How can open a close asset year???

Hi Everyone.. I am really interesting in open a asset year.. and i need close it again later..
someone can explain me how can i do it??? no just the transaction cos i know it .. AJAB / AJRW if not a little explication about it.

Hi,
AJRW is purely a technical setting that is required for you to view or do anything in the next asset year. You do this once per copmany code, and it cannot get undone. Until you have done this for a year, you cannot do any transacitons or asset reporting in that year. Typically you will do this before the new year starts.
AJAB is the close of the previous year and roll forward to the new, and this is typically only done once you are happy that all transactions for the previous year have been posted, and the depreciation runs completed, with figures verified and correct. You can transact in the new year without closing the previous year. If you close it using AJAB, and you subsequently find that there is info missing or incorrect, you can reverse using OAAQ, corrcet your figures, rerun depreciation and then close again using AJAB.

There is no such functionality. You could perhaps create a script that stores that info in a custom text file and arranges them accordingly in the workspace, but that's as good as it gets...

RMMMPERI accepts a period/year or a date.
If you enter a date the period is derived by it.
1. create a variant and check the attribute 'selection variable' for the parameter date. Then click the button 'Selection variables' and set the current date. Every time this variant is used the parameter DATE is filled with the current date.
2. create a job for RMMMPERI with the variant created in the preceding step. Set it as periodic.
If you're not using a fiscal year variant simply schedule it as monthly (to be executed the first day of the month).
If you are using a fiscal year variant you'd have to define a calendar with only the first day of each period defined as working
day and use it in the periodicity restrictions.
Another possibility:
Write a very simple ABAP which run daily to check if the period has changed and submit RMMMPERI.

JS can not interact with open dialogs in any way, unless it's a dialog

Another option is to create a smart mailbox that includes emails with date received before a desired date.
Then, select one message in the Smart Mailbox and cmd-A to select all. Then delete.

In My product I use JTabbedPane for several tabs,so i need an option to close each tab ,currently I have an toolbar close button and menu button,but these two are global options,so how can I have close option in the same tab??

For a similer problem I did it like this
I creates a subclass of JPanel called TabPanel which having a BorderLayout and in the North section of it there is a tool bar with close button. And it has a reference to the Parent JTabbedPane.
When ever the close button is clicked it just call the remove on parent TabbedPane giving itself as the parameter.
and every tab page added to JTabbedPane is a instance of it or an instance of its subclass.
I think that you can do things on your own from here....

Dear Harish,
You can block the asset through OAOA at asset class level blocking at Asset Class level, and same you can block for creation at a chart of depreciation level from AM05.
And for additional acquisition you can block from AS05. I hope this will solve your issue. If you have doubts feel free to share.

Purchase order related to asset you can see in Asset Master itself. Go to AS03 - Environment ( Menu bar ) - Click on Purchase Order. Here you will have all the relevant PO's relating to asset.
GR you can see in PO at a Purchase Order history. The data relating to asset you can see in left hand side navigation in AW01N Asset Explorer. Like as Vendor, PO's, etc.
WBS in PO you can see in Account Assignment Tab if your PO is created with N. ( Network PO ). WBS linked to Network you can see in CJ20N ( Project Builder ).
WBS Actual values can see in report CJI3 Actual Cost & Revenues.
