Always good to give the computer operating system involved in case any computer specific details needed to be included. But here is your
generalized yet specific answer for Premiere Elements 12 and increasing the volume of a video clip.
If you are in the Expert workspace...
a. click and drag upward the orange band that runs horizontally through the middle of the audio clip.
or
b. go to Adjust Tab/Adjustments Palette/ Volume Panel expanded on move the volume slide toward +6 dB.
0 db does not represent no sound. It represents the volume of the sound when it was recorded. 0 to +6 dB increases the sound above the recording level; 0 to infinity symbol decreases the sound below the recording level, finally to muted sound.

I'm able to export stills from iMovie without anything extra. I create a new project - call it Exports say. Now, in your event clip with the frames you want as stills, select a single frame and drag it into your project. Repeat for other stills you want to export. Then choose Share -> Export Using QuickTime.
In the pop-up, choose Movie to Image Sequence. Click Options and choose the image format you want. Playing with the number of stills lets you pick how many stills you want from each second of video. Hit OK and the stills will be generated in the directory you choose.
I've only done this with HD video. Don't know how well it works with lower res, interlaced vid.

In Imovie '11, how can I drag more than one set of video clips into my project. I know how to highlight in yellow and drag the set, but can I drag a group of sets? Thanks

To select multiple clips, hold down the command key as you click multiple clips. Then you can drag them all at once.
To drag all clips at once, select one, then Edit/Select All. Then drag them all.

How can I make adobe premeire 10 organizer display video clips

This is driving me crazy.
I have reinstalled the whole adobe photoshop/premeire programs and still nothing.
I am thinking this whole organiser thing ius a waste of good pixels because neither program needs the organizer.
Any joy out there?

My ipad camera got stuck on the video button so every picture has come out as a video clip. Can anyone tell me how to extract still photos from a video? I don't know which version of iphoto is on my ipad.

How can I highlight a particular person in a video clip?

I'm working on a project in iMovie that involves video clips of baseball games. There's a particular player that I'd like to highlight somehow; like place an arrow to point him out, or place a circle around him, etc. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I couldn't find anything in the tutorials or iMovie help. Thanks!

How can I make the wireframe identical for various video clips?

For the end credits on a small movie, I would like the video clips to be much smaller, and the background to be black. I know how to make the clips smaller on the screen, and this is done by adjusting the wireframe.
I am trying to have the wireframe remain in its identical size and location across various clips but cannot figure how to do this other than change the wireframe independently for each single video clip, making it an approximate job.
Is there a way to ensure that the properties of the wireframe (size, position) remain constant for a series of clips? I have tried to find some properties settings for the wireframe which I could replicate for all clips but this search has proved unsuccessful.

I downloaded a video that is in black and white (pitbull's feel the moment). I want to superimpose videos and pictures so that it looks like my clips were the ones used originally. i was messing around with the hue (from my videos) and managed to get it similar. But is there a way to automatically match the tones and hues of one video so that it can be used on the other?

I am trying to create a highlight video for players on our high school team. I can clip/freeze and slow down portions of the clip but I am looking for an easy solution to either draw a circle or shadow out the balance of the frame for a second to highlight who in the clip the viewer should be watching. How can I view an AI file created on a MAC on a PC without corrupting the original fonts? An AI file was created with an image and text on a MAC. When the AI file was opened on a PC, the text fonts were not the same as originally created. Also, the same AI file was saved to PDF on the MAC. When the AI file was opened on a PC, there wasn't anything visible. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using the save version of Illustrator on both Mac and PC? If so, and you have the same fonts installed on both machines you should be able to open it without any problems. You may need to tell it which fonts to assign, they are not always named the same. If you don't need to edit the text, you could convert the text to outline and eliminate the need for fonts.

If you want to be able to view the book with iPhoto on the other Mac you'll have to copy the library containing the book to the other Mac. You won't be able to import that book into the other library.
Make a duplicate copy of the library containing the book and rename the folder "Book Library". Open it with iPhoto and delete all of the files that are not in the book. Then copy the Book Library folder to the other Mac and open. You can also burn the Book Library folder to a CD as a way to archive the book in case you decide to order another copy at a later date. I create a separate library for each book I create and order and archive it to CD when I've ordered.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You cannot get around Activation Lock without the oringinal owner disassociating the iPad from their account.
See the Activation Lock FAQ for what you and they need to know.
