I have iTunes 4.2 installed on my G4 running OS 10.3.9 and I want to upgrade to iTunes 6.0.5. When I run the installer and get to the Installation Type window all the packages under action are disabled. If I move the cursor over the word Disabled I get the following message:
A newer version of this package is already installed.

No idea what makes your Mac think it is.
Remove the 'iTunes(x).pkg' files from ./Library/Receipts and try installing again.

What have you tried to fix it ? If you haven't already done so then see if any of the following fix it :
- log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in
- close the iTunes store app via the multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the iTunes store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
- soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so if you only had one installation, you still have the option to install on a second without doing anything further than that. If you originally downloaded the purchase thru Adobe then you might find a download link available in your Adobe account online. Is your shuffle full after the Autofill? Does the playlist you selected as the source have more than 70 songs?
My 2nd gen 1GB shuffle currently has 140 songs on it, almost 100% full using Autofill. The number of songs depends on two factors. One is the average length of the songs. Longer songs take more space. A 20-minute symphony takes more space than a 4-minute pop song. The other key factor is the bit rate used for compression.
All of my songs are compressed using the AAC encoder at 256 kbps, which is Apple's current standard and the setting used for downloads from the iTunes Store. The same songs compressed at 128 kbps AAC takes up half the space. 320 kbps MP3 would use more space per song. If a lossless format, such as Apple Lossless or AIFF is used to encode, the sound quality is the best possibe, but the file size per song is MUCH higher.
If you think there is problem on the shuffle, you can try doing a Restore in iTunes. The Restore button is on the shuffle's Settings tab. This will erase the shuffle, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If there is data corruption on the shuffle's storage that is causing this problem, a Restore should fix it. -
Ok, first time here, so forgive me if Im repeating the question. I just ordered a NEW iPad 4 32gb from Amazon, but is actually being sold by a seller called "iPadShop". Although this seller got a high approval rating of 4.9 there were several reports of customers receiving used and refurbished iPads but sold as new. Once I receive mine how can I verify it is new. Also, even the ones that were new were purchased by this seller and then resold, which shortened the life of the 1 year warranty offered by Apple..?
If you just ordered it, I suggest you cancel your order as soon as possible. If you can't contact Amazon, call your credit card company and cancel payment on that. Why go through worrying about the ipad you are paying for as new? If it's to save money, then that can be defeated if you get a used or refurbished ipad with a less than full one year warranty. You'll be dealing with the ipad shop's return policy which could mean that once you open it, it's yours, unlike when you buy from Apple you have a full 14 days to return it even if you've opened it.
I looked at Amazon and did not see a price difference. If cost led you to buy from Amazon, what are you saving?
I suggest you buy it directly from Apple. If cost is an issue, consider buying a refurbished ipad from the Apple online Refurbished store. I would not buy a refurbished anything from anywhere but the Apple online refurb store.

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
Highlight Internal Speakers / Headphones
Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
2.Plug in and remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.

Which version of photoshop are you using?
After you define a custom pattern it should be added to the bottom of whatever patterns are already loaded.
For example, if you define a custom pattern and then go to Edit>Fill>Pattern, the newly defined pattern should have been added to the existing loaded patterns. -

Your iphone 4 must still be logged into your icloud account. Go to settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of page and tap Delete Account. This will remove all your data from the old device but not from icloud or your iphone 5.
