After you've answerd the question posed by Sumesh_22, I suggest that your next most important activity is to create a backup, Time Machine or Bootable, whichever suits.
I favour a bootable, on a separate hard drive.

I can't sign on to icloud. It says I need an icloud account. I click the help option it send me back to the same page. I reinstall it nothing.

I have an up to date version of Aperture on my Mac Pro, and I would like to install it on my new Mac book Pro. I have the original installation disks for Aperture 1 and 2. I cant remember how I got to Aperture 3, I think it was via a web download but not sure. I have checked my purchases in the App Store but there is no indication of me buying an upgrade to Aperture 3.
Ive tried to download it from the App Store but it wants me to pay again.
Can anyone help on how to install Aperture 3 on my new Macbook .

BTW: Your Aperture 3 serial number will be displayed in the "About" panel - the panel you see, when you use the command "About Aperture" from the Aperture menu in the main menu bar. -

If I use Boot camp to install windows do I need a windows disc, will i lose all my data, etc. If so how to I save them. Can I switch back to osx after I install windows. I have just installed a 2TB time capsule on my iMac i7, it see my second 1TB hard drive but the 256 SSD doesn't come up in the list of hard drives I can back up. How can I enable the time machine to see my first SSD 256gb hard drive?

Are you definitely looking at the App Store application (from your Dock or the applications folder)? It does not mean the Apple Store website. You'll have the App Store provided you already have 10.6.8 or later installed - if you're not sure, click the Apple menu on the top left of your desktop, and click About This Mac.

I accepted/installed an update for iMovie and it turns out that this version is not compatible with my graphics card. So now I can no longer open or use iMovie. Any ideas on how to get around this - how to revert to the previous version??
Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.
