How can make adobe reader save the *.xfdf form data?

Hello, i got a big problem to save *.xfdf file. I can use acrobat pro to use EXPORTAS function to save *.xfdf, but adobe reader can't do it(I checked the api manual reader can't use this funciton). If any ieda can make reader to save form's data with *.xfdf ???

I am having the following Problem:
I open a PDF in Firefox with the Adobe Reader Plugin. ( Everything is up to date )
Now, when i press "print", the firefox print menu shows up, which does not contain any options
like printing multiple pages on 1 page, which is the functionality that i require.
( also multiple page ranges for page selection is not available in the firefox print menu )
Downloading the file and opening with Adobe on the computer ( and then pressing print ), however, gives me access to the complete print menu with all needed options.
Printing directly from the browser would be more comfortable, however.
Is there a way that i can change the print menu?

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the '''Browse ....''' button below the '''''Post a Reply''''' text box to upload the screenshot.

How to make adobe reader non copy-able

Hi,
I am using adobe reader 9, I need to create an PDF using MS, and I would not want the text to be copy-able,
checked the security setting, the content copable: Allowed
But I do not know how I can make it Not allowed.
Or just any way to make the content not copy-able.
Because I told my boss just use photoshop and save as PDF,
and he want it to be more simple, he want it to be done straight from MS,
and he want to make the contents non-copyable

How to set Adobe Reader as the default in Safari 6

When running 10.6, Safari defaulted to Adobe Reader to open documents not otherwise specified by an extension (e.g., docx). However, in 10.8 w/ 6.0 the default reader appears to be TextEdit - which returns garbage from my financial instituitions. I can download the file and then open with AR but how do I set 6.0 to default to AR rather than TextEdit? I am not given the option to select the program to open with by right/option clicking the file link and I am not sure I want to make AR the default for all .txt files.....

The plug-in is there - but the default still is textedit..... looking at Adobe's site they had some issues in the past with Lion and Safari 5.1 earlier this year..... maybe a solution is forthcoming from that corner? However, that was tied to Rosetta sooo....... I'll cogitate some more but any other ideas are welcome..... Thanks for your help this evening.....

How can I set and save the APN on my Z10 in Myanmar?

I have a blackberry z10 stl 100-2. I live in MYANMAR where there is a only one carrier "MPT". It allows every user to use internet by putting an APN name "mptnet" in 2 kyats per minute. Every handset can use data services by this way even blackberry bold 9900 included. But now I put this SIM card into my new Z10. After that I couldn't even set up the phone. So I sent this phone to Singapore and set up , then I have got back. I can use it for only phone call and can use internet via wifi connection. I can't save the APN at all although I type APN name in APN name field and tap the save button. So I can't use the data services with this latest and expensive bb z10 until now while other phones such as Iphone, HTC, Samsung phones is working with this APN easily. Please kindly advise me if you have a solution for this problem.

Your SIM card has data working in any other phone I hope.
Try this. Under Network Connection>Internet Tethering. setup tethering on the Zed10 either USB/Bluetooth option. Try to turn it on. If it fails to turn on, restart your device and try to turn on again. It should turn on and it should change from you small e or h to a caps one.

How can i get and save the name of the file

Hi all
in my program i'm dealing with several text files each has its own name
after doing some process on each i do save the output as output.txt
can i add the file name before or after the output.txt
i.e i want the name of the file to be part of the saved output
filenameOutput.txt
or
outputFilename.txt
any ideas?????

Just write it - somewhere in your code you have to have the file name anyway, or you couldn't write to that file.

How to install Adobe Reader on the D drive?

I have to install the Adobe Reader program on a disk D, but I have not asked, and they set it on the C drive. How to solve this problem?

You should be able to select a custom location on the second install page by hitting the "Change" button. Still, some components will always end up on your system root drive. It's inevitable and for Reader the difference would be minor....

How can you sort bookmarks in the Sidebar by date added? Works in Library but does not carry over to Sidebar.

When opening the Bookmarks Sidebar, the oldest bookmarks added are at the very top, easily visible.
The most recent bookmarks added are at the bottom, requiring me to scroll all the way down every time I want to visit a recent bookmark. This is a major nuisance. I'm actually a little shocked that this happens when it's such an obvious hassle.
How can I flip the list of bookmarks so the newest ones are right at the top where I can easily access them?
Sorting in the Library does not carry over to the Sidebar as far as I can tell.

Looks as though the SortPlaces add-on should be able to do it.

How can I assign authorizations for the Flight list data?

Hello,
I am doing the Web Dynpro tutorial for calling BAPIs from Web Dynpro.
I have finished it successfully but I don't get any data back. When I checked this BAPI with SE37 I receive a message "No Authorization" at the RETURN parameter.
My question is: How can I assign myself these authorizations?
I am not a BW person so a step-bystep explanation will be very helpful...

hi jaya....
1. you need generate the table maintenance using the Menu Utilities->Table maintenance generator
2. give the authorization group, package, function group, overview screen number etc.
3.create the table maintenance
4. now go to se93
5. give custom tcode and say create
then enter description , and then
choose the radio button Transaction with parameters
6. now enter tcode as SM30 and check the check box skip intial screen
7. Check all gui support buttons
8. now go down and enter VIEWNAME from F4 help and value as table name
9. and add UPDATE(choose it from F4) and value as 'X'.
VIEWNAME ZTABLE
UPDATE X
and save it, now check the Tcode.
or
use se80...create a transaction...click transaction with parameters and use SM30 as the basis....set VIEWNAME to the table's name and UPDate to X (no quotes)

I've just downloaded Adobe Flash Player 13, but .flv files and .f4v files are not played by Adobe Flash Player. I've tried to make it default player but i didn't release which file .exe to browse for (by right-clicking and choosing Open with > Choose default program...).

There's a Flash Player Projector (standalone) in the Flash Professional CS6/Players folder, but it's usually outdated.
When browsing to an app to use from the Properties window, go there, but... download this one: Windows Flash Player 13 Projector and replace the Flash Player that's in that folder.
If you're looking to test Flash files you've authored, then you'll need the Projector, but if you're just looking for a good player for FLV and F4V, then you should use VLC Media Player. http://www.videolan.org/

I am trying to read an instrument. The is a simple instrument because all it does is feed data; there aren't not any write commands whatsoever. I am trying to read the instrument in time intervals. It seems to work fine except for the one second interval. Every 5 seconds I don't get reading and there are zero bytes at the serial port. Any suggestions on what I should do?

There is a Visa serial VI called VISA Bytes at Serial port. Use a comparison node for =0 and wire this to a case structure. In the false case, read your data.

How to use javascript to "save as" using form data in the file name

I want to be able to use a button to "save as" and have it automatically pick up and use certain data from the fields in the file name. without having to manually type in the file name.
Name: john doe
Date: 1-25-13
file name would be (john doe 1-25-13)

You will need two parts for this. A folder level script (which you place in a .js file under the JavaScripts folder of Acrobat), and a script embedded in the file itself (probably attached to a button).
The folder-level script will look like this:
