How can I watch videos that require Flash Player?

I would like to watch video content that asks for Flash Player which apparently isn't supported by Apple (or vice versa).

Adobe has stopped development of flash for all mobile devices.
If you want flash content you will have to download a third party browser.
Photo, puffin, skyfire, iswifter are a few.

As flash isn't supported on the iPad (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/), you could try apps such as Skyfire which claim to support flash, though their review are mixed. A number of websites (especially news sites) have their own apps in the App Store, so you could check to see if your favourite site(s) have apps.

Flash is not supported on the iPad - and as Adobe have announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites have their own apps in the App Store.

  • After the latest update for Adobe Flash, I can't watch movies that require Flash.

Movies from You Tube and others that require Flash will not run. When I right click on it, it says Movie Not Downloaded. I am running Windows 7 64 Bit. I had no problem before the update.

    Here is the screen shot

  • Videos that require flash player constantly restart and freeze

Running Windows 7 and have tried multiple browers and versions of Adobe Flash Player (all set back to the latest versions as of right now), and have updated my video drivers, but no matter what if I go on any website like YouTube that uses Flash Player, I can watch a video for a couple minutes and then Flash Player will freeze and reboot the video to the beginning. Closing out the window doesn't help, refreshing the page doesn't help either, it will still just let me watch for a few minutes and then freeze and restart. Very frusterated here, any idea what the problem is??

-Using 64 bit version and I've tried literally every available copy of Flash Player located in the archives. It only started doing this I'd say about a month ago maybe.
-Not sure which parts of the dxdiag report you need but this is the overall system info:
    Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533)
               Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
    System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA
           System Model: Satellite L555D
                   BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL
              Processor: AMD Turion(tm) II Dual-Core Mobile M520 (2 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
                 Memory: 4096MB RAM
    Available OS Memory: 3838MB RAM
Page File: 2363MB used, 5311MB available
            Windows Dir: C:\windows
        DirectX Version: DirectX 11
    DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: Using System DPI
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
        DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled
         DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode
-The only difference I saw was that non-HTML loaded significantly faster. It usually takes a minimum of 3 min though before I might have restart trouble.

Is there an Apple app that would allow viewing videos that require Adobe Flash Player?

What you can do is use any of the flash browser applications (search under those terms in the App Store) which all work in varying ways and with varying degrees of success on different types of Flash content. All are free, I think, and you might have to play around a bit to find which one might work (and again, it's possible that none will) with the specific kind of thing that you're most interested in seeing.

  • Can't watch video-no Adobe flash player

Since Apple doesn't allow the use of Adobe Flash Player is ther another kind of flash player to download onto the iPad? There are many videos I can't watch because of this problem.

    1. You can try Skyfire. It is in the app store.
    2. You can try remote software like Splashtop Drop. Your computer must remain on to use this.
    3. You should read this statement from Mr. Jobs to know why he decided not to have Flash on iOS devices:
    http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
    4. If you disagree and would like to tell Apple you disagree, go here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
That covers it, we are all users like yourself, Apple people aren't here so further argument is pointless.

  • Can't watch video and play games that require flash player

I'm using windows7 family premium version
internet explorer 10 last version 10.0.5
    exploitation system 64 bytes
flash player verson 11..700.202 the latest one
So as i say can't watch video and play games that require flash player, they keep asking me to install flashplayer... i did everything i read in the forums, unistall it, clean the memory, reinstall it, disabe active x etc... but still have the problem.
More specific about my problem is that: let's say that i'm trying to look at you tutorial video under thi forum  Re: How do I fix Windows permission problems with Flash Player? i'm just seeing a black screen.  So I'm able to guess where is the play button so when i push on that place, i can hear the sound of that video.  Second step guessing where is the  enlarge  button, and when the screen is enlarged, magic i can see and hear the video.... So you figure that it's impossible to use my computer like that and guess right all the time, so....
Second fact, it seems that bug happened after an update (windows or explorer) and i even talk with a microsott tech who was not able to resolve it... But if i'm  undoning  the update and go back to a prior image, i have no problems with flash player anymore... it' been moths that i'm delaying my updates cause i cannot find any solutions.... So Please please please, help me .... don't know what's the problem is and i'm not a pro, don't know what to do.  (Excuse my english it's my second language)
    Thank you

The first thing I'd try is updating your video driver.
Windows: how do I update the device driver for my video/display adapter?
If you still have problems and since you're using Windows 7 x64, please check to see if you have the following Windows update installed:
    KB2670838 – Platform Update for Windows 7 x64
If so, please uninstall it and try Flash Player out again.

  • How do I watch something that requires adobe flash?

I'm new to apple. I can't watch things that require Adobe Flash. Is there an app to download so t hat I can see these things?

1st:  Check the App Store to see if there is an app for the service you are trying to watch the video from.
2nd:  If no luck, you can purchase an App such as iSwifter, Photon or Puffin, which do offer more Flash viewing content success.  Buy the full paid version as the free lite versions don't offer much......

Or... you can just use a 3rd party solution.
Best solution for streaming audio and video to your Apple TV from an Mac or Windows PC... without using iTunes... is Airparrot. You can screen share your Mac to your Apple TV. It even lets you select your overscan/underscan and video quality.
Download it and install. It shows up in your system tray. As long as you are on the same network as your Apple TV, just right click the Airparrot icon and select Apple TV as your Airplay device.
    http://airparrot.com
Then hook up your wireless keyboard and mouse and plop on the couch for some supersized web browsing.
It's 20 minute sessions for the free version, $9.99 for full and can gift to someone for $4.99 if you buy for yourself.
