You can use computer iTunes to help.
Connect your iPod Touch to Computer's iTunes
In iTunes, select your iPod Touch under DEVICES (left pane).
On right pane select Music at the top.
Now you can de-select the music/playlist or anything you don't want and click Sync button bottom right.
You can do the above for Apps, Books, etc.
You can of course, de-authorize the computer in iTunes menu Store.
Note: That will make everything using his AppleID inaccessible.

Can a Dgraph server have two apps controlled by different EAC masters?

Absolutely Paul. In fact, we ran 12 apps, 6 against one EAC and 6 against another EAC for a period of about 6 weeks in a high volume production environment.
Kaush - the use case for us was during migration from 2.1 to 3.1 - we had the old stack running, then installed a new stack of EAC/Workbench and ran them side by side. Then as the apps were upgraded, we just pointed them from the old Dgraph to the new. That way we didn't have to do a big bang approach.

EAC 6.1.2 (on port 18888) --- WB 3.1.2 (on port (18006)
For your use case Paul, I can't see why you couldn't have both EAC be the same version. You just need to install then into two different directories and have them listen on 2 different ports. In our case, both pointed to the same MDEX installation.

I have a couple of options for you to consider. First, you may simply want to authorize all of your computers for your iTunes account and turn on Automatic Downloads, so that when you download something on one computer, it will automatically download to other computers:

You could also look into iTunes Match, a service that would seamlessly link all of your iTunes libraries:

How can I make a photo from two merged projects available for a book that I started using one project ? They merge but the book only allows me to access the original project photos even though the merged photos can be seen in the project ?

I have successfully merged two projects in order to add new photos for my book. The library available to the book which has 26 completed pages accesses only the original project library. Has anyone else had this problem ? It is frustrating to see the photos I want in the merged project file, but to have only the original photos when I started the book available in the book library.

That will work, but it is the long way 'round.
As Frank noted, Book Albums are just specialized Albums. Albums can show any Image in your Library, regardless of where the Album is located on the Library Inspector, and regardless of which Project contains the Image. You can put your Albums anywhere (in a Folder called "Books" for example). You can put Images from anywhere in your Library in any Album.
The easy way 'round:
- Make a new Book Album
- Select Images you may want to put in your Book. Flag them.
- Select some more. Flag them.
- Go to the "Flagged" container (listed near the top of the Library Inspector), select all, and drag-and-drop them to your Book Album.
- Repeat as needed, or just drag-and-drop directly into the Book Album.
Note that you can remove any Image from any Album (including Books) by selecting and hitting the "{Delete}" key. This _does not remove the Image from the Project that contains it, or from the Library.
Note, too, that once the Images are in your Book Album, you then put them in the Book you are creating for publication. The Book Album contains the superset of Images with which you populate the Book itself. The Book Album also holds the Book.

Background:
I am using Mountain Lion and Mail App and running out of space on my small primary SSD drive (where I keep OS, apps, key user preferences/data and mail for speed). The mail data is the big variable (many GBs) and I want to "archive"/move some of the old mail to my 2nd drive inside the Mac. But I still want it searchable inside spotlight and preferably even inside Mail too. And I'd like to be able to still drag and drop old mails into this archive folder.
What I've tried that seems to work:

1. Move the archive folder/mailbox to the 2nd drive/partition/folder (don't delete anything inside Mail App)
2. Create a symbolic link from its new location to the original/old location
This seems to work, it looks as "normal" and as if nothing happened inside Mail App but the folder now resides elsewhere and seems searchable etc. But I'm not sure that once caches refresh or over time with updates etc if stuff will break horribly or corrupt.

I'm having a similar but slightly different problem. My company just migrated to Gmail, and it's saving mail drafts every 30 seconds into my Trash folder.
I unchecked the "Show in IMAP" preference in the Gmail settings, but my Drafts folder completely disappeared. I went back and checked it and the folder reappeared (with my drafts still in there).
I like the idea if starting an email on my laptop and having the option of finishing it on my iPhone or iPad, so only saving Drafts locally would not be ideal.

Hello, thank you for your prompt answer. I did have an idea that Home sharing might be the answer but could not quite figure out how to do it. I have enabled home sharing in my iTunes account, put in username and password, clicked on creat etc. But the homs sharing icon doew not appear in the left side of iTunes. So I got stuck. Thanks for answering. The version is XI.0.10. I just did the update yesterday hoping that I could now properly edit a scanned pdf document. Yes, it's happening on most all scanned documents. I followed your steps & found the list of fonts used in the document & then attempted to edit. The same occurs. When I type in a correction, I get an error alert... "the original font (in this case Fd 5805) is not available or can't be used in editing. Acrobat is using the font Minion Pro in its place."
When I select the text & right click as you suggested, my only choices are cut, copy, delete or select all, no "edit text".
I have no other options to choose another font. Thanks for any help you can direct my way.

802.11 refers to a document that specifies how wireless networking works. It goes into detail about the radio signals, frequencies, signal strengths, encoding of data, etc. From a practical standpoint, the typical person really only care about a couple of things: speed and encryption.
802.11b - describes networks that transmit 11 mbps using a 2.4 GHz radio frequency
802.11g - describes networks that transmit 54 mbps using a 2.4 GHz radio frequency
802.11n - describes networks that transmit up to 600 mbps using 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies
n is faster than g which is faster than b. The speed of a network connection is limited to the slowest part (so, if you have an 'n' router, but your laptop only supports 'g', you get the 'g' speed).
WEP, WPA, and WPA2 refer to data encryption schemes specified in parts of the 802.11 document. With Wi-Fi, you are broadcasting your network activity over a radio, and it's pretty obvious that anyone could eavesdrop on the transmission. By using cryptography, you can scramble the data being passed back and forth so that the sender and receiver still understand the messages sent, but an eavesdropper cannot.
WEP is a very simple encryption scheme, one that the methods to decrypt the data is pretty straight-forward. It's not effective against someone that wants to intentionally eavesdrop on your activities (or access your computer) because they can use software to determine the password simply enough.
WPA and WPA2 are improvements over WEP that make cracking the password even more difficult (WPA2 being better than WPA).
The "enterprise" version of WPA2 refers to a variation on WPA2 that requires special security servers, security certificates, and other complicated systems most likely only applicable to a corporate or military environment. It's impractical for a home or small office.
To connect to a wireless network, you generally don't have to worry about the encryption used since the computer will receive a notice from the wireless network about how it is setup and use the appropriate method. It's probably good for you to pay attention whether the network you are connecting to is secure or not.
If you are setting up a network at home using a cable modem or broadband router, or even just a Wi-Fi access point, you want to set it up to use WPA2 unless you have some very old computers that only support WPA. You should avoid using WEP.

If you are referring to an iDevice, sign out of your new Apple ID and sign back in with your old one - they should all be there.
