How can we load apps without creating an Apple ID for each employee?

We have at least two apps that we'd like to distribute to our company iPads. We would like to hand the employee the iPad with everything loaded. We don't care if they create their own Apple ID and manage it after the fact but when the employee gets the iPad, it should have the apps they require.
How do we load these apps without creating an Apple ID for each employee? If we load the apps from App Store with our Apple ID, the app requires that username and password whenever there is an update. The employee can not update the app without our username and password or they have to delete and reinstall the app with their own credentials. Is there a way to load an app so that it doesn't require the credentials of the person that loaded it whenever there's an update?

Turn on computer.
Open itunes.
Connect a device.
Select what you want to sync.
Sync
Repeat for the otehr device

In many new cases, Save As is now called Duplicate in ML. It uses the same command-S keystroke. Older apps still have Save As. When you do a Duplicate operation, you will create an UNTITLED document. You have to save that duplicated document to complete the process.
So in 10.6.x, you would do ...
* Save As ...
* Give the file a new name + Chose the location for the file
* Click the Save button
Now in 10.8.x, you do ...
* Duplicate ...
* Save ...
* Give the file a name + Chose the location for the file
* Click the Save button
As baltwo mentioned, you have to search the Preferences of your browser to determine what is has set for the default Download folder.

Here's what I do. My wife and I each have an iPhone. We each have our own Apple ID. I also have another totally separate Apple ID. The ONLY thing that one has been used for was to set up Find my iPhone for our phones and my iPad. There is no reason the MobileMe setting for find my iphone can't be something completely different from your regular Apple ID UNLESS you already use MobileMe, in which case the 2 conflict in ways I don't understand as I don't subscribe to it.

Between my family, we have 2 iPhones, multiple computers, iPads, and an Apple TV ALL tied in to the same Apple ID (the one I created when I got my first device). With iCloud coming, I wanted to know if I need to create separate Apple IDs for each family member (for emails, contacts, calendars, etc.). For instance, I would like to share certain contacts and a calendar with only my wife, all media between all family members, and have home sharing so that I can play/stream content on my Apple TV. Will there be a way to have multiple and distinct me.com accounts and yet share the same Apple ID?

I happened to stop at the Apple store yesterday for a separate issue and had a discussion about iCloud. Seems like this is how iCloud works (also, there's another thread on this forum that explains it well).
Each member of the family can have their own iCloud ID, which will be used for Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Apps, Bookmarks, Media, Photos, etc. and having this content synced automatically with a Mac (computer). The iCloud IDs work in tandem with the associated Apple ID — so while you cannot have multiple Apple IDs, you can certainly have multiple iCloud IDs tagged with a certain Apple ID.
While all this makes sense from the iOS device standpoint, I'm unclear on how things will sync with a Mac computer, especially if the family uses a single iMac with multiple login IDs for various members. For instance, I currently have an iMac and iTunes content resides in my Public folder, which my wife can still access when she logs in with her login ID. I'm guessing that I'll be able to set up her iCloud ID using her login, set up my iCloud ID using my login, while both our iMac logins will retain the same Apple ID. This would take care of syncing Photos, Contacts, Calendars, etc.
Another (not sure if unique) problem I face is our Address Book — right now, we have one GIANT address book with different groups set up. Certain groups sync to her iPhone, while others to mine. Some contacts are common between both of us. I'm hoping that if she/I updates a common contact, then the change will be reflected in both our groups of contacts. I hope this makes sense — for instance, I update a contact named Joe, and he's on my group of contacts in my iPhone. Hope iCloud updates the master contact card for Joe on the iMac, which would then automatically trigger the update on my wife's group of contacts—that Joe also belongs to— leading to an update on her iOS device as well.

How can I keep the name of the user around for each JSP without asking user

I have a number of JSP pages that I give the user access to once they login successfully. I want to be able to keep the name of the user present on every page without having to ask them for it each time.
How can I do this? Currently I have a user object that is access through use of a request bean in my JSP's.

