I had been using an S4 for about a year when I got a hold of a lumia 928 and wanted to try it out was using while waiting for the 8.1 update when I broke the phone beyond repair .I go to switch back to my S4 and get the message that my phone is not compatible with my current plan (unlimited Data) how can that be as this is the phone I had been using on the plan originally. Call customer service lady tells me she can take care of it I switched phones and everything is back to the way it was before except not I get a message telling me i'm now on a 2gb data plan. Another call to customer service to be told that I upgraded my phone and I had to be moved to a new data plan. How is this considered an upgrade?

They probably coded it incorrectly. Get them to code it as ce customer equipment and put the 29.99 feature back on. If they say it's not available request an inactive pricing request put in as you have 14 days to get unlimited feature when there's this type of error.

Sign/log out of your apple account then log back in. It will then allow you to use the US store.

Deleting the backup only permanently deletes the backup from iCloud. It doesn't do anything to the data currently in your account or on your devices. To delete it, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of the device that you want to delete the backup for, then tap Delete Backup.
You can't see anything in an iCloud backup, if that's want you're asking. You can only restore it to your device. You can, of course, see your other iCloud data.

iPods (except for iPod touch) are not linked to any iTunes "account." They are associated with your iTunes library. The account in iTunes is your Apple ID, and that is used to buy and download content from the iTunes Store. It is not required to use an iPod.
The 1st (and 2nd) gen shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library at a time. When you connect it, iTunes should prompt you to start using it with your iTunes library, and warn that the shuffle's existing content will be erased. Have iTunes erase the shuffle, and it will be associated with your iTunes library going forward. You can then add content to your shuffle.
The need for the previous owner's Apple ID and password should only come up if you are trying to transfer existing content from the shuffle to your iTunes library, AND the previous owner had content purchased from the iTunes Store. Just cancel out of that step, if iTunes asks.

Try backing it up to your computer with iTunes. Connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of the phone in iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer you apps and other purchased media to your iTunes library.

If I turn her new phone off, dial *228 on her old phone, is that is all that is required? I have been able to do it from the website in the past, but for some reason it won't let me any longer. I don't mind calling them, but she will be needing to move her service back and forth quite often, so I would like to find a better way. Any advice?

The option of calling *228 and choosing option 1 should work. And as you stated, shut off the active phone first.

Random crashes after upgrade; how to switch back to previous version Firefox

First of all Firefox upgraded itself without asking, even though I did not give any approval or command to go ahead. Since my HW is a bit older, I do not want to go for any SW upgrades of my infrastructure SW, except essential tools for my work. 99% of time upgraded SW will need/ use up more resources and slow down the performance while providing "NEW" features or enhancements which I may not even want unless I upgrade my HW. Now I am prone to more crashes when I have scores of tabs in 3 or 4 windows, which is normal for my concurrent processing mind; as often my searches result in things that I cannot finish reading/followup in a day. Although I do bookmark a lot too, but one has to remember to do it; whereas a Tab is open there to REMIND me to read or followup.
Secondly, Then there is no easily visible way or button to switch back to the "previous" version of Firefox; i.e. to undo the Upgrade. Very disappointing and frustrating !! What happened to customer-oriented thinking ?
Adobe behaves better, I have been saying NO to its upgrade question a zillion times, without unchecking "Remind Later" box. And it did not upgrade automatically in last 2 yrs. Only when I pressed ENTER with its button in focus, did it go ahead and upgrade itself (even that was unwittingly done, but at least it WAS my action).

Going back to an earlier version is never a good idea for security reasons.

If you do not have a back up of the crashed hard drive you can download an app to copy from the iPhone to iTunes on the new hard drive.

Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:

Thanks for your reply but problem not solved. If I have reached page 5 for example, I can not go back to the previous page 4. Instead it goes back to page 1 when I use the back track arrows, gestures or the back or forward commands!! The girl at my local Apple dealer says that it can't be done. This should be a very basic browsing function in the App Store. I know other people have the same problem.
