How can we delete uninstalled/removed devices in Windows at once?

My Windows PC is running for several years, and after install and uninstall many hardwires on this PC, there're so many hidden uninstalled entries in my device manager (I can see them by enable the "show hidden devices" under the View menu).
So how can I delete all of these removed devices at once with one application or command?

    You didn't see this bit?
"Your content won't be deleted from iCloud when you erase your device."
You only lose iCloud data from other devices if you manually delete the data. If you Erase all content and data, you keep iCloud data elsewhere.

  • How can i delete uninstalled iOS apps?

How can i delete uninstalled iOS apps in iTunes11 & iphone? Its taking up my iPhone's space as i kept trying on new apps but uninstalled them after trying. The uninstalled apps still appear in my iTunes "Apps" though. I deleted all the apps in Mobile Application folder in Mac because i couldnt delete any in iTunes & iPhone but its not working(still in my iTunes "Apps"). I wanna get rid of them from my iTunes & iPhone.... so that i can save space... HOW?

Mark the names that you see in the apps man.. They should be like a000c1b.sis etc.
Connect the phone to your PC as USB mass storage device.
Open the drive in your PC.
In search option, write down the name, the files will appear, delete em.
Or, you can use 3rd party File explorer like explore to delete em.

If your system crashes or you reinstall your operating system without deauthorising iTunes first, even a single computer can use up your limit of 5 authorisations. You can't deauthorise those dead installations individually. However once you've reached your limit of 5 you have the option to deauthorise them all in one go from your iTunes Store account and start over again. *Just note that you can only use this option once a year*: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation
To deauthorise all computers associated with your account:
    1. Click iTunes Store in the Source pane.
    2. If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
    3. Click the Account button again (your ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
    4. In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.

  • How can i delete or remove a software update message?

I have an iPhone 4 S. I received the message to upgrade the Software from 7.2.1 to ios 8.1. But i will not do so. Now this message is always visible. How can I deet or remove this recommendation of Software upgrade?

I don't believe it's possible through any easy means. The only way I've done it is by restoring the device *as new*, not using a backup...the backup may in fact contain the update flag as well if you've made the backup with the update flag in place. If so, it will be restored to the device as well.
If you know you have a backup made *before the update flag was triggered*, you can restore using that backup and the flag should be gone.
However, after all is said and done and you actually *do* remove the update flag, it will again be pushed to the device unless you block Apple's update server from communicating with the device.

  • How can I delete user account picture in Windows 8?

I have set my account picture, but now want to delete the pic and back to the default.
    How can I do it?

    Hello,
The userpic, the image tiles used for your account picture, is located, in different resolutions, in the following folder: C:\Users\Public\AccountPictures\%UserAccountSecurityIdentifier%
where %UserAccountSecurityIdentifier% is a placeholder for the Security IDentifier (SID) assigned by the operating system or domain controller to your user account.
Here is how it looks like:
NOTE: If your are using multiple account for login to your computer, like local Security Account Manager (SAM) account (standard account created and stored on your local PC in NTFS), your Microsoft Account (the one using internet account name provided
by Microsoft such as [email protected],
[email protected]), or an Active Directory account, please open root C:\Users\Public\AccountPictures\ folder and browse to the folder with the name of the SID assigned to your user account for which you want to change the user picture.
To find out what SID refers to what user account name used on your PC, proceed with the following:
Start the elevated command prompt by pressing WindowsKey+Q and typing
    cmd, then hitting Enter.
At the command prompt type: wmic useraccount get name, sid and press
    Enter.
This will return a table with all user accounts registered on this computer (that is those who had once logged onto this PC) and their corresponding SIDs.
    Now lookup this registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AccountPicture\Users
And locate the subkey (named correspondingly to the desired SID), then remove REG_SZ values that contain paths to the userpic images to remove traces of userpics.
WARNING: Please create new system restore point before making this registry change!
    Hope this helps.

  • How can I delete an old device from icloud

I need to remove my old iPhone 5 from icloud, but every forum i see, the descriptions don't match my experience on icloud.com.  I can't get to Products or Manage by Devices, where I can remove the device. I don't have my device.  I am looking to do this on icloud.com

    Hey sharb830,
You should be able to remove iCloud from a device from there but would need to be erased. If you can get the device to erase then you will not see the option to remove the device from iCloud. For more information take a look at the article below.