I am right in thinking that the second one will instantiate a new bean object which if I do every time I go to the page, I will be getting the same name but in a different session each time. In the first SessionTest.jsp, I get the same name but from the same session object each time??

How can I restore iPad without access to Apple ID or last PC used?

My organization has about 25 iPads. I just had one returned to me as "Disabled", and I am unable to recover it using the usual procedure because I don't have access to the last PC it was connected to. This iPad was used by a former employee. I have no idea what he set up as his Apple ID or password, and do not have access to his PC/iTunes account. The normal approach to recovery requires the Apple ID and Password and last PC used for iTunes. What can I do?
This recovery approach is designed for consumers, not a business with a normal rotation of employees. Do I have to download one of those hacking tools?

You can restore it from any computer with iTunes. If, however, the previous employee set up Find My iPhone and hence Activation Lock, you will need that employee's Apple ID and password to activate the device after the restore, or you'll need to get him/her to remove the device from his/her iCloud account:

If you can't reach the previous user or he/she is unwilling to cooperate, you will need to contact Apple Support and ask if they can help. If your company can provide proof of ownership, there may be something they can do.
For the future, most companies either set up Find My iPhone using an Apple ID and password the company controls, or they lock off the ability to make account changes so that the employee can't set up iCloud.

This is the first time I open a discussion. I'm new at this. I've been reading for a couple of months your forums and certainly you've helped me a lot. Thanks for that. Keep it up! ^_^
Now on business. Let me explain a bit about what I'm looking for.
I've been looking for a report that shows me the material consumption of the month in quantities. Raw Material and Packaging Material to be more specific. Also I need to see the consumption of those materials by each specific Finished Good.
For example, I know the consumption of Flour of all the month, but we use it for all our Finished Goods or SKU's as we call them, since we make cookies. How can I know how much Flour each Finished Good actually used?
I've been trying with different T-Codes, reports, etc. The last thing I've got is using transaction MB51 and filtering movements type from 261 to 262. The beauty of this report is that shows me the Process Order number, since I can match the PO number to a Finished Good with another report from BI (or BEX, however you call it).
Everything was fine until I found that there are some PO's that are not directly related to a Finished Good, but to a Semi Finished Good. In some cases I'm able to match the Finished Good, since the majority of Semi Finished Goods are uniques to a Finished Good. But there are three specific cases that are my problem right now:
Cream X: We use it for three Finished Goods.
X Syrup: We use it for all the Finished Goods.
Refined X Sugar: We use it for three Finished Goods.
So those three are Semi Finished Goods which are related to certain numbers of PO's I have on the report.
In the end, with the report from MB51 I have all the list of materials (filtering only Raw and Packaging), I have the consumption of the month (filtering movements 261 and 262) and I have the PO number related to each material. Of course one material is listed many times on the report, but with different PO number.
Then, like I said, I can match the PO number to a Finished Good, except in the cases where the PO is not matched to a Finished Good, but to a Semi Finished Good like the three examples I gave you.
I don't know if there's another way to track the Finished Good having the PO number. I've tried T-Code COR3, but couldn't get too far.
I hope I explained myself a bit clear and also sorry if my English is not so good.

I would highly appreciate it if someone can point me into the right direction. I have some AS2 code which loads up the images via an xml file. I have been asked to eliminate XML entirely and have images be loaded from with in the library. Aside from images, there are other xml nodes such as:
image_name, image_description and such.
What would be the best way going about eliminating the XML and getting the code to load images and other related info from the library. I would highly appreciate your help on this, please.

What version of iWeb are you using? If iWeb 2 then you'll need to publish to a folder on the hard drive and use a 3rd party FTP client to upload the files to the server.

You can't. This is done as a security measure, so doubtful it will ever change. If you make another purchase within 15 minutes, you won't have to re-enter the password, but that's it.
