         when you say VAT, it is sales tax which is calculated on the whole document amount meaning after calculating CENVAT (BedEcessHcess),

I am doing the Web Dynpro tutorial for calling BAPIs from Web Dynpro.
I have finished it successfully but I don't get any data back. When I checked this BAPI with SE37 I receive a message "No Authorization" at the RETURN parameter.
My question is: How can I assign myself these authorizations?
I am not a BW person so a step-bystep explanation will be very helpful...

hi jaya....
1. you need generate the table maintenance using the Menu Utilities->Table maintenance generator
2. give the authorization group, package, function group, overview screen number etc.
3.create the table maintenance
4. now go to se93
5. give custom tcode and say create
then enter description , and then
choose the radio button Transaction with parameters
6. now enter tcode as SM30 and check the check box skip intial screen
7. Check all gui support buttons
8. now go down and enter VIEWNAME from F4 help and value as table name
9. and add UPDATE(choose it from F4) and value as 'X'.
VIEWNAME ZTABLE
UPDATE X
and save it, now check the Tcode.
or
use se80...create a transaction...click transaction with parameters and use SM30 as the basis....set VIEWNAME to the table's name and UPDate to X (no quotes)

How can I assign shortcuts for navigation in 3D mode?

I'm a 3D artist, and I've been using photoshop for texturing my models for so long. Now that photoshop has improved it's 3D features, It's making my life so easy, but there's a problem(other than the memory consumption).
I have to change my navigation from rotation to panning and zooming by clicking on the buttons on top, and for a long run it would be devastating , and I haven't found a way to assign any shortcuts to them so I can easily and quickly hover around my 3D model to texture and paint it.
I personally Believe that It won't be addressed until CS7 or some other version. I just wanted to share this question with you guys n see if there's some way that I haven't figured out yet!

The navigation is a mess despite there being countless 3D apps to provide inspiration to the Photoshop 3D developers. The effect of a given modifier key or combination of keys confusingly changes, depending on the mode of the Move Tool, and sometimes the wrong cusor is displayed. It's a no-brainer to allow the user to define behaviours for middle-button and right-button mouse dragging but these drags aren't utilised at all in Photoshop.
If Move Tool is active (not temporarily enabled as described below) then successive presses of V key will cycle through its 3D modes such as Rotate, Drag, Slide, etc.
While painting, navigation is possible by holding down V key to temporarily enable Move Tool.
Before painting, set Move Tool to 3D Rotate mode and select Current View in 3D panel.
Now activate a painting tool such as Brush Tool.
While the painting tool is active, hold down V to temporarily enable Move Tool and:
· drag in doc window to rotate view then release V to return to painting.
· hold down mouse button then, on a Mac at least, hold down Ctrl key then drag in doc window to drag view in the screen plane, then release mouse button before releasing Ctrl key or the view will suddenly rotate, then release V to return to painting.
Other modifier keys, alone and in combination, can change the behaviour of Move Tool. If you're very lucky, you'll find a set of modifiers to provide all three of Rotate, Drag and Slide while the Move Tool is set to one particular mode.
If you're using a tablet instead of a mouse then... I don't know.

How can I assign filename for the Write Table to XL.vi from NI sample?

The sample from NI (Write Table to XL.vi) works fine, but always it open a "Book1" as defult then askes to save it later!
I try to modify it and assign a meaningfull filename so that the user does need to save or rename it ... but I failed!
Is there an easy way to modify this sample for that purpose? Can anyone help me?

Hi ATC,
I modified your vi, it creates an XLS file with the filename you assign (no dialog box).
You get a dialog box only if the file already exists, but this is normal; if you don't want to have it either, simply delete it progammatically before creating the new one.

How can I assign a period (instead of B) in Keynote for blank screen so I can use a Logitech R800 presenter? An option in next version?

I have recently bought a Logitech R800 presenter which works very well with Keynote on a MacBook Pro. The start/stop presentation key does not work but that can be easily fixed by assigning F5 to "Start presentation" for Keynote in the keyboard system preferences. The remaining issue is that the blank screen button sends a period (".") which works as a prompt for a blank screen in PowerPoint, but in Keynote it causes the slideshow to end. Keynote uses the letter "B" for blank screen.
How can I assign a period (instead of B) in Keynote for blank screen? Some sort of work around would be very useful as I often use blank screen in my presentations and much prefer Keynote to PowerPoint.
Perhaps it will be an option in next version of Keynote?

As far as I know you can not change these keystrokes without changing the Program files. I am sure it is possible there, but I have no idea where to even start to tell you where to find it.
Your best bet it to go to the Keynote Menu>Provide Keynote Feedback and let Apple know you would like the option to change them.

