How can we add add-ins to Mail?

Question

Is there a way we can add addins in Mail? For instance, we would like to add the calendar if possible. Also, we would like to be able to create folders in Mail so we can store different messages after they arrive.
Is there a way to view the deleted items (as in a trash bin)without viewing them in the inbox?
We would appreciate any assistance that anyone could provide with this enquiry.

Mail does not have a built-in calendar and there's no way to add one. Mail links to iCal to schedule events from messages you receive, if that's what you want to do. If you need other functionality between Mail and a calendar, if you can explain what it is you need, perhaps someone here can suggested a method or workaround.

Click the "+" button at the lower-left corner of the Mail window and choose "New Mailbox".
