  • How can I see the MAD results in my planning book

    Hello Gurus:
    I'm setting up some statistical models in APO DP and running some test data through them.  How can I see the results of the MAD to verify if the models are calculating correctly?  I was hoping I can see the monthly MAD values in a key figure in my planning book?
    Does anyone know?
    Andrea

    Hello Andrea,
    As far as I know, I don't think there's a standard key figure or macro could acheive this.
    MAD or other errors in forecast are not saved as time series, so I don't know why you want to see them as time series.
    You can see the forecast errors in forecast result screen, and if you push comparision button, you can see forecast errors for several last runs.
    But I don't know how to put these value into planning book, unless you want to apply your own logic ...

  • How do we restrict the user access for a particular G/L account

    Dear Experts,
    At our customer site, we follow master / derived role concept for authorisations.
    We have a requirement to restrictict user at G/l account authorisation level.
    I am aware that every g/l account account has a authorisaition group. But g/l account authorisation is a non-org value for which the present value is * for brgru, we cannot restrict by user/org. At our customer site the authorisations are provided at master role level for a designation and derived role is restricted for a plant, BA etc..
    Is there is any user parameter level restriction which can handle this requirement, i mean user parameter for specific g/l account, as we do LIF pid to restrict vendor level access.
    Appreciate your suggestions ASAP.
    Best regards,
    M.Kumaran

    Depends.
    What are you trying to protect? GL account masterdata (FS00) or FI document creation for specific GL accounts?
    Without knowing more about the design principles behind your roles, your release or other restrictions, I would suggest:
    (1) grouping off the GL accounts you want to protect in authorization groups (maintained via FS00);
    (2) deactivating either object F_BKPF_BES (if your trying to restrict FI document creation) or object F_SKA1_BES (if your trying to restrict access to GL account masterdata) or both in master/derived role;
    (3) create several separate roles that would contain only the aforementioned objects with access to specific GL account groups;
    (4) assign the roles from step 3 to users as required.
    Hope this helps.

  • How can we restrict the user to a desired "Member access profile" ?

    Dear Gurus,
    In BPC 7.0 my "Team" has 4 "member access profiles" and a user is assigned to that team.
    Can that user have access to just one member access profile ??
    If he can, how do I set it up in BPC 7.0 ?
    NB: I read somewhere that I should not asign "member access profiles" to users directly. Hence I wanted to do it through "Team"
    -Venkat

    Vijaya,
    Sorry, but your answer didn't make any sense to me.
    Here all the 4 member access profiles are different. i.e. they all are restricted with a different dimension member. So, if I assign each of these 'member access profiles' directly to the user, my requirement is met.
    But my question is: how do my "user" pick the required member access profile from a TEAM which has all 4 member access profiles ?
    SAP suggested NOT to assign users directly to member access profiles. Instead it suggested to assign "teams" to member access profiles and assign user to the "teams"

  • How can i restrict the qty/value at the time of invoice

    Hi,
    Can you plesae tell me at the time of MIRO how can i restrict the user not to enter the qty more than in MIGO & PO
    Thanx

    You cannot restrict the qty in MIRO. because it is used for partial invoice receipt.
    E.g  in some cases 100 nos of qty might have received in one GR. But the supplier may give 3 invoices for this. that is the reason u cant restict this

  • How can i restrict the Expenditure Type values at a specific OU ?

    Dear Guys,
    I would like to ask about the Expenditure Types,
    I have implemented two projects for different Operating Units ,
    when navigating to any Projects responsibilty,and navigating the Expenditure Type field
    the values exist are all the values implemented across the OU not the values entered at this OU
    How can i restrict the Expenditure Type values at a specific OU
    Regards
    Amr Hussien

    Hello
    When you set up a project there is an option called Transaction Control.
    This option allow you to list the allowed or restricted elements of costs for the project.
    You may enter the transaction control on a project template and that will be copied to any new project.
    The cost elements may be expenditure types, expenditures categories, suppliers, employees, etc.
    In your case, I suggest to set up specific project templates for each operating units. On each template enter the list of allowed expenditures types for that OU.
    Doing so, the system restricts users from entering any expenditure item, supplier invoice, purchase cost etc, against an expenditure type, which is not allowed.

  • How can i restrict a user not open more than 3 sessions in database

    how can i restrict a user not open more than 3 sessions in database.For this i have already create a profile and set CONCURRENT_SESSIONS=3 and assing that profile to user but the problem is there.

    You will simply need to use the following parameter in your CREATE PROFILE syntax.
    CREATE PROFILE normal_user
    LIMIT SESSIONS_PER_USER 2;
    but the resource limits set for a profile are enforced only when you enable resource limitation for the associated database.
    you could do this either by having an initialization paramater which will invoke as soon as the database starts or try using ALTER SYSTEM command

    i want to make sure that the kids dont go back online on their wireless laptops after i have gone to bed!!!
    how can i restrict the useage times (say 11am - 11pm) for the hub/individual users - WITHOUT taking the plug out when I go to bed!!!

    @meaga-byte: the second of those two options can be achieved by using the "BT Powersave" function. This does mean that *everyone* will lose wifi accessibility, so no watching iPlayer be for _you_ drift off! PowerSave will turn all your wifi off and back on between particular times.
    This seems a more user friendly option for thoes who are not ofay with IP addresses etc.
    Unless Paul wants to use wifi while in bed

    How can we restrict the absence status (Which are not yet to be approved)in team calendar(MSS)

    Hi user570596,
    I think there is no method to actually restrict the date picker popup, but you can use the ApexLib Framework (http://apexlib.sourceforge.net/) to define a min/max value for your date field. This will prevent the user from submitting the page when the date value is outside the defined range.
    See http://inside-apex.blogspot.com/2007/03/min-max-value-validation-in-browser.html
    for details.

  • How can I get the elapse time for execution of a Query for a session

    Hi ,
    How can I get the elapse time for execution of a Query for a session?
    Example - I have a report based on the procedure ,when the user execute that it takes say 3 min. to return rows.
    Is there any possible way to capture this session info. for this particular execution of query along with it's execution elapse time?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    You can use the dbms_utility.get_time tool (gives binary_integer type value).
    1/ Initialize you time and date of beginning :
    v_beginTime := dbms_utility.get_time ;
    2/ Run you procedure...
    3/ Get end-time with :
    v_endTime := dbms_utility.get_time ;
    4/ Thus, calculate elapsed time by difference :
    v_elapsTime := v_endTime - v_beginTime ;
    This will give you time elapsed in of 100th of seconds...
    Then you can format you result to give correct print time.
    Hope it will help you.

  • How can  I  restrain the user login portal once, in the same time ???

    Hi
    I need to restrain the user can't repeat to login portal ....
    to reduce portal loading
    How can I restrain the user login portal once, in the same time???
    Which attributs in Identity Manager or amconsole I can do it to restrain the user ??
    tks

    Does your portal support anonymous access? If so, make sure you are using the authlessanonymous mode. This mode only creates one session that is shared for all anonymous users. This is much more efficient than anonymous access, which creates a session for each anonymous user.
    I have no other recommendation for limiting users to a single login. In general, web applications do not behave like this. What if a user closes their browser without logging out? Does the user have to wait until the session times out in order to log back in again?
    The same thing is true for users that are mobile. If a user leaves their office without logging out and then attempts to log in with a laptop in the conference room, then access will be denied in your implementation. Users do not expect this type of limitation being built into the system.
    If you are having problems scaling, then you need to look at your architecture and perhaps add some more resources. Also, make sure you are making efficient use of the authlessanonymous access mode as stated above.