Just like the title states, I was wondering how can I assign a click to call a contact in Reminders without using Siri for it.
When I enter a reminder "Call mom" for instance (in the Reminders app), it does not sync with the same contact in my Contact list (for Click to Call), but it does when I use Siri for it. Anyway to resolve that?

If the config the the module you are using doesn't support a certain type of form them you have two options;
- Take a copy of the print program and change it to use the desired type of form
- Create a type of form that is supported and use that to call your form.

hi! Don't know what kind of OS you are using, but with the MAC, within Address Book on the computer, not the iPhone, you have to designate the category for the address entry as BUSINESS, then the building will show up after you sync your iPhone with the MAC.

comp2 - Sales org 2 - plant 2
comp3 - Sales org 3 - plant 3.
Now i want to do Intercompany sale of Sales org2 with plant 1 & Intercompany sale of sales org3 with plant 1.
For that how can i assign , more than 1 sales org of diff company codes to Plant1 ??
Does SAP allow to do intercompany sale for more than 1 diff sales orgs ??

Hi nitin,
as per your scenario,
Company code 1 orders goods through its sales organization 1 from Plant 2 belonging to Company code 2.
It is imperative that both Plants 1 & 2 should have the material. In other words, the material is created for both the Plants 1 & 2 + their respective storage locations.
Sales Organizations and Plants are uniquely assigned to Company codes. It is not possible to assign either a plant or a sales organization to more than one company code.
Sales organizations and plants assigned to each other need not belong to the same company code.
In other terms,
a plant belonging to Company code 1 & assigned to Sales Organization 1 can also be assigned to Sales Organization 2 of Company Code 2.
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
Assign Delivery Plant of the supplying company code to Sales Org + Distribution channel of the Ordering company code in the Enterprise Structure.
DEFINE ORDER TYPES FOR INTERCOMPNY BILLING:
Menu path: IMG/ SD/Billing/Intercompany Billing/Define Order Types for Intercompany billing
Assign Organizational units by Plant:
Menu Path: IMG/ SD/Billing/Intercompany Billing/Assign Organizational units by Plant.
Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization:
Menu Path: IMG/ SD / Billing/ Intercompany Billing/ Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization:
Creating / Showing Ordering Sales Organization as Internal Customer for Supplying Company code:
Transaction Code: XD01
The ordering sales organization is represented as Internal customer of Supplying company code.
We need to create customer master in Account Group - Sold to Party and maintain minimum required financial & Sales Area data.
This internal customer number has to be assigned to the ordering sales organization. Hence, the system automatically picks up this Internal customer number whenever there is Intercompany billing.

The tax codes are stored in A003.
Tax code condition records are stored in condition table A003. The plantu2019s country (SD) or the company codeu2019s country (MM) along with the tax code, which was automatically determined from the SD/MM condition records, are used to read the tax condition records stored in table A003.

Here is the detailed process as outlined in SAP help.
Procedure
If only a limited set of users is to be able to post in a particular posting period, proceed as follows:
Add the posting period authorization (authorization object F_BKPF_BUP) to the authorizations of the selected users. Assign an authorization group (e.g. '0001').
Enter the account type '+' for the posting period variant to which the restriction is to apply. Enter the period(s) whose use is to be restricted in the first period, those which are available to all users in the second period, and the authorization group (e.g. '0001') in the last column.
Examples
A posting period can be successively restricted. If, e.g. 10 users have the posting period authorization with authorization group '0001', and 3 of these 10 users also with authorization group '0002'.
If the period is only to be accessible to the 10 selected users the authorization group '0001' is entered in the posting period variant. Access can later be restricted to the remaining 3 users by entering '0002'.

How do we reset password for SAP* and DDIC user in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0?
I tried with acual method as below from client '000':
DELETE FROM USR02 CLIENT SPECIIED WHERE BNAME = 'SAP*' AND MANDT = '001'.
After this when I tried to logon '001' using SAP* with password PASS it is giving the message that Incorrect logon and password.
(Also when I checked for 'SAP*' in 001 it looks like it is not got created as I queried as below:
SELECT SINGLE * FROM USR02 CLIENT SPECIFIED WHERE BNAME = 'SAP*' AND MANDT = '001'.)
Can anybody throw some light on this? RewardS is guranteed for solutions!

You must restart the system. So, that a new user with the name "sap*" gets generated with password "pass"

I am trying to create library class which will be accessed and used by different applications (with different image files to be assigned). So, what image file to call should be determined by and in the Main class.
Here is the Main class

I do understand that when I am making reference from main() method to MyJNIWindowClass() s first initialized to null and that is why clock could not be seen but how can I assign image file name from Main() class for library class without creating reference to Main() from MyJNIWindowClass()? Your problem is one of timing. Consider this simple example.

4. Back in method main, field s is now given value "world", but that
doesn't change message.
5. Finally, "Hello, null" is output.
The following fixes the above example:
