How can i watch tv shows on my 30gig ipod?
i sync tv shows into my ipod but my ipod doesn't have the option "tv shows" in the video. can anyone tell me wat im doing wrong or try telling me how to add the tv show option into my ipod?
OK...if you're seeing Videos in your menu, then you should see TV Shows within that menu....if the shows have actually been synced. Do you sync automatically or manually? If automatic, you might need to check your sync settings. With iPod connected to iTunes, select the iPod in DEVICES and click on the Video (or TV Shows, can't remember which it is) tab at the top of the Summary window. Make sure you have it set to sync all.

Use AirPlay if the app supports it, not all do.

I am trying to watch a tv show but you have to have Adobe Flash Player!
Download the app Photon, it will allow you to play adobe flash. It is a different browser. You use it to go to the site you want to watch and press the lightning rod in the upper right hand corner and it plays flash. I have only used it a few times so I don't know if it works for all adobe flash, but everything I have tried it on has worked. Hope this helps.FYI I have had my iPad for less than a week so I am by no means an expert.

Tech support seemed to understand the question but had no answer. Why would an album with only one artist show the artist but an album with multiple artist not show any of them. The album art show various in iTunes. That makes sense but on my iPod I would expect to see all artists.
Wish I did. I tried the group function but that didn't help in iTunes. The search function is the best I came up with. I can answer the question do you have susch and such artist. But I can't browse for an artist I don't remember exactly or have misspelled. Fortunately I don't think I've bought anything from iTunes that i already had. If you can't see an artist it's possible you think you don't have something you actually do have. Sorry, still hoping for a better work around or better yet a fix.

Demo the same thing happened to me. I purchased a seasons pass for Sons of Anarchy Season 6 and I've got the eposides on my IPad but Airplay won't allow me to watch the episodes without an internet connection or WiFi. A movie rented on an iPhone can only be viewed on an iPhone. If you want to view on TV you need to rent directly on ATV or via computer (and stream using home-sharing)

Are you using mirroring or using airplay within iTunes? If you are truly mirroring then you can view anything that is displayed on your computer through Apple Tv

If the airline doesn't offer WiFi (or doesn't allow streaming over the WiFi they offer), then you can't. You'll need to rent or purchase a movie from another source so that you can download it onto your device ahead of time.

and many other codecs/tools to watch anything.
Guess the iOS isn't really all that it's cracked up to be, ignoring the wider world out there.
Your only choice to complain to Apple about closed devices they make, but of course they know this already and using the iPad as a cheap "netbook" halo effect device so you get to upgrade to a Mac, just like they do with iPhones and iPods.
In the meanwhile they are slowly closing the door on OS X, a little at a time so it's not noticeable.
Pretty soon the excuse will be "sorry I can't play your video you sent me mom, I've got a Mac"
