of the site do play.
Same problem with the MSNBC website. But with a slight twist. It says I don't have the needed video player. And can't watch the smaller stories on the front page of the site. However, when I try to watch the webcasts of the entire NBC NIGHTLY NEWS with BRIAN WILLIAMS, I can watch it with no problem at all!
Plus, I do have the Macromedia Flash player installed on my computer. And it still doesn't work.

How can i disable the top sites on my safari browser?
How can I remove the Top Sites features when I open safari so that the whole page defaults to Google?
That doesn't really disable "top sites," it just hides the page from regular view. One can still select "show top sites" in the History menu. I would like it turned off. I don't want this feature to be accessible at all. There should be a setting that turns it off entirely.
I don't begrudge other people's preferences if they like it, but there should be the ability to simply deactivate the feature. I don't find it useful, I find it creepy, like the browser is stalking me. I know it just uses data from my history, but I don't care. It feels like my browser is stalking me and invading my privacy. Since it's my browser, I want to tell it to knock it off, once and for all. -

Or how I can use a password protected HDD?I am sorry but the last poster is incorrect. You can remove the password as follows :-
1) Start the computer
2) Enter the BIOS
3) Scroll down to HDD Password box
4) Select "REGISTERED" in the password field
5) When prompted enter the existing password
6) When prompted for the new password press the "backspace" key" once
7) When prompted for the [assword the second time, press the "backspace" key once more
8) A message to say that the password has been changed will appear and the word UNREGISTERED will appear in the password field
9) Select "exit and save"
At the next power up you will not be asked for the password. -
How do I find the save passwords key when I have previously said "don't save" for a site?
I can save passwords on new sites. On some sites I am not asked to save. Perhaps I previously said "Never Save" for the site. How do I override this?

In your preferences (Tools -> Options in the menu), go to the "Security" tab, and beside the "Remember Passwords for sites" checkbox, you will see a button for "Exceptions...". If you've previously told Firefox not to remember a password for a site, it will appear in the list that pops up. Removing the site from the Exceptions list will make it ask you again next time whether you want to save your password.
Please note that some web sites request Firefox not to save your password (many banking sites are like this), in which case you can't save your password without more work. Also, Flash login pages generally don't work with the password manager. -

- sercurity >> user >> define
- search for user you want to reset password for him and set new password and reenter it and save what you make
- when this user reenter with the new password he will prompted to reenter new password and he will done as he like
FOR changing their reponsibility you can doing:
- sercurity >> user >> define
- search for user you want to change his reponsibility and:-
* if you want to add new one to hime you can navagate to reponsibility field and enter the reponsibility you need and set its active date(from - to)
*save what you made
* if you want to revoke reponsibility from him you can set date of from field = date of to field
*save waht you made
